Filipino Worker Sues Bellagio Hotel Boss Called Me Monkey! And I Have Carpal Tunnel!

Published | Updated

A former Bellagio Hotel employee from the Philippines claims she was humiliated by her boss, who told her people from her country were direct descendants from monkeys.

Vilma Miel claims in a new lawsuit she worked as a cage cashier for nearly 20 years, but it went south in 2014 when her supervisor began harassing her.

She claims the guy called her an "old woman" and said Filipinos "originated from monkeys."

Discrimination aside, she also claims she developed carpal tunnel syndrome during the 2015 Chinese New Year. She says she hopped on a flight to the Philippines to get treatment, and when she came back she was suspended and ultimately fired.

Miel is suing for discrimination based on national origin, age, and disability.

As we reported, Lapkus chose Valentine's Day to tell the world she and hubby Chris Alvarado were going their separate ways. Turns out she filed for divorce last month, and in the docs she says she's willing to write a check to Chris for $85k to settle up their community property split.

She also says in the docs, obtained by TMZ, there's no need for the court to award spousal support ... for either of them.

Kanye West Watch and Learn I'm Rich, Bitches!!!

Published | Updated

Kanye West wants to make something perfectly clear ... people in massive debt don't sip champagne in super expensive jewelry stores while eyeing ridiculously pricey watches.

Check out the pics we got inside Jacob & Co. Monday night in NYC. The store is known for watches that will set you back the price of a small house.

We don't know what Kanye bought, but he's clearly making a point that he's still flush with cash and not $53 million in debt.

'Vanderpump Rules' Star Agent Demands Cut of Raise and Wins

Published | Updated

"Vanderpump Rules" star Tom Sandoval got a sweet bump in salary, but tried to cut his old agent out of the equation ... according to docs filed by the agent.

Peter Young, the owner of STG talent agency, says he helped Tom land a 5 year contract with "Vanderpump Rules" -- but he was hardly breaking the bank. Young says Sandoval got just under $38k for the first 2 seasons. Young was supposed to get 10 percent, but says he got a paltry $1,300.

Before season 3, Tom renegotiated his 'Vanderpump' deal without using Young and said, "I just don't want to pay you anymore" ... according to the docs.

Young says he's heard Tom is making $15k per episode now -- though he doesn't know the exact amount, but since he made the original deal ... Young griped to the state labor commission that he still deserves his 10 percent.

The labor commission agreed and ordered Tom to pay up, but he's appealing the decision.

Michael Jordan & Drake Yeezy Who? Collab Shoe TRIPLES In Price

Published | Updated

Looks like Kanye West has competition in the "shoes worth selling your soul for" department ... from Michael Jordan and Drake ... whose new collab shoe is the new flavor of the month with sneakerheads.

TMZ Sports spoke with Jordan Geller, the kicks expert who owned the ShoeZeum in Las Vegas, and he says MJ and Drizzy's new Air Jordan 10 Retro OVO's are causing a leather soled frenzy.

How big of a frenzy? We're told the kicks which retailed at $225 upon release are now selling for around $1,000 bucks!!! That's over a 400% increase in value ... in less than a week.

As for why the shoes are so poppin', Geller says it's because Drake is now the biggest non-athlete Nike has in its stable, and right now THESE are the shoes hardcore collectors want.

Brace yourselves ... we feel a Twitter rant coming.

50 Cent My Creditors Are Trying to Make Me a Slave

Published | Updated

50 Cent is lashing out at some of the creditors in his bankruptcy case, telling the judge they are trying to set the clock more than 150 years and gunning to make him their slave.

Three of 50's biggest creditors -- Sleek Audio, SunTrust Bank and Lastonia Leviston -- have come up with a payback plan and are asking the judge's approval.

50 has just responded, claiming the plan violates the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which bans slavery and involuntary servitude. He says the plan would create "a near-indefinite period of involuntary indentured servitude" where he has to work solely for the creditors' benefit.

He goes on to say, "The plan conditions [50's] access to food and shelter on the whims of the trustee, who answers only to the [creditors]."

He claims it amounts to "compulsive labor" which he says is unconstitutional.

50 owes his creditors more than 30 mil.

Scott Disick I'll Dance With The Stars ... For $500k

Published | Updated

Scott Disick's considering a spot on the next season of "Dancing with the Stars" but his cha-cha and rumba don't come cheap ... $500k minimum.

Our 'DWTS' sources tell us Scott got the invite for the 22nd season. He's been asked before, but this time we're told he showed interest ... but set his price at half a mil.

We're told the 'DWTS' honcho who called Scott said there was a strict policy to pay everyone the same amount ... although we're told that's just not the case. Scott was offered $125k guarantee and if he made it to the finals he'd get $345k.

At this point we're told there's an impasse ... Scott is not budging from his price.

Lamar Odom I Have Designs on Kris Jenner and Faye Resnick

Published | Updated

Lamar Odom just got a multi-millionaire to decorate his new home ... his mother-in-law.

We've learned Kris Jenner spent Valentine's Day at a gigantic furniture warehouse and she was there on a mission ... to furnish the Calabasas home Khloe leased for him.

Kris brought a designer along who is famous in her own right, though not necessarily for interior decorating ... Faye Resnick, most famous for being Nicole Brown Simpson's best friend. To be fair, she's also a decorator who has worked with Paris Hilton and other celebs.

