Kanye West went over the top for his marriage proposal to Kim Kardashian -- renting out a stadium, hiring an orchestra, and oh a little 15-carat diamond ring! All in all, an awesome ... waste of money.

Yeezy, you coulda pulled this off on the cheap, bro.

Kanye West strolled into his hotel this afternoon in San Francisco ... just hours after proposing to baby mama Kim Kardashian -- and the guy looked REALLY HAPPY!

West was in such a great mood all day today. In fact, the rap star even threw out a peace sign to the photogs who were snapping his pic -- it's almost like he got laid last night or something.

Congrats pal ... on the engagement (and on the getting laid thing).

Kanye West pulled out all the stops when he proposed to Kim Kardashian last night ... paying the orchestra members a relative fortune ... all while cameras were rolling.

A member of the orchestra tells TMZ ... she was paid 4 times what she usually gets for such a gig -- members snagged up to 1k each.

She says no one got wind of Kanye's plan until 2 days before the event. A contractor reached out to a bunch of musicians in the area. But here's the thing ...The orchestra members kept the secret for a full 2 days. They did sign non-disclosure agreements, but you know how that works ...

The woman also tells us ... multiple cameras were rolling during Kanye's proposal, so there's plenty of material for the Kardashian reality show. We're told Kanye has final approval over whether it goes on the show or not.

The engagement comes 4 months after Kim and Kanye's daughter North was born -- and 18 months after they went public as a couple.

Monday was Kim's 33rd birthday. This will be her third shot at "til death do us part," and Kanye's first.

BTW -- In case you're interested, it costs $35k to rent out the field. We're guessing he can afford it.

Bad news, men everywhere ... Kristen Bell is officially off the market -- TMZ has learned, she and longtime boyfriend Dax Shepard have finally tied the knot.

The couple had a no-frills ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office. We're told there was a photographer present, and Kristen was crying.

According to eyewitnesses, Kristen and Dax went to the clerk office just to get their marriage license -- but when a court employee offered to marry them on the spot, they agreed ... and conducted the ceremony in a nearby courtroom.

Not a huge surprise ... Kristen has talked about wanting a courthouse marriage in the past, saying, "I feel like we get enough attention in our daily lives and we just want something sort of private that involves pen and paper."

Kristen famously re-proposed to Dax after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the gay marriage ban in June ... kind of a solidarity thing. Mazel tov!

Charlie Hunnam appeared front and center for his friends wedding yesterday -- not phased at all over DROPPING OUT OF THE ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED MOVIES EVER!!

Hunnam watched his buddy tie the knot in Santa Barbara yesterday ... just hours after Universal announced he was bailing on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.

Charlie also gave a toast at the reception and was in great spirits ... according to reports.

No word on whether or not Robert Pattinson, Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder were invited.

Abby Wambach is officially off the market ... TMZ has learned the Team USA soccer superstar got hitched to her longtime girlfriend this weekend at a fancy resort in Hawaii.

Multiple sources confirm ... Abby and pro soccer player Sarah Huffman swapped "I dos" on Saturday at the Villas at Po'ipu Kai on the island of Kauai.

We're told the ceremony went down at sunset ... right on the beach ... in front of the couple's closest friends and family members.

Sources say it was a very intimate gathering -- attended by several members of the Team USA soccer team, including Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux (see below).

The couple -- and their guests -- spent the past few days doing all sorts of fun activities, including hikes, cliff diving and even a boat trip.

Lauren's responsibilities -- according to the couple, Lauren is tasked with making the decision about filming the birth of their child.

The Bushes were guests last weekend at the marriage ceremony of Bonnie Clement and Helen Thorgalsen -- old friends of theirs from Maine -- and the ex-prez made headlines for signing their marriage license as a witness.

One of the blushing brides, Helen, revealed George and Barbara Bush's wedding gift ... FEED bake ware! Which is awesome because the FEED line was founded by G & B's granddaughter, Lauren, and profits go to help needy families.

Helen's thrilled with the gift of Bush.

Christina Milian -- who's sporting a big piece of ice on her finger -- has been playing coy about whether or not she's actually engaged ... but it kinda ruins the game when she calls her man ... her "fiancé."

According to reports -- the 28-year-old basketball player was joined by teammate Dwyane Wade and his girlfriend Gabrielle Union ... Chris Bosh and wife Adrienne ... as well as Jay Z and Beyonce, who performed "Crazy in Love" at the reception.

The cowboy from the Village People has found his huckleberry ... and the two will marry later this week in a 3-day celebration in NYC ... so says the PRESS RELEASE the singer just sent out to the media.

According to the release, Randy Jones -- "Multi-platinum recording artist and American Music Award winner" -- will wed his partner Will Grega during "three days of New York events" beginning tomorrow.

Day 1 -- the public proposal ... Randy will pop the question in front of friends and family in Columbus Circle, followed by a celebratory dance to Andrea Bocelli's "Septiembre Amor."

Day 2 -- the ceremony ... Randy and Will will swap "I Dos" at City Hall in front of their mothers. After, they're headed to a trendy rooftop bar to party with special guest host Warrington Gillette -- who the couple credits as "Jason" from "Friday the 13th Part 2."

Day 3 -- the post-wedding banquet ... the couple will invite guests to "honor the Italian heritage of Will Grega" with a "true Italian banquet" at a restaurant in Little Italy.

Of course, no wedding press release would be complete without quotes from the groom and the groom ... so:
