The Kardashian family is expanding their massive empire ... and soon you won't be able to eat, sleep or use the bathroom without a Kardashian in your life.

TMZ has learned ... the K-gang has filed documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to use the name "Kardashian Kollection Home" on an upcoming product line.

According to the documents, the Kardashians plan to use the trademark on everything from bath mats, to hand towels, pillow covers, sheets, golf towels, football towels, linens candlesticks and even beer mugs!!!

The K-squad also wants to use the name on flatware, kitchen knives, picture frames and window blinds too.

One night after celebrating her 31st birthday in New York City, Kim Kardashian -- along with hubby Kris Humphries, sister Khloe, brother-in-law Lamar Odom, and BFF Mark Ballas -- brought the party to Marquee nightclub in Las Vegas.

Kim Kardashian had plenty of reason to celebrate last night in New York with hubby Kris Humphries -- not only was it her 31st birthday, but news broke she'll have a big role in the next Tyler Perry movie, "The Marriage Counselor."

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are NOT on the verge of a split ... not even close ... despite several screaming magazine covers and websites SWEARING they're headed for divorce.

In fact, TMZ has learned the newest story making the rounds -- about Kris supposedly getting booted out of their NYC pad -- is just another steaming pile of BS.

Multiple sources who are extremely close to the couple tell us they were simply getting some boxes together for the newlyweds' big move back to L.A. ... together.

The couple had been living out of NYC's swagtastic Gansevoort Hotel for a couple months while Kim shot her new reality show "Kim and Kourtney Take New York" -- and yesterday, it was finally time to move out.

As for Kris' lack of wedding ring -- we're told the guy just isn't a fan of jewelry.

The Kardashian clan says they were completely blindsided when Michelle Obama revealed that Barack doesn't like when their daughters watch their reality show ... insisting the President has them pegged all wrong.

The K-squad is telling friends ... they read Michelle's new interview with iVillage ... in which she said, "Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians -- when they watch that stuff -- he doesn't like that as much."

We're told the Kardashians were "surprised" by the news ... because Obama personally told Khloe he thought "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was a "great show" when they met last year.

In fact, the Kardashians believe Sasha and Malia could actually LEARN something from the show ... because it features girls in real-life situations facing real-life problems ... health, relationships, the whole gamut.

As for why Khloe was even invited to the White House ... she tagged along with her Lakers star husband Lamar Odom, who was invited to celebrate his 2010 NBA Finals victory.

Kim Kardashian has finally found the one article of clothing she doesn't already have ... a little black burqa.

While normally clad in form-fitting dresses, the reality diva hit the local shops of Dubai and purchased a traditional black burqa on Thursday.

Luckily, they had one in her size.

Kim Kardashian's husband just avoided every married man's nightmare -- the ole, "Where the [bleep] is your ring?" convo -- when his $10,000 wedding band went missing ... temporarily.

Kris Humphries can thank a fellow traveler (above) for finding his ring at a TSA checkpoint in Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Friday.

Sources close to Kris tell us the drama started when he had to take off his Lorraine Schwartz designed ring to go through the metal detector. We're told Kris accidentally dropped the ring while putting it back on -- but luckily the guy behind Kris recognized him as "Kim's husband."

The good samaritan -- and "Keeping up With the Kardashians" fan -- tells TMZ he got down on his hands and knees, searched for the ring, found it ... and returned it to Kris.

Kim Kardashian just dropped a cool $325,000 on a pimped out new Ferrari, TMZ has learned … and it may only be the SECOND most expensive ride in her MILLION DOLLAR auto collection.

The reality star picked up the super-customized, super-rare 458 Italia from Plantinum Motorsport in L.A. earlier this week ... the same place where she got that famous fleet of Phantoms for her wedding.

Kim’s new lightning fast car is painted white – which is shocking, ‘cause she typically prefers black speedsters.

Earlier this year, Kim picked up a BALLER customized Rolls Royce Ghost. It’s unclear how much she paid for that ride, but they usually START at $255k.

Now sources close to the show tell us Rob is hitting the gym daily, practicing harder than ever -- and sucking up to his partner/teacher Cheryl Burke by bringing her lunch each day.

Rob's new attitude is a 180 from a few weeks ago -- when he was a total slacker.

Kim Kardashian is NOT the mystery buyer trying to yank her infamous sex tape off the market -- this according to Vivid honcho Steve Hirsch, the man who currently owns the tape.

Hirsch tells TMZ, he still doesn't know who the mystery buyer is -- but a rep for the interested party insists ... it ain't Kim ... or anyone even remotely associated with Kim.

Steve tells us, "It made sense the entire time it would be Kim, but it appears it’s not.”

According to Steve, the buyer will reveal his identity if the deal gets done -- and explain once and for all why he/she wants to pull the tape from the market.

Steve says he met with the buyer's rep several times in the last week -- but the buyer's still several million dollars short of Hirsch's $30 million asking price.

Kim Kardashian plus DJ Pauly D plus Fashion's Night Out equals an insane crowd that forced cops to shut down DASH NYC last night.

As TMZ first reported, Pauly D agreed to work the party at the Kardashians' store in NYC ... for free ... as a wedding gift to Kim and Kris Humphries.

According to sources inside the store ... NYPD had to step in when the crowd of thousands tried to jump the barricades to get to Pauly as he left the store.

We're told cops made the Kardashian sisters and all their employees leave the store and turn off all the lights -- essentially telling the crazed fans, "You ain't got to go home, but ..."

Rob Kardashian has a nasty case of pre-dance jitters -- and it's starting to piss off his "Dancing with the Stars" partner.

Sources close to the show tell us Rob is very nervous and has refused to rehearse longer than 2 hours with Cheryl Burke -- while most of the contestants are logging more than 5 hour practices.

We're told Cheryl is "fed up" with what she perceives to be Rob's lack of interest in the show.

But Rob is still talking a big game ... because we're told he's bragging constantly to big sis Kim that he will top her 'DWTS' performance by making it past week 3.

Pauly D wasn't invited to Kim Kardashian's extravagant wedding -- but that didn't stop him from giving her a gift that is valued at $40,000 ... kind of.

According to our sources, Pauly was approached by Kim to DJ an event at her DASH store in NYC for Fashion's Night Out, the biggest event during Fashion Week.

We're told Pauly agreed to do the gig ... and even agreed to wave his appearance fee as a wedding present. He usually gets $40,000 per appearance.

Kim Kardashian's husband is well aware of his wife's XXX past ... but sources close to Kris Humphries tell us, "He could care less about the sex tape."

In fact, we're told Kris truly had "no idea" who Ray J was when Kim's sex tape partner sat next to the NBA star on a recent flight from L.A. to New Orleans.

But after a few hours on the plane, Ray J finally approached Kris and said, "Come on, You know who I am ... I just want to say congratulations." Kris reportedly replied, "Oh yeah, yeah I know who you are."

Sources close to Humphries tell us, "Kris really didn't know who he was" ... but once Ray J reminded him, it didn't matter to him because Kris is simply not bothered by Kim and Ray J's previous relationship.
