Springfield is NOT in Oregon ... or Illinois ... or Delaware ... or Ohio, Nevada or Maine ... so says creator Matt Groening.

Matt was leaving Nobu in Malibu this weekend ... posing for photos and signing autographs ... when our photog asked the cartoon god to finally settle the Springfield debate once and for all.

For years, Simpsons writers have given clues about the true location of Bart's hometown ... but they've never given an official answer.

But last night, Groening FINALLY gave us the answer we were looking for. Maybe.

Former presidential hopeful Rick Santorum did not take a photo WITH Lindsay Lohan last night -- but sources at the White House Correspondents' Dinner tell TMZ ... he took one OF her.

According to our sources inside the party, LiLo was sitting with Fox News personality Greta Van Susteren when Santorum came up to say hello. We're told Lindsay was asked to take a picture of him with Greta using his camera, which she did.

Then ... our sources say Rick asked to take a photo of Lindsay using his camera. Yes ... of just Lindsay.

We're told Lindsay smiled and obliged and Santorum then went on his way.

Our photog asked Rick about the picture after the party ... and he played dumb about the photo.

He might not be running for President any more, but he can't take any chances.

Octomom Nadya Suleman has a competitive uterus ... because she doesn't want any would-be baby machines taking a shot at her birthing title ... and she's sick of them trying.

Octo had some competition recently from Mexico's NueveMom -- who claimed to be pregnant with 9 babies. Her story might not be true, but if it is ... it could have shot Octo's record for most children delivered at a single birth to survive straight out the window.

Octo tells TMZ she's tired of all the Octofakes lately, telling us, "No one will ever take my Octo title, I’m in the Guinness Book Of World Records!"

She goes on to call NueveMom "a fraud" and says she "shouldn't be making a joke about raising a large family. It’s a serious job and takes a lot to take care of my children. She disgusts me."

"Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey's rescue mission in Malibu this week was even more badass than we thought -- just take a look at the scene of the accident!!!

TMZ broke the story ... a teenage driver crashed and flipped his Mustang on the road right outside Dempsey's Malibu home -- and the actor came to the rescue, crowbar in hand to pry the doors open.

Dempsey successfully pulled the driver from the wreckage -- a 17-year-old named Weston Massett -- who tells TMZ, when he opened his eyes, the actor was looking right down at him.

Massett asked, "Are you famous?" ... and Patrick coolly replied, "I'm a doctor."

We're told Patrick called Massett's mother and told her about the accident -- keeping her calm the entire time. Massett was then airlifted to a nearby hospital, and Patrick followed to make sure the kid was okay.

Miraculously, Massett suffered no serious injuries -- just a concussion and a "stretched" optic nerve. He's expected to make a full recovery.

There was also a passenger in the car, Dylan Miller, but thankfully we're told Miller suffered no injuries whatsoever.

NueveMom is no mas ... this according to Univision ... which has information that could prove the woman who was allegedly pregnant with 9 babies ... isn't really pregnant at all.

Univision published a report ... claiming a reporter spoke with a Mexican doctor who performed an ultrasound on Karla Vanessa Perez ... and determined her uterus was "empty."

The doctor told a reporter ... she was unaware of any other ultrasounds that may have been performed ... and says the local Health Dept. is trying to find out who told Karla she was pregnant in the first place.

Have no fear ... McDreamy is here ... "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey came to the rescue of a teenage driver, who crashed and flipped his car in Malibu this week ... TMZ has learned.

The accident occurred Tuesday at around 5pm, right next to Dempsey's Malibu pad. A young driver lost control of his Mustang and it overturned repeatedly, crashing into the actor's front yard. We're told the car was TOTALED.

Responding with lightning speed ... McDreamy ran to the wrecked car -- we're told with crowbar in hand -- so he could pry the driver from the vehicle. We're told Patrick was able to get the boy out of the car.

"Road Trip" star Mia Amber Davis -- who famously played the big girl -- was TOO OBESE to have been on birth control pills and died as a result ... this according to her widower, who's suing Mia's doctors.

Mia passed away back in May 2011 as a result of a pulmonary embolism ... one day after undergoing knee surgery.

But in his lawsuit, Mia's widower claims ... in the months before the surgery, Mia's OBGYN prescribed her birth control pills such as Balziva and Zenchent ... "drugs that greatly increase one's risk for a pulmonary embolism, especially when combined with [Mia's] other risk factors."

Mia's widower lists "obesity" as one of Mia's significant risk factors.

Mia's widower claims his wife's doctor SHOULD HAVE suggested condoms or other methods of birth control as an alternative ... because the drugs "greatly increased her risk for a pulmonary embolism and ultimately caused her death."

To make matters worse, Mia's widower claims Mia went to a family practitioner on April 18 to complain about knee pain. The doc allegedly cleared Mia for knee surgery ... despite a number of risk factors, including obesity, hyperlipidemia and the fact she was on Zenchent.

Mia's widower claims the doc "should have advised [Mia] to eliminate some of her other risk factors prior to clearing her for the surgery."

Mia underwent the surgery on May 9 ... and died the next day.

Adios OctoMom ... 'cause there's a lady in Mexico who's reportedly pregnant with NINE KIDS!!!!

