Chip Kelly's unemployment didn't last long ... the ex-Eagles coach just got hired by the San Francisco 49ers!

Kelly got the ax from Philly in week 16 ... after missing the playoffs and jettisoning several marquee players including LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson.

But now, the 49ers have officially announced Chip is coming to San Fran ... with CEO Jed York tweeting, "After a thorough search, Trent & I are thrilled to announce Chip Kelly as the new #HeadCoach of the @49ers."

Barack Obama just got a big Maize and Blue stamp of approval for his State of the Union speech -- with Jim Harbaugh telling TMZ Sports, "The President hit it out of the park!"

Harbaugh and his wife were sitting inside the House of Representatives chamber when Obama gave his speech Tuesday night -- as special guests of Congressman Justin Amash (R-Mich).

After the speech, we asked Coach H for his take -- it's clear, he's a HUGE fan!

The San Francisco 49ers booted a fan and his service dog from Levi's Stadium which made the fan have a seizure ... according to the lawsuit he's now filed against the team.

James Hilburn says he and his Alaskan malamute, Bear, had no problems entering the Niners-Cardinals game on November 29 -- the ticket taker let them in, no questions asked. In his suit, Hilburn says he suffers myoclonic dystonia ... which causes seizures. Bear is trained to alert him and people nearby when one is about to hit.

In the lawsuit, James says once he entered the staidum, police and security guards surrounded him and said Bear was not allowed to be there -- and the stressful situation triggered a seizure.

TMZ Sports obtained video Hilburn's friend shot, and you can hear Bear yelping a warning. Police and stadium staff attempted to get a shuttle to pick them up, but Hilburn declined. He did end up suffering, and had to be hospitalized, according to his lawyer Mark Thomas.

Hilburn wants the team to pay for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We reached out to the 49ers who told us they do not comment on pending litigation.

Russell Wilson continues to prove he's the greatest guy in the world ... auctioning off his game worn cleats from the Seahawks' victory over the 49ers last month to aid in the fight against children's cancer.

Wilson announced the donation on Twitter moments ago ... with a message that read, "Had a tough time letting go of these...auctioning my game worn cleats from our win over SF to fight childhood cancer."

The Seahawks beat the 49ers 20-3 on October 22nd ... Russell made sure to scribble in the date and score on the shoes.

The cleats are already ON FIRE on eBay ... fetching a price of nearly $900 with seven days of bidding still left to go, which tells you they're going to net a big sum when all is said and done.

Jerry Rice has a solution for the 49ers' woes this season ... BENCHING COLIN KAEPERNICK ... saying giving the QB some temporary pine time might be just the wake up call he needs.

Look, it's no secret Kaep isn't playing his best ball -- and with the 49ers nursing a 2-5 record, something needs to be done to get the team back on track.

Jerry made it crystal clear he SUPPORTS Colin and still thinks he's incredibly talented -- but says something drastic needs to happen if there's any hope of saving the season.

"I am a true Kaepernick fan. 100%. I'm not saying bench him for the season, but sometimes you gotta shake things up. It could energize the team, and provide Colin the spark he needs."

Rice says he knows from experience that Kaep needs support from the vets to break out of his funk.

"Look, when I came in, I struggled. I dropped balls. And I wasn't used to that. But I had great people around me, and I got through it."

Overall, Rice says ... you can't just point the finger at #7, everyone needs to step up their game.

"The 9'ers aren't a cohesive group right now. They're making way too many mistakes. It's not only Kaepernick, there's plenty of blame to go around."

Sinkhole, Schminkhole ... the San Francisco 49ers aren't sweating that crater that opened up on the football field last weekend -- telling TMZ Sports it "happens all the time in football" ... so, no big deal.

You know the story ... Ravens kicker Justin Tucker missed a 45 yard field goal after the Levi's Stadium ground crumbled under his plant foot ... causing some to doubt the quality of the field.

Who's not concerned? The 49ers -- 'cause a rep for the team tells us issues like Justin Tucker mystery hole -- which he insists is NOT a sinkhole -- are just a part of the game.

"I ensure you this type of thing happens all the time in football," a team spokesman told us, "with around 140 plays, the ground loosens up with wear and tear."

Passengers flying over the Bay Area, relax ... your plane is NOT in any danger from the San Francisco 49ers' bright stadium lights ... so says the Federal Aviation Administration.

According to recent reports, pilots have been "incapacitated" by Levi's Stadium's ultra-bright lights ... putting the lives of passengers at risk.

FLAT OUT B.S. if you ask the FAA -- the US aviation regulatory agency -- which tells TMZ Sports the reports are "very misleading."

"We got fewer than a half dozen complaints about a year ago. We're unaware of any since December, 2014" ... an FAA rep told us.

The agency says the people at Levis Stadium quickly addressed the issue ... "They now communicate with us before using the scoreboard or lights. We then send alerts out to the pilots on a regular basis. There is no danger."

In fact, the FAA issued the following statement:

"Last year, a few pilots reported being distracted or confused by bright lights from the Levi Stadium scoreboard. Most of the reports appeared to be related to scoreboard testing and calibration, when the equipment was illuminated more brightly than normal.

The FAA relayed these concerns to the stadium operator, which agreed to provide the FAA with advance notice of all scoreboard testing and not to test or calibrate it at night during scheduled airfield hours.

