DJ Khaled has released several reggae/dancehall bangers and hates to see Jamaica in ruins following Hurricane Melissa -- now he's springing his We The Best Foundation into action!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Khaled outside Chelsea Television Studios on Thursday and he had nothing but positive affirmations for the Jamaican survivors and first responders.

Khaled tells us he's working closely with the foundations of fellow collaborators and superstars Vybz Kartel and Bounty Killer to deliver aid to local citizens.

Akon never should've been arrested, his team claims ... blaming the whole misunderstanding on a records-keeping issue.

A representative for the singer-songwriter tells us Akon already paid for the suspended license which resulted in his arrest ... but, the payment wasn't entered into the system properly.

We're told this clerical error -- a big one, if true -- will be rectified by the courts at Akon's hearing in early December.

Rory Farrell of 'Rory & MAL' podcast fame is doing damage control after dozens of racist and hateful tweets resurfaced on the web ... including one that completely devalued Beyoncé's entire existence!!!

On Wednesday evening, Rory and his podcast cohosts Mal and Demaris hopped on X Spaces -- only to receive a tongue-lashing from several African-American journalists and hip hop fans upset with commentary he reposted several years ago on X, such as "Every black woman has either, wanted to, thought about, or actually f***ed a white guy #whitepeoplefacts" and "I've never saw a good looking black woman."

Commenters also caught him deleting some of the posts -- which date back over a decade -- in real time as the public town hall meeting heated up.

Rapper Justina Valentine was Wild 'N Out in the TMZ newsroom Thursday ... freestyling a certified banger for Harvey and Charles.

Watch the video ... Valentine had us turnt up, with a 10 out of 10 off-the-cuff rap.

We really shouldn't expect anything less ... she's spent nearly a decade coming up with improvised raps on "Wild 'N Out."

It looks like the Ice Spice romance has officially thawed out for Sauce Gardner -- the Indianapolis Colts defensive back was spotted leaving dinner with rapper Latto's sister, Brooklyn, on Wednesday ... this amid rumors they've been dating.

The former New York Jet was in Miami for Indy's Week 11 bye ... and hit up the popular restaurant Carbone to chow down during his time off.

The cameras captured the 25-year-old walking to his car with a few ladies -- one might be Latto herself, but it's hard to tell since she was covering her face with her hoodie -- and he opened the passenger door for Brooklyn before they drove off together.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with both Blueface and Hazel-E at TAO in Hollywood on Wednesday night ... and the newly free rapper stopped to buy her a bushel of roses from the guy on the street -- it was their first official date night and he wanted to make an impression!!!

It's a love story all about timing -- Hazel-E tells our cameras Blueface first reached out to her via DM ... on the wedding day of her eventual failed marriage to DéVon Waller in 2019.

Klay Thompson just unloaded on a pair of ex-NBA stars for their graphic chat about Megan Thee Stallion ... calling Patrick Beverley and Jason Williams "so disgusting and disturbing" for disrespecting his girlfriend.

As we previously reported, White Chocolate made shocking comments on the "Hoopin’ N Hollerin'" podcast on Wednesday ... hinting the Dallas Mavericks hooper's relationship with the rapper might be to blame for his slump this season.

The Weeknd is stepping up to help Jamaicans impacted by Hurricane Melissa ... donating a bunch of money to help put food on their tables.

The "Blinding Lights" singer is donating $350,000 from his XO Humanitarian Fund to support the World Food Programme's emergency response in Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa slammed the Caribbean island last month as a Category 5 storm, dubbed "The Storm of the Century." Melissa pushed winds up to 185 MPH and officials declared all of Jamaica a disaster area due to catastrophic damage.

Cardi B and her legal team are slamming a former security guard's attempt to get a new trial after she lost her case against the rapper ... saying the woman is grasping at straws!!!

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Emani Ellis and her attorneys are pushing for a do-over in the case ... complaining, among other things, that the judge should have excluded two witnesses from the case ... but Cardi is calling BS.

Cardi's legal team says it's rich of Ellis to say the witnesses shouldn't have testified, because she says Ellis tried to enlist one of them to help sue Cardi shortly after the incident back in 2018.

Jason Williams thinks he knows why Klay Thompson is strugglin' on the basketball court this season -- MEG THEE STALLION!

