Demi Lovato Disney Pulls Eating Disorder Joke After Demi's Twitter Attack

Published | Updated

Demi Lovato went on a Twitter rampage last night against her former bosses at Disney over an eating disorder joke on one of their shows -- and guess what??? Disney folded and promised to pull the joke from the show.

Lovato, who left the Disney show "Sonny With a Chance" to battle her own problems with food, took offense to a line from the show,"Shake It Up" -- "I could just eat you up, well if I ate."

Demi sent out a flurry of tweets, one of which read, "I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress' from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease..... #nice."

Word got back to the Mouse House and they responded to Demi in a matter of hours from a PR Twitter account: "We hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them ... It’s NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders!"

How 'bout that ... The mouse that roared caved to the mouth that roared.

Kiefer Sutherland just scared the living crap out of a perfectly innocent Christmas tree ... pretending to form tackle the fur ... in a new holiday card intended to spoof his famous tree dive of '06.

If you recall, Kiefer ferociously murdered a suspicious-looking Xmas plant in a London hotel during the filming of the documentary "I Trust You to Kill Me" ... possibly because he may have been drunk at the time.

Now, Sutherland has mocked the incident ... posting the greeting card to his Twitter page.

Pretty funny ... but nothing beats the real thing.

Matisyahu I Shaved My Big Jewish Beard

Published | Updated

Orthodox Jew rapper Matisyahu took a razor blade to the face this week ... and shaved off his trademark beard ... or so it seems.

Matisyahu just posted the shorn pics of himself on his Twitter page ... along with the message, "At the break of day I look for you at sunrise ... When the tide comes in I lose my disguise."

We're reaching out to Matisyahu for comment -- we'll fill you in on the beard drama as it unfolds.

10:38 AM PST -- Matisyahu has posted a blog, explaining his decision to chop his face warmer ... in which he writes, "No more Chassidic reggae superstar."

He adds, "Sorry folks, all you get is me ... no alias. When I started becoming religious 10 years ago it was a very natural and organic process. It was my choice. My journey to discover my roots and explore Jewish spirituality—not through books but through real life."

"At a certain point I felt the need to submit to a higher level of religiosity…to move away from my intuition and to accept an ultimate truth. I felt that in order to become a good person I needed rules -- lots of them -- or else I would somehow fall apart. I am reclaiming myself. Trusting my goodness and my divine mission.

Get ready for an amazing year filled with music of rebirth. And for those concerned with my naked face, don’t worry…you haven’t seen the last of my facial hair."

Ashton Kutcher I Can No Longer Think for Myself

Published | Updated

Ashton Kutcher doesn't trust himself with his own thoughts ... claiming his ignorant Twitter defense of Joe Paterno has made him realize that he isn't qualified to speak to 8 million people.

Kutcher just posted a long-winded message on his blog -- explaining that he has decided to turn over control of his Twitter account to his management team -- which will now filter Ashton's stream of uninformed thoughts before they are unleashed on the masses.

Kutcher writes, "Up until today I have posted virtually everyone of my tweets on my own, but clearly the platform has become to big to be managed by a single individual."

He continued, "While I will continue to express myself through @Aplusk I'm going to turn the management of the feed over to my team at Katalyst Media to ensure the quality of it's content."

He should have had the management team read over the blog before he published it -- because after he again apologized for the Paterno tweet, he wrote, "It was a mistake that I don't think will not happen again."
