Tony Romo might've given up off -season golf to rehab his ailing back, but that OTHER football? Not so much -- cause TMZ Sports has video of the Cowboys QB kickin' it hard on the soccer field.

Richard Sherman is not easily impressed ... but the NFL superstar had to pick his jaw off the ground after an encounter with a legendary leg muscle that blew his mind!!!

The quad belongs to strength and conditioning stud Mike Barwis -- who famously trains some of the top athletes in the world including Ndamukong Suh and UFC stud Rashad Evans.

Barwis -- whose new show "American Muscle" debuts on Discovery on July 9th -- was kickin' Sherman's ass at his training center in Detroit recently when the Seahawks DB came into contact with Mike's leg.

It's 4th of July weekend ... so what better way to celebrate than with the New England Patriots cheerleaders ... in bikinis!!!

The gang recently hit up Cancun for a 2015 calendar shoot ... where someone broke out a potato sack for some bikini beach racing!

SHOTS FIRED AT CHAD OCHOCINCO ... and the woman pulling the trigger is his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada!!!

The "Basketball Wives" star -- who happens to be engaged to L.A. Dodgers superstar Carl Crawford -- was hangin' at GNC at the Beverly Center ... when we asked to see the massive 14.5 carat diamond ring he gave her back in December.

That's when Evelyn flashed the ring ... and a little bit of sass ... taking aim at the puny 10 carat rock Chad gave her back in 2010.

The transsexual who claims she had an affair with Kendra Wilkinson's husband Hank Baskett called the cops on reporters who she claims are now stalking and harassing her.

Cops came to Ava London's L.A. condo late last week to physically remove members of the media who she claims were trying to drum her out of her unit by banging at her door. She says the reporters were trying to buy surveillance video from the building manager, to see if Baskett ever showed up.

London's lawyer also claims some outlets are making up stories. He cites In Touch magazine, which claims to have interviewed London. The lawyer said that never happened and is threatening to sue.

Baskett has been mum.

Marion Barber III -- former Dallas Cowboys running back -- was arrested in Texas yesterday ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

According to police records, Barber was arrested just after 8PM on Sunday night -- and he's being held for "mental detention and observation."

Where there's smoke, there's a brand new celeb couple -- Aaron Rodgers and "Newsroom" star Olivia Munn ... who kissed each other in public this weekend, proving the dating rumors are apparently TRUE.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback was cuddling up with Munn -- who's been on the cover of everything from Maxim to Shape and even Playboy -- on the L.A. set of Munn's HBO show.

In yet another attempt to prove everything is cool between them, Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his wife Janay posed for a couply, non-violent photo together on Instagram.

Janay -- who previously apologized for her role in allegedly getting K.O.'d in an Atlantic City casino -- included the message, "We gon show the world the definition of real #therices #usagainsttheworld."

Of course, Ray & Janay were arrested back in February after an alleged physical altercation at the Revel casino ... and cameras captured Ray dragging Janay's unconscious body out of an elevator.

Just last month, the two addressed the media and said they felt counseling after the incident has helped them grow closer as a couple.

Ray Rice and his wife Janay Palmer just addressed the media TOGETHER -- both expressing regret for the violent incident at a NJ casino back in February.

Ray spoke first ... apologizing to the Ravens ... and adding, "I also want to apologize to my fans, to the kids, to anyone who's affected by this situation that me and my wife were in."

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has struck a deal with prosecutors that could keep him out of jail for allegedly KOing his then-fiance in an Atlantic City casino ... but there's one big catch.

Rice was accepted into a pretrial intervention program on Tuesday -- a program that allows defendants to avoid prosecution pending the completion of a specific set of rehabilitative conditions.

Officials wouldn't give any specific details on Rice's program -- only saying that it will last one year ... and he MUST stay out of trouble during the course of the PTI.

If he can satisfy those requirements, prosecutors will drop the 3rd degree aggravated assault charge.

Rice's attorney told ESPN, "We're very happy with the result. We're glad that the court and the prosecutor's office agreed PTI was the appropriate disposition for the case."

As we previously reported, Rice was arrested on February 15 after allegedly beating up Janay Palmer (who he later married) at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

TMZ Sports published video showing Rice dragging Palmer's unconscious body out of a casino elevator ... but Rice's attorney insisted there was more to the story than meets the eye.

NY Jets defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman is under investigation for allegedly SLAPPING a woman at a New Jersey restaurant earlier this week ... this according to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports ... and we obtained photos taken during the heated exchange.

8:44 AM PT -- Wes just responded to the story ... telling Churchill Downs if they want the money back, "Get in line!"

Welker made the comment on "The Dan Patrick Show" -- explaining that he heard about the overpayment, but didn't have any sense of what he should have been paid out at the time of the transaction.

"They could have underpaid us and we wouldn't have known."

Wes Welker left the Kentucky Derby with nearby $15,000 more than he should have ... thanks to a machine malfunction ... and now Churchill Downs is demanding he give the money back, stat ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Kev was limping around L.A. the other night -- still recovering after the injury he suffered during a game of catch with the Seattle Seahawks QB in between takes.

And when we asked who's to blame for the break, Kev pointed the finger right at Russell -- "I know he's the Super Bowl champion, but it wasn't a great pass."

Kev says he caught the ball -- because he's a friggin' playmaker -- but says, "It was a bad pass, I'm not gonna lie."

Michael Sam is getting the Lindsay Lohan treatment ... as in, the openly gay football player is getting his own reality show on Oprah's TV network ... reps at OWN confirm.

The show -- produced by the same people who did Lindsay's show -- will chronicle Sam's journey into the NFL ... and we're told Sam has already been taping the show for weeks.

In fact, we're told Oprah's crew was in the room when Sam learned he had been drafted by the St. Louis Rams ... and clearly knew his big celebratory kiss with his BF would make for great reality television.

Oprah issued a statement saying, "We are honored that Michael is trusting us with his private journey in this moment that has not only made history but will shape it forever."

Rice appeared in court in New Jersey moments ago -- with his lawyer and his wife Janay Palmer by his side -- stemming from an incident at the Revel Casino.

TMZ Sports posted footage showing Rice dragging an unconscious Palmer out of an elevator that night before he was arrested for aggravated assault.

Prosecutors reportedly offered Rice a plea deal -- which includes probation and NO jail time if he completes an anger management class. Rice has not officially accepted the deal.

Rice is due back in court on May 29th.

Terrell Owens says he's ready to do "bigger and better things with his life" -- and step one is becoming first black "Bachelor" so he can score his "special someone."

Owens was doing a video session on "Hang w/" alongside “Celebrity Apprentice” co-stars Ian Ziering and Lorenzo Lamas ... who both suggested T.O. could be the perfect man for the ABC show.

"You heard that? From two white guys! I should be 'The Bachelor!' Holla back!"

Ya gotta watch Terrell sell himself as a the ultimate catch -- "I'm a guy of good taste, quality ... I've had my share of women, so to speak."
