President Donald Trump thinks it’s time Erika Kirk steps into her late husband’s role … on a board of the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Trump added Erika to the Board of Visitors … filling the seat Charlie Kirk held before he was shot and killed.

White House spokesperson Olivia Wales said in a statement that Erika’s the “perfect choice” to “continue his legacy.”

She thinks the widow will be “a fearless advocate for the most elite airpower force in the history of the world whose warriors keep our Nation safe, strong, and free.”

According to the board’s charters and bylaws, the BoV sends advice and recommendations to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth regarding “the morale, discipline, social climate, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, and other matters” of the USAFA.

The charter also says that any board members appointed by the President -- and he gets to pick 6 of them -- will serve 3-year terms.

But if a member dies, their replacement will only serve “the unexpired portion of the term.”

President Donald Trump initially blamed Iran for last month's attack on an Iranian elementary school, but now that a preliminary inquiry reportedly determined the U.S. to be at fault ... he says he doesn't know anything about the strike.

While meeting with the press Wednesday outside the White House, Trump was asked about the ongoing military investigation, which is reportedly holding the U.S. responsible for the Tomahawk missile strike.

When asked if he personally took responsibility, Trump answered, "For what?"

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi was quietly moved to a Washington D.C. military base after receiving threats from drug cartels and people pissed about her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, according to the New York Times.

Bondi was relocated from her regular D.C. residence within the past month after federal law enforcement alerted her staff about the threats, the paper reported, citing sources familiar with the situation. 

The NYT says Bondi saw an uptick in the threats after the arrest and capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by U.S Delta Forces in January.

Alina Habba, the former acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, quietly divorced her husband and moved to a Florida home near President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago.

The former Trump lawyer filed to divorce her second husband Gregg Reuben last month in New Jersey ... and the divorce was quickly settled ... according to the Daily Mail.

Alina and Gregg got hitched back on New Year's Eve 2020 in New Jersey ... but they did not have any children together.

Colin Jost played Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in a mock press briefing, casually informing reporters that Noem had been "reassigned under the bus." Moments later, Ashley Padilla strutted in as Noem to set the record straight.

"I just want to make it clear that I didn't get fired," she insisted. "I self-deported."

Gavin Newsom is pouring one out for Kristi Noem ... trolling the outgoing Homeland Security Secretary over her firing.

The California Governor gave a nod to Noem's ouster Thursday with a social media post ... an "In Memoriam" of sorts for Noem's short stint as President Trump's DHS Secretary.

Newsom's post features a slideshow of Noem photos playing to a version of Sarah McLachlan's famous song, "I Will Remember You." It says "IN MEMORIAM KRISTI NOEM 2025 - 2026" and later "IT WAS THE BEST WORST OF TIMES."

Kristi Noem was a terrible Homeland Security chief who cared more about her looks than doing her damn job ... so say Meghan McCain and Tomi Lahren.

The conservative commentators bashed Noem shortly after President Donald Trump announced she would no longer run DHS ... instead moving her to the position of "Special Envoy for The Shield of Americas."

First up, McCain questioned the massive $220 million advertising campaign DHS paid for ... pointing out an episode of "Game of Thrones" cost HBO far less to produce -- and federal investigators should look into where that money went.

President Trump sounds like he got to say his two favorite words ... "You're fired!" ... and the person on the receiving end this time is Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Trump is firing Noem and replacing her with Oklahoma GOP Senator Markwayne Mullin ... according to a Trump post on his social media platform Truth Social.

Employees at a Michigan Smoothie King refused to serve a Donald Trump supporter and his wife ... and the contentious argument between the smoothie makers and their would-be customers is all on video.

Check it out -- Erika Lindemyer recorded the tense encounter at the shop in Ann Arbor on March 1 ... she argues with a woman behind the counter, calling her refusal illegal discrimination. 4 AM PST -- The White House is mocking Kesha for blasting their use of her song "Blow" alongside a video of a fighter jets obliterating a ship.

Steven Cheung, White House Communications Director, tweeted ... "All these 'singers' keep falling for this. This just gives us more attention and more view counts to our videos because people want to see what they’re bitching about."

Furthermore, Kaelan Dorr, White House Deputy Communications Director chimed in ... "Kesha quotes are like Popeye’s Spinach to this team ... Memes? They’ll continue. Winning? Will also continue."

Kesha is ripping President Trump and the White House for using one of her songs in a social media post, she says, incites violence and threatens war.

Here's the deal ... the official White House posted a video on TikTok on Feb. 10 that shows a military plane blowing up a ship ... all while Kesha's "Blow" plays.

Seems Kesha just got hip to the post, because on Monday she ripped the White House for using her music and said she does "NOT approve of [her] music being used to promote violence of any kind."

Deon Cole had the crowd cracking up during his opening bit at the NAACP Image Awards over the weekend, where he took aim at Nicki Minaj in a mock prayer that quickly went off the rails.

Cole began the bit Saturday night by saying, "Lord, we want you to bless our sister, Nicki Minaj," before suggesting she's "been going through a lot lately" and "hasn't been herself." Then he dropped the punchline ... joking that whatever's "in her ass is affecting her brain" and asking the Lord to "take it out."

Cameras caught audience members laughing and smiling as Cole delivered the joke preacher style, fully committing to the bit during what many online are already calling a controversial opening segment.