Additionally, pilots are alerted that they can expect bright lights whenever they’re flying near the stadium through Notices to Airmen, the San Jose International Airport facility directory and recorded information on the airport’s pilot information system.

FAA and stadium officials also speak multiple times before every game, concert or other event to discuss any event-specific alerts that may need to be issued.

Aldon Smith's arrest Friday was his last straw with the San Francisco 49ers ... they've cut him.

8:45 AM PT -- Aldon just got sprung after posting the $26k bail.

49ers superstar Aldon Smith is in a familiar place, and it ain't training camp -- he's in jail after getting busted for hit and run and DUI.

The oft-arrested Smith is sitting in jail after Santa Clara police hauled him in early Friday morning. He's being held on $26,000 bail.

We know he's been booked for DUI, hit and run, and also vandalism. It's still unclear exactly what went down leading up to the arrest.

This is Smith's second DUI -- the first was in 2013 -- and he was also hit with weapons charges in 2012. He served 12 days in jail in 2014. The NFL suspended him for 9 games last season.

If Colin Kaepernick is "truly remorseful" about the stupid, insensitive comments he made about Houston floods -- he should let his wallet do the talking and DONATE ... so say reps for the Mayor of Houston.

After the 49ers quarterback apologized for mocking the deadly floods on social media yesterday, we reached out to the office of Mayor Annise Parker for comment.

Her press secretary was straight and to the point:

"Anything Colin Kaepernick said isn't really of concern to us. We're focusing on what's going on here. We still have rain coming. We're focused on getting our residents what they need."

"He apologized. I'm sure he is sorry for what he did, so he is forgiven. This is too serious a situation to hold a grudge."

"If he is truly remorseful, he can donate to our food bank, to the Red Cross. Any of those avenues."

Colin Kaepernick is begging for forgiveness after putting up an incredibly stupid Instagram post that poked fun at the devastation caused by the floods that have been ravaging the city of Houston.

The 49ers QB -- who wears #7 -- has a catchphrase he's been using on social media for months ... "7tormsComing."

And earlier today, he posted a pic showing Houston under water with the caption, "I warned you the 7tormsComing! #Houston #PrayersUp."

By the way, at least 13 people have reportedly died in the storm.

Ex "Basketball Wives" star Gloria Govan is so over the rumors about her and Colin Kaepernick ... she's now addressing them -- and wants everyone to know the 49ers QB never crossed her end zone.

Gloria was at the "So Sexy L.A." party at SKYBAR in West Hollywood Thursday night ... when our photog asked about her estranged hubby, Clippers star Matt Barnes, and his very public hatred of Kaepernick.

Just a few weeks ago, Barnes called Kaep "a hoe" on Instagram -- which is why our guy asked Gloria if she knew what was behind the beef.

Watch ... Gloria took the ball and ran, first telling us -- "There's been a bunch of different rumors" about her and Colin hooking up. But she says, "I've never had a thing with Colin Kaepernick."

Double G seems to think fans blame her for their feud, but she tells us it's something else altogether.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Terry Crews knows what it takes to make the jump from the NFL to Hollywood ... and he STRONGLY believes 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is primed to follow in his famous footsteps.

For the record, Davis has been making a serious push into acting -- recently starring as "Captain Torpedo" in a short film that made it to the final 10 in HBO's "Project Greenlight" competition.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks has been accused of sexually assaulting a passed out woman at a then-teammate's home ... according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

The woman making the allegations is the same woman who previously claimed she was raped by Ray McDonald ... a former 49ers defensive end who now plays for the Chicago Bears.

McDonald had sued the woman for defamation ... after the San Jose PD investigated the allegations but dropped the case due to insufficient evidence.

Now, the woman is firing back in the defamation lawsuit -- claiming she believes there is SURVEILLANCE VIDEO from the night in question ... which shows part of the alleged sexual assault.

According to the docs obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman says on December 14th, 2014 she was at McDonald's home and slipped and fell on the deck around his swimming pool, knocking herself unconscious for more than 8 minutes.

While she was blacked out, the woman claims the video will show McDonald's friend Brooks "groped her person in a sexual manner."

She claims McDonald then carried her up to his bedroom where he had sex with her ... without her consent.

The woman -- who hired Gloria Allred as her attorney in the matter -- is going after McDonald for assault and battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress. Ditto for Brooks. She and Allred just held a news conference to talk about the case.

We've reached out to Brooks for comment -- so far, no word back.

Colin Kaepernick has a new enemy -- L.A. Clippers star Matt Barnes ... who just fired a shot at the QB on social media ... and sources tell us the animosity is very real.

Barnes went on Instagram to congratulate Arik Armstead on being drafted by the SF 49ers last night ... and wrote, "Congrats to my young boy #ErikArmstead [sic] proud of you fam. Ur QB a hoe tho!!"

Clearly, the message was directed at Colin.

Multiple sources close to Matt tell us the beef with Kaepernick goes back several years -- and stems from a situation where Matt felt "disrespected" by Colin.

As one source extremely close to Barnes puts it -- "Matt hates his guts."

Soooo ... Reggie Bush is in pretty good shape.

The SF 49ers running back showed off his physique on the way out of Heart & Hustle gym in West Hollywood ... an insane high performance celebrity training center.

On the way out, Bush showed off his $400k Lamborghini ... told us if he's going to Matt Stafford's wedding ... and talked about whether he could beat Colin Kaepernick in a footrace.

But the bottom line here ... dude's jacked.
