Mobb Deep's Prodigy Our Label Got it Twisted ... They're Jacking My Solo Royalties
One half of Mobb Deep is losing money by the stacks, and he says it's all because their record label is confusing the group deal with his solo hustle.
According to the docs ... Prodigy and Mobb Deep's other member Havoc entered into a contract with Universal Music back in 1995, when it was still BMG. Under the contract, the rap duo handed over half of all profits from future albums and songs, but Prodigy says the deal did NOT cover music he made outside the group.
Prodigy says the label's continued to skim 50% of royalties from his solo projects, and songs he wrote for other artists. In all he's lost $57,489, according to the suit.
He's suing for all the money, plus his attorney fees.

Lil Wayne Hit Again with Court Judgment Stop the Bleeding!!!
Lil Wanye is getting pummeled by court judgments ... the latest by a pyrotechnics company that wants a pound of the rapper's flesh.
It seems Wayne got a bunch of fireworks from Pyrotek Special Effects for his 2013 tour, including 200 tracer comets, 92 silver gerbs, 2 white flashes with a bang, 36 propane tanks and 30 lbs of exploding powder.
Wayne didn't pay and the company sued, but they struck a settlement. Thing is ... Wayne never paid up, so the company just went back to court and got a $96k judgment.
Wayne just had $2 million worth of art seized by cops to satisfy another judgment for jet rentals.

Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas $10K For Backstage Access But You Still Gotta Buy A Ticket!!!
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas' tour is not off to a great start 'cause fans are seriously PO'ed over a $10k VIP package that doesn't even include concert tickets.
Fans sounded off on the Ultimate VIP Dressing Room Package for the Sunrise, Florida kick off date.
Truth is ... it does buy some pretty awesome rockstar access (if you can afford it) like a private backstage dressing room with your personal tour rider, visit and photos with Demi and Nick, and signed concert swag.
The package says there's access to a side stage platform during Demi and Nick's set, so if you're ok paying $10k to watch the show with crappy sound and obstructed view, you won't need to buckle down for actual tickets.
Not that those will set you back much ... tickets are already on Groupon for $30.

Todd Chrisley Sued Spare Us the Lame Excuses ... Pay Your $45k Tab!
Todd Chrisley apparently doesn't know best when it comes to paying his attorneys ... at least according to his ex-lawyers who say Todd's been ducking them for a year on a hefty bill.
Fink & Steinberg law firm says Chrisley and his wife, Julie, hired them in 2014. According to the lawsuit, F&S worked for the Chrisleys on 2 cases ... one related to an insurance matter, and the other a home Julie was going to rent.
F&S say they sent Todd a bill in November 2014 but he's dodged them ever since ... making up excuses about being too busy with his reality show, or being in the hospital with his son.
The attorneys say Todd and Julie owe more than $45,000 for services rendered. We reached out to Todd, but no word back.

Rapper Young B Ex-Manager's Trying to ... Jack My 'Love & Hip Hop' Check
Young B -- best known for her 2006 hit "Chicken Noodle Soup" -- says a former manager is extorting her for a cut of her "Love & Hip Hop: New York" dough, and he might get her tossed from the show.
The rapper says she hadn't heard from Arthur Smith in 5 years, but he recently resurfaced and threatened to sue VH1 if he didn't get 50% of her "participation fee."
B says she signed with Smith in 2006 ... when she was only 16 and "Chicken Noodle Soup" was taking off. In her lawsuit, she says that contract is void because Smith stopped meeting his management obligations long ago, and his label went under.
In other words, as Janet Jackson said ... what have you done for me lately? Young B wants the judge to declare the contract null and void.
Now, a little 'Chicken Noodle' chaser ...

Richie Sambora You Snooze, You're Gonna Lose in Court
Richie Sambora and his ex-girlfriend Nikki Lund just got socked with a big judgment in small claims court, but not because they were in the wrong ... but because they didn't bother to show up.
The short story ... two former employees sued their clothing company, Nikki Rich, because they didn't get their full salary. The employees made their case but Richie and Nikki weren't there to respond, so the judge issued default judgments for just short of $10k.
We have a strong clue on why Richie and Nikki were no-shows .... he's suing her for extortion and defamation after she allegedly tried to frame him with illegally recording a phone call.

Bindi Irwin Judge Rejects 'DWTS' Contract No Proof Her Dad Died
Bindi Irwin is caught in a tangled legal web ... her "Dancing with the Stars" contract just got rejected because a judge needs proof her dad is dead.
Lawyers for the show submitted a minor's contract to an L.A. Superior Court judge ... it's required because Bindi is 17. Her mom Terri signed a form stating she gives up all rights to any money her daughter will make on the show.
Here's the rub. For some reason the judge wants the same release from Bindi's dad, the late Steve Irwin. The judge said without proof of Steve giving up his rights to Bindi's money, "the court is unable to find that it is in the best interest of the minor to be bound by the terms of the contract."
It's unclear if the judge is unaware Steve died in 2006, or if she's just a stickler for a death certificate.
We're told lawyers for the show will do what it takes to get the judge to sign off. When she does, here's Bindi's deal:
-- a guarantee of $125k
-- by making it to weeks 3 and 4 she gets an additional $10k per week
-- week 5 gets her another $15,000
-- weeks 6 and 7 she gets $20k a week
-- weeks 8 and 9 she gets $30k a week
-- and if she makes it to 10 and 11 she gets $50,000 a week
Bindi has made it through week 8, so her total so far is $230k, and still going strong.

We're told Gwen wants to sell the house on the down-low ... it's a pocket listing where her realtor has put the word out she's looking for a buyer.
It's an impressive pad ... 9,000 square feet, 6 bedrooms and 9 baths and the requisite large pool.
As for the price ... they bought the home for $13.25 million back in 2007 ... during the height of the housing crisis. Prices have swelled so there should be millions in profits. Sources tell TMZ, the house is community property and they will split profits.
