Jeffrey Epstein's younger and only brother Mark never reached the level of notoriety as Jeffrey in his life ... but he still ended up going through some interesting times -- and his opinions about Jeffrey's death have brought him plenty of attention.

We're going to take a look into the background of the late financier and convicted sex offender's brother and see what he's had to say about the implications of Jeffrey's activities on the state of American politics.

Mark, 71, was raised with Jeffrey in Sea Gate, Brooklyn. He got his start in the art world when he attended Cooper Union, a private university, according to the Daily Beast.

He was named the chairman of the Cooper Union Board of Trustees in 2009. He held the position until 2015, when he stepped down following a controversy when the school started charging tuition at the formerly free institution.

Mark reportedly tried his hand at various ventures, including starting a modeling agency and running a silk-screening business.

He apparently entered the real estate world later in his career, and his real estate company, Ossa Properties, at one time managed about 500 renter-occupied apartments in New York City.

Mark and Jeffrey's relationship came under scrutiny in July 2019, when Mark offered up his Florida condo after his brother was arrested on sex trafficking charges, according to Business Insider.

Jeffrey killed himself in jail the following month. He had set up a will just two days prior to his death and detailed an estate worth more than $577 million -- all of which ended up going to a trust excluding his brother.

If there were no will, Mark would have been the recipient of all of his late sibling's wealth.

Mark's been vocal about his belief that Jeffrey didn't commit suicide in his jail cell, and he's alleged the Department of Justice engaged in a cover-up of what he calls his brother's murder.

Mark says his brother's death has ruffled feathers in Washington, claiming in an interview with NewsNation in November 2025 that the Epstein Files have been edited to protect members of the Republican Party from scrutiny. He alleged the House of Representatives would only be interested in releasing the files after a thorough "scrubbing" of the files.

Mark alleged his late brother "definitely had dirt" on President Donald Trump, whose connection to Jeffrey has been widely scrutinized for more than a decade.

One brave little kid came face-to-fur with a black bear inside a Pennsylvania Family Dollar and yep, he lived to tell the tale ... and it’s a proper nightmare fuel story!

Alice and Ellen Kessler -- German twin entertainers who performed together and rose to fame in the 1950s and ’60s -- have reportedly died after choosing to end their lives together.

According to the German news outlet Bild, the former dynamic duo died at their home near Munich, Germany by assisted suicide.

The publication reports the Kesslers “no longer wanted to live” and “they had chosen to end their lives together.” Authorities were reportedly alerted after they died.

TMZ Sports has obtained more details surrounding Patrick Beverley's arrest -- the ex-NBA player is accused of punching his sister in the eye and choking her for up to 30 seconds at a Texas home.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Beverley's sister told officials she left the home in the middle of the night without permission to see her boyfriend at a nearby park on Nov. 14.

When she returned home, her mother, Lisa, was awake ... and told her to enter her room. Lisa then told her daughter to call the boyfriend and tell him to pick her up.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders had $200K in property stolen from his Ohio home during his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday ... officials tell TMZ Sports.

According to a new press release, three suspects wearing masks and gloves entered Shedeur's home around 6:46 PM. Surveillance cameras captured them making their way around several parts of the building.

Officials say the suspects then left the residence around 6:58 PM with "various property belonging to Mr. Sanders."

The incident is still under investigation ... but video of the alleged heist was shared via ex-NFL star Adam "Pacman" Jones.

As we previously reported, Sanders was busy getting his first snaps as an NFL pro ... taking over for fellow rookie and Browns starter Dillon Gabriel, who left the game with a concussion.

It wasn't the best outing for the former Colorado star ... throwing for 47 yards on four completed passes in the loss to the division rival.

After the game, Sanders admitted the performance was not up to his standard.

Dick Van Dyke's less than a month away from becoming a centenarian ... and he says one of the secrets to his longevity is his wife, Arlene Silver!

The actor spoke about his spouse's role in his long, long life in an excerpt from his new book "100 Rules for Living to 100" -- released on Tuesday -- and he credited Arlene with making him feel "somewhere between two-thirds and three-quarters my age," reports Fox News.

FYI ... Van Dyke and Silver met in 2006 when she was working as a makeup artist at the SAG Awards.
