DON'T THINK IT'S HIM

'SNL' Alum Chris Redd is speaking out about getting assaulted in NYC three years ago -- and he's ruling out as a suspect his ex-pal -- Kenan Thompson -- in the unsolved case.

Chris was in New York City on Wednesday night when a photog asked him about someone socking him in the face outside the Comedy Store in Manhattan's Greenwich Village in 2022.

Despite rumors Kenan was behind the assault, Redd says, "No, Kenan did not hit me. People took it like Kenan hit me ... he didn’t hit me, no." The NYPD tells us they haven't arrested anyone and the investigation is ongoing.

You may recall, Chris and Kenan were friends and costars on 'SNL' from 2017 to 2022, but their relationship soured over Kenan's ex-wife, Christina Evangeline. Chris previously said Christina helped him through a rough period during his pill addiction, and they had formed a romantic bond. That drove a wedge between Chris and Kenan.

In Tuesday's video, Chris related while he was on "Saturday Night Live," he was dealing with some pill issues -- brushing it off as "nothing too crazy for my Black a**" -- but he confesses he was selling some to his castmates.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Redd cracked he’d never snitch on anyone ... but then he got serious, admitting he was having panic attacks while people stood by and watched him spiral. He said Christina was the only one who stepped in, calling him out on his "s***" and actually helping him deal with it.

Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande are proving the naysayers wrong, 'cause Ethan was making himself comfy in Ari's 'SNL' green room as she hosted Saturday night's show!

Ari's former Nickelodeon co-star and bestie -- Liz Gillies -- posted a series of pics backstage at the 'SNL' taping ... and in one, Ethan is seen sitting alongside Liz on the couch -- showing ongoing breakup rumors are a bunch of BS.

Rob Reiner 'SNL' Pays Tribute During Final Episode of the Year

Published

During its final episode of the year, "Saturday Night Live" paused to pay tribute to late producer Rob Reiner ... flashing a title card with an old photo of Rob before the show's "goodnight" segment.

The in memoriam gesture comes less than a week after Reiner and his wife -- Michele Singer Reiner -- were found dead in their Los Angeles home. Their son -- Nick Reiner -- is now facing first-degree murder charges after being arrested in connection with their deaths.

Reiner hosted SNL’s third episode back in 1975 during the show’s early days ... and unlike hosts George Carlin and Paul Simon at the time, he fully joined in the sketches ... helping set the style that would forever define the series.

As we reported, the couple's daughter, Romy, is the one who discovered Rob and Michele's bodies and called 911. She told police her brother Nick was "dangerous" and should be considered a suspect.

Bowen Yang Teary-Eyed In Emotional Final 'SNL' Sketch ...With Help from Ariana Grande, Cher

Published | Updated

Bowen Yang bawled like a baby during his final "Saturday Night Live" sketch, hours after confirming he was moving on from the show.

Check out his touching final scene -- he plays a Delta One Lounge employee working his last shift, an obvious parallel to his real-life situation. He gets a phone call from Ariana Grande, and they reminisce about all the "eggnog" he's made over the years ... another obvious parallel to the sketches he's contributed to over this 7-year run on the show. He and Ariana then break out into song, dueting Charles Brown's 1960 song "Please Come Home for Christmas."

His "Wicked" co-star then joins him right before he breaks down in tears, saying how much he loved working at the Delta One Lounge. He raves ... "I just feel so lucky that I ever got to work here, and I just wanted to enjoy it for a little bit longer. Especially the people. I've loved every single person who works here, because they've done so much for me, especially my boss."

'Saturday Night Live' Takes Jabs at Trump's 'Patriot Games' ... And Epstein Files Redaction

Published | Updated

"Saturday Night Live" is once again parodying President Donald Trump -- this time, taking jabs at his recent holiday speech that included the announcement of his "Patriot Games" ... in light of the Jeffrey Epstein files dropping Friday.

James Austin Johnson opens the show in his famed Trump attire, standing in front of an identical fireplace as 47 was late last week ... and immediately mocks his 'Hunger Games' idea. He says, "What’s the best way to distract from the Epstein files? I know, invite a bunch of teenagers to my house!" As you know, his "Patriot Games" is meant to showcase elite high school athletes.

The actor took another shot at Trump by criticizing his name being added to the Kennedy Center, saying in character ... "People are saying, 'Why are you putting your name on so many buildings?’ And I say it’s because we had to take it off of so many files, Epstein redacted. We had so many Trumps in there!”

This likely references the suspicion that several files -- at least 16 files, according to AP -- have gone MIA from the Justice Department’s Epstein Files drop from Friday. This reportedly includes a snapshot of Trump and images that show a painting depicting nude women.

Internet sleuths caught on to the allegedly vanished pic of Trump earlier Saturday, and Democrats on the House Oversight Committee publicly questioned Attorney General Pam Bondi about it. So far, no word back ...

Bowen Yang has confirmed his exit from "Saturday Night Live."

He gushed over his time in the show, penning ... "I loved working at SNL, and most of all i loved the people. i was there at a time when many things in the world started to seem futile, but working at 30 rock taught me the value in showing up anyway when people make it worthwhile."

Bowen goes on to reflect on how much he has learned about himself and others during his 7-year run on the show. He then personally thanks all the friends and coworkers who have contributed to his successful run -- and even "ari" -- who we assume is Ariana Grande, considering she's pictured in his post -- "for sending [him] off in the dreamiest way [he] could imagine."

Saturday Night Live Colin Jost Pokes Fun At Jeffrey Epstein For His Brace-Face 'Girlfriends'

Published | Updated

“Saturday Night Live" dipped its toe into the Jeffrey Epstein Island scandal that blew up last week, and one of the jokes took a direct swing at the late pedophile ... roasting him for having "girlfriends" young enough to still be wearing braces.

As you know, the House Oversight Committee dropped a trove of never-before-seen photos and videos from Epstein's private island in the Virgin Islands, and the footage is as creepy as you'd expect. A camera operator walks through the property, showing off the mansion, the bedroom, the bathroom ... the whole unsettling tour.

But there's one photo everyone's talking about ... a giant room that looks straight out of a dentist's office, complete with a dental chair and bizarre old man masks lining the walls.

"Saturday Night Live" came out swinging this weekend, enlisting James Austin Johnson's impeccable Donald Trump impression to lambast the president over this week's new Jeffrey Epstein bombshells.

JAJ joked as Trump, "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to release all the Epstein files ... this is great. Each file will be on sale for the low, low price of $800."

The sketch -- set at a White House press conference -- surrounds the recent trove of emails linking Trump and Epstein, which came from the Epstein estate.

Pete Davidson & Colin Jost Joke They're 'Losing Millions' Over Ferry Fiasco

Published

Pete Davidson and Colin Jost turned their infamous Staten Island Ferry drama into comedy gold on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend ... poking fun at the "money-losing fiasco" that's been haunting them since 2022.

The duo, who bought the decommissioned ferry with plans to turn it into a floating entertainment venue, reunited at the "Weekend Update" desk, and Pete wasted no time roasting their investment. "So yeah, in case you're wondering why I had to do a show in Saudi Arabia ... we're losing millions on this ferry," he joked.

Pete, who's expecting his first child, added, "I assume that's what the article says; I can’t spend $5 on a paywall when I got a kid on the way." He also quipped, "I'm just excited to be a dad and give it all the energy and enthusiasm I never had for this show."
