A woman was shut down in her effort to obtain a restraining order against streamer Chud the Builder, TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, a woman named Yashmine Shauntea West filed a petition for a protective order against Chud in November 2025.

Yashmine claimed that Chud -- legal name Dalton Eatherly -- had committed "racial violent behavior." She said he "exposed me on social media ... has created a harassment following."

Alex Murdaugh could be staring down an even darker outcome during his retrial for murder -- because prosecutors say everything’s back on the table ... including the death penalty.

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson said Friday the state could seek the maximum punishment if Murdaugh is tried again following the shocking overturning of his murder convictions.

The bombshell ruling came after the South Carolina Supreme Court decided Murdaugh didn’t get a fair trial due to alleged jury tampering tied to former court clerk Becky Hill.

Andrew J. Moak tells TMZ ... "The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office determined that Mr. Towers acted with criminal recklessness. Given that determination, efforts to portray Mr. Towers as 'innocent' are not supported by the evidence in this case."

NBA star Miles Bridges' ex-girlfriend, Mychelle Johnson, denied she showed up at one of his games with the intention to mess with his car -- days after being hit with a temporary restraining order, TMZ has learned. 

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the Charlotte Hornets star's ex scoffed at his claims that she abandoned their kids with a nanny to drive out to his game. 

She admitted she attended his game on March 21, 2026, on Miles' birthday, because a friend of hers had an extra ticket. 

Jed Wallace is trying to breathe new life into his dismissed defamation case against Blake Lively -- because now he's appealing ... TMZ has learned.

The Arkansas mom who had her young son in the car when she led police on a high-speed chase is facing six years behind bars after a high-speed pursuit involving state police.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, a Mississippi County sheriff's deputy said he attempted to conduct a traffic stop on 23-year-old Thalia Jones, who was driving a red Dodge Challenger. 

The deputy said that turned into a chase -- with Jones allegedly driving 81 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. The report says Jones immediately sped off after he turned on his blue lights. 

Jermaine Jackson has been ordered to cough up millions to his rape accuser ... apparently without ever stepping foot in court about the case.

According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, Rita Butler Barrett obtained a default judgment against Jermaine for just over $6.5 million in damages and court costs ... years after she accused him of violently raping her in the spring of 1988. The amount also covers medical expenses Rita asserted she incurred.

The wild thing is Michael Jackson's older brother apparently never even responded to the lawsuit, hence the entry of the default judgment.

An Auburn University graduate had her life cut short by her boyfriend's dad in Alabama -- and police have now arrested the suspect for the accidental shooting, according to authorities.

Jeffrey Scott Towers, 54, was apprehended by the Trussville PD this week and charged with manslaughter after he fatally shot his son's 22-year-old partner, Whitney Robeson, police announced Monday.

Trussville detectives launched an extensive investigation and, with help from the Jefferson County coroner, determined that the March 7 shooting was an accident. As for how they came to that conclusion, the police have not yet released those details. 

In May 2025, Robeson got her degree in interior design from Auburn University, and she had just started a job as a Trade Consultant for Restoration Hardware, according to her obituary. 

Former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Lisa Wu is firing back at allegations she perpetrated a scheme to defraud her friend out of a home -- after the ex-pal filed a police report against her.

TMZ obtained a DeKalb County, Georgia police report, dated April 9, 2026, listing a woman named Norma Denise Mitchem as the victim of a theft by deception from back in November 2025.

According to the report, cops talked to a nephew of Norma, who told them Lisa and Lisa’s boyfriend, Donald Jacob, were involved in the alleged scheme to defraud Norma out of a house.