Kris and Faye went to HD Buttercup in Culver City with a budget of $65k ... based on what we know it appears Khloe foot the bill. They shopped for 4 1/2 hours and bought a bunch of stuff.

Kanye West $53 Million Is Accurate But It's NOT Debt

Published | Updated

The answer to that $53 million question -- how the hell is Kanye West that deep in debt -- is that he isn't, but he does spend a ton ... on himself.

Sources connected to Kanye tell TMZ the number -- $53 mil -- reflects how much dough 'Ye has invested in his own companies related to fashion and music. For instance, we're told he's sunk $40 million alone into 3 seasons worth of Yeezy fashion!

Yeezy shoes are all the rage now, but we're told Kanye didn't get a dime from Nike when he created the first gen of the shoe. He funded the design out of his own pocket.

Additionally, we're told he spent several hundred thousands to build sets for his last tour, and to make his 2012 short film, "Cruel Summer."

The good news for Kanye is he'll make back his investment because he earns like crazy -- $22 million in 2015 and $30 million in 2014, according to Forbes.

Bottom line, no one's turning off his lights.

Jerry Seinfeld I'd Like to Sell You Some Used Cars For $28 Million

Published | Updated

Jerry Seinfeld's car collection is about to turn into big, big money for the comedian ... he plans to unload 18 of them for more than $28 million!

We're told Jerry doesn't have the time to drive all of his cars -- his Porsche collection alone is 47 strong -- so he's using the services of Gooding & Company Auction to streamline his fleet.

Jerry's 1973 Porsche 917/30 CanAm Spyder is expected to fetch $7 million. The 1955 550 Spyder should go for around $6 mil.

The cars hit the auction block March 11 at the Amelia Island auction in Florida.

Rob Kardashian Blac Chyna's Inspired Me To Become a Mogul

We've learned Rob filed legal docs to expand production on his Arthur George sock line to include belts, booties, coats, dresses, gloves, headwear, jackets, leggings, tuxedos, swimwear and underwear.

The timing is interesting ... Rob and Chyna began hooking up in January ... days before the docs were filed. It looks like Blac Chyna has been an inspiration for Rob on several fronts.

Rob has nursed his sock company along for years, but now he's going full bore.

Hey ... she's not bad for advertising.

Playboy Mansion Last Grammy Dance In the Grotto?

Published | Updated

Diddy will be holding court at the Playboy Mansion right after the Grammys ... and there's a decent chance it will be the last party of its kind at the legendary spot.

Anyone can attend the charity event called the City Gala -- for a $1,500 minimum donation -- where Sir Richard Branson and ex Playboy covergirl Jane Seymour will share the stage with host Diddy.

Aside from an open bar and a buffet, you can also catch a celeb poker game with Carl Weathers, John Salley, Tito Ortiz and Omar Benson Miller.

Remember, the Bunny palace is now on the market ... so it's possible it won't be owned by a party animal like Hugh Hefner when the 2017 Grammys roll around.

Ticket to hang with celebs -- $1,500.

Epic party memories (in the Grotto, if you dare) -- priceless.

Charlie Sheen My Maybach Is Fit For The Pope ... But Could Be Yours

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen's unloading an old Maybach on eBay -- and Prez Obama and the Pope might think about bidding because the whip's BULLETPROOF ... and not cheap.

Charlie's black 2009 Maybach Landaulet 62S was just listed for a mere $200. Before you get too excited, the buy-it-now price is much higher -- $325,000.

Still, it could go for way less than a new one. Base price for a Maybach 62 (built to order, of course) is $400k.

Charlie's reason for dumping the whip is cryptic -- "Done dodging bullets. An expired fear mongering caucus lost their vote."

What's far more clear ... after 7 years in service of Charlie, the thing's gotta be partyproof, as well as bulletproof.

RZA Good Luck Suing Me! I Didn't Sell Wu Fan Art to Shkreli

Published | Updated

RZA already has his defense against the fan who's suing him for stealing artwork and selling it to Martin Shkreli, and it goes something like this -- I deal music, man ... not portraits!

TMZ broke the story ... artist Jason Koza thinks RZA jacked fan art Koza created for a Wu-Tang Clan blog, and then slipped it into the "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" album ... which Shkreli bought for $2 million.

Koza wants a cut of the profit since his art is part of the album, but RZA says there's NO profit on a "gift."

Check out RZA, Esq. presenting his case.

Kanye West I Paid the Extras at My Show ... That Kid's Full of It

Published | Updated

Kanye West's hired hands at his Yeezy Season 3 debut were all fed, paid and dressed for the gig -- and his camp is firing back at the extra who claims otherwise.

The accuser, who goes by "kurents" on IG, went on a rant ... claiming he didn't get a dime for his work as an extra, and that Yeezy dressed everybody in hand-me-downs.

However, a rep for Kanye tells us extras got a daily rate and received a meal ticket for lunch. While the hours were long for the gig, we're told the majority of the crew was thrilled to be in the show.

A source close to the production tells TMZ all models were dressed in Yeezy Season 3 gear, but because of the large number of participants ... some extras were in vintage clothing that had been dyed for the production. We're told they were paid $10/hr.

Our source says everyone involved in the show had to sign a very strict NDA, so it's a little fishy the "kurents" guy is so chatty.