That's what the former NBA star said on the "Hoopin’ N Hollerin'" podcast on Wednesday, just a week after the Dallas Mavericks announced they were benching the four-time NBA champion, who is averaging just 7.4 points per game, while shooting 26.7% from the three.

The podcast crew, including Patrick Beverly, mentioned Thompson's new relationship with Meg, one of the hottest stars in all of music ... when Williams, a 12-year NBA vet, chimed in.

Boosie Badazz will be facing a judge later this month when he's sentenced in California for gun possession ... but he's still making the most out of his November with a birthday album release with NBA YoungBoy!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Boosie today at Amy Ruth's chicken and waffles hut in Harlem, and we took a few minutes to remember Alaicha Johnson -- the young fan whose funeral Boosie performed at in October, after being contacted by her family.

Alaicha abruptly died from cancer and didn't get to see Boosie when he popped up in Detroit ... but the Louisiana rap star tells us fulfilling her last wish was his honor!!!

Flyysoulja of the Island Boys was going through a drug-induced psychotic episode leading up to his detainment and mental health evaluation in Florida over the weekend ... TMZ has learned.

The rapper told us the psychosis came about after he took "multiple substances like pills."

He recalled, "In the psychosis, I was trying to find something for my hair for hours, and destroyed the home while unknowingly being on Live."

10:27 AM PT -- Akon was busted because he had a bench warrant issued for failure to appear for a suspended license ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

Cops say it all started back in September, when Akon was driving a Tesla Cybertruck in Georgia. Police say they were on patrol when they spotted a Cybertruck stranded in the middle of the road ... they say Akon was the driver and he told cops the battery died.

Police say they called a tow truck to move the Cybertuck and while waiting, the officer says he discovered Akon's license was suspended for a failure to appear from back in January 2023. Cops say Akon was issued a citation for driving while his license was suspended and released from the scene.

The officer also noted in the report, "An illegal vape in the center console was seized during the inventory and submitted for destruction."

Kanye West is currently on a repentance tour for his past antisemitic comments ... but the São Paulo State Prosecutor’s Office in Brazil is giving him a stern warning not to entertain Nazism one bit -- or be thrown in jail!!!

Ye is scheduled to perform there on Nov. 29, but a complaint was filed with a prosecutor's office Tuesday with strict orders to arrest the hip hop megastar if he performs his track, "Heil Hitler."

Councilwoman Cris Monteiro is leading the political charge against Ye with the complaint, and prosecutor Ana Beatriz Pereira de Souza Frontini issued a ruling prohibiting swastika T-shirts or Nazi symbolism of any kind.

São Paulo's mayor said police will arrest Ye or anyone "who makes any apology for Nazism" -- as in, anyone who justifies the fascist ideology. Police will have a team of officers on standby just in case things go haywire. Ye and his team could be charged with crimes of racism and collective moral damages.

The promoters of the show -- Guilherme Cavalcante and Jean Fabrício Ramos -- also face arrest for omission should Ye not fully comply.

Tickets are still on sale ... but Ye & co. are scrambling for a location to perform!!!

Salt-N-Pepa are riding high following their grand induction at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame -- and are hinting the party won't stop ... because they'll be touring next year!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Pepa and Spinderella outside Jennifer Hudson Studios in  Burbank this week, and they were beaming in light of their massive accomplishments through hip hop culture.

The group took their lumps internally just like any long-running act, but Spin tells us they've displayed a solid sisterhood to the world to cap off their 40-year history.

After begging the cops for months to arrest him — yes, you heard that right! — Chicago rapper Adamn Killa finally got his wish this week ... sort of.

Chicago PD officers cuffed and detained Killa on Monday after he interceded in a police traffic stop Downtown while telling cops to "arrest me, Daddy," according to the Chicago Sun Times. Killa was reportedly placed in a police vehicle for 20 minutes before he was set free without being charged. He then jumped on Instagram and posted video of his detainment.

The back story on Killa — whose real name is Adam Kelly — should come as no surprise. Over the past several months, Killa has been filmed walking up to cops, leaning over with his butt out, and demanding to be arrested with his customary phrase, "Arrest me, daddy." He also clutches his hands together and sometimes does a little dance in the videos, which have gone viral.