According to reports, NueveMom has been identified as Karla Vanessa Perez ... who's one month away from giving birth to 6 girls and 3 boys.

Just like Nadya Suleman, NueveMom reportedly had fertility treatments leading up to the multiple pregnancy.

NueveMom told Mexico's Notimex news agency, "It's very early to think of names for the babies ... first I hope that everything goes well."

So far, it's unclear if Perez is married ... rich ... sane, etc.

11:35 AM PT -- FOOTAGE has just surfaced of the NueveMom on a local Mexican news station -- you gotta check it out!!!

Sources say ... Scarver -- who's currently serving multiple life sentences for multiple murders -- wants to reveal all sorts of details surrounding the Dahmer killing ... including Dahmer's last words.

We're told Scarver plans to reveal the "sick, sadistic mind games and practical jokes" Dahmer played on prison officials and other prisoners during his time in the pokey.

Sources say ... Scarver also wants to share the life lessons he's learned since the killing.

Brian McKnight is the hottest thing in adult entertainment -- because TMZ has learned, the singer was just asked to perform his new X-rated song at the OSCARS OF PORN ... aka the AVN awards ... and that's just the tip of the XXX iceberg.

Sources tell TMZ, AVN offered to fly McKnight out for the lavish awards gala in Vegas next January -- where he'd perform his new jam "If You're Ready to Learn," the adult-themed song that went viral on Tuesday ... containing the lyrics, "Let me show you how your p***y works."

But AVN isn't the only porn company trying to get into some McKnight action -- we're told YouPorn.com has also approached the singer, asking to license the song for its website's background music.

According to sources, several other XXX companies have reached out to McKnight as well, specifically because of the new song -- which McKnight plans to release next week on iTunes.

Octomom's graffiti-riddled den of filth is morphing back into a normal-looking house -- at least for now -- because the entire interior just got a fresh new paint job ... and TMZ got the photos.

As we first reported, La Habra Police Department and the Orange County Dept. of Children and Family Services showed up at Nadya Suleman's home Tuesday, after receiving a complaint that the mother of 14 lets her kids live in horrendous conditions.

But today, DialAStar.com -- the website that pays celebs to talk to their fans on the phone -- donated the company's first month of profits (over $10,000) to spruce up Nadya's house.

A rep for the website -- which employs Octomom along with several other celebs -- tells TMZ, cleaners have already started painting over the giant murals of graffiti inside and outside of the house, patching holes in the wall, and fixing the doors.

As for Octomom's stylist's claims that only one toilet works in the house -- we got video of Octo proving it's no longer true ... you see her flushing THREE toilets.

Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan will be seated at the same table Saturday night at the White House Correspondents' Dinner ... TMZ has learned.

Kim and Lindsay were both invited by Fox News Channel and they will be face-to-face at the table ... sources planning the event tell TMZ.

As for whether there are any grudges between the two -- we're told there are none. In fact, Kim has been supportive of Lindsay during her troubles and Lindsay attended Kim's wedding. We're told they are pretty close.

The big question -- Will Kim and Lindsay meet Prez Obama? One source directly involved with the event tells us, "No way. The President almost never mingles with the guests."

The Hells Angels are going to war with MTV ... and one of the network's biggest stars ... who allegedly STOLE the motorcycle club's famous death head logo and plastered it on t-shirts.

The man at the center of the controversy is "Fantasy Factory" star Rob Dyrdek ... whose company owns the "Young & Reckless" clothing label ... created by his cousin Chris "Drama" Pfaff.

The Hells Angels are suing Rob's company and MTV -- claiming Y&R designed and sold a bunch of t-shirts that "bear a design confusingly similar to the [flaming skull logo]" ... and they never asked for permission.

In the suit, filed in federal court in California, HA claims the logo has great commercial value ... because of its "very widespread public recognition" which evokes "strong and immediate reactions whenever used."

The Angels claim Dyrdek's actions have caused "substantial damage" to the biker club ... and believe MTV violated their rights by broadcasting the stolen logos on "Fantasy Factory."

The Angels are seeking unspecified damages. Calls to MTV and Rob Dyrdek have not been returned.

A very sick Ryan Seacrest made it through "American Idol" last night, but in the process he may have infected every single person who shares the stage with him.

We broke the story -- Ryan came close to bailing on the show. He had a terrible stomach virus, was throwing up the night before and all day yesterday, and went through 2 IV bags in a matter of hours. He didn't make it to the rehearsal and Nigel Lythgoe was ready to step in.

A black surgical mask that Michael Jackson allegedly wore the night before he died in 2009 has hit the auction block -- and the bids have already surpassed $20,000.

According to the auction house -- Nate D. Sanders Auctions -- MJ wore the mask (above) while rehearsing for his "This Is It" concert tour on June 24th, 2009 ... the singer's last ever rehearsal.

The auction house claims the mask -- made of silk fabric, personally designed by the King of Pop -- contains visible traces of MJ's stage make-up along with a strand of his black hair.

One of MJ's former bodyguards was in possession of the mask, and swears by its authenticity. MJ famously wore surgical masks outdoors as a form of disguise.
