Professional wrestlers CM Punk and his wife AJ Lee just lost their beloved dog Larry ... and CM commemorated him in the most personal and beautiful post probably of his whole life.

This is just heart-wrenching ... The World Heavyweight Champion revealed Larry took his last breath while in the couple's arms after spending more than 10 years together as a family.

According to CM, they rescued Larry in February 2015 and he changed their life by making everywhere they went with him home.

12:48 PM PT -- Serena Williams just ruined all the fun -- going to social media to deny she's been secretly planning a comeback.

"Omg yall I'm NOT coming back," Williams said on X on Tuesday. "This wildfire is crazy-"

Williams didn't explain why she's on the testing pool list ... so maybe she just wasn't ready to announce anything yet??

Serena Williams might be pulling a Tom Brady and Michael Jordan -- the tennis G.O.A.T. is clearing the path for a big return!!

The 44-year-old reportedly popped up on the International Tennis Registered Testing Pool list recently ... a requirement for players who want to compete, including retirees who must apply at least six months before participating in a tournament again.

Caroline Wozniacki did the same thing in 2023. The former world No. 1 tennis player applied for reinstatement after initially walking away following the 2020 Australian Open.

The Daytona 500 is already one of America's most beloved sporting events, but it just got a hell of a lot more fun ... 'cause Bert Kreischer's been tapped to host the official NASCAR pre-party!

The inaugural Full Throttle Festival is set to go down on February 14, just a few miles from the Daytona International Speedway, the night before the famed race.

Kreischer -- on the Mt. Rushmore of partiers (do a Google search) -- will be on hand to host the festivities ... and will also dish out some laughs from the stage, along with other comedians.

Speaking of the entertainment, it'll be top-notch ... with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Diplo among the musical acts!

There will also be BBQ, and lots of beer fueling the all-night party ... leading up to "The Great American Race."

"You know Race Weekend in Daytona is the Super Bowl of Speed, and for me, that means going absolutely massive. So, I figured, why not build the biggest, wildest, greatest pre-race party ever?" Kreischer said.

"We’re not just having a party; we’re bringing a rock show, a country show, a comedy show, and the kind of BBQ and beer that would make a pit crew chief proud. Toosii's showing he's the definition of a double threat ... because the rapper just committed to play football for Syracuse University as part of the 2026 signing class!

The performer revealed the big news by posting a set of photos on his Instagram account Monday, and he included a shot showing him posing next to Syracuse's head football coach, Fran Brown Jr.

Toosii -- legal name Nau'Jour Lazier Grainger -- really went the whole nine ... or, in this case, 100 yards with his announcement, as he wrote a lengthy statement in the caption thanking his supporters for believing in him as he pursues his athletic dreams.

He wrote he's excited to return to his hometown of Syracuse, New York, after moving down to North Carolina during his teenage years.

Toosii played wide receiver at Rolesville High School, and he'll be playing the same position with the Orange, reports CBS Sports.

The rapper -- whose track "Favorite Song" went double platinum in 2023 -- announced in August he's returning to football ... he reportedly visited both North Carolina State University and Duke University before committing to Syracuse.

Brianna Aguilera -- a 19-year-old student at Texas A&M University -- was found dead near campus hours after a college football game ... and now her mother is searching for answers.

According to San Antonio's KSAT-TV, Brianna was at Texas A&M's football game against the University of Texas in Austin Friday night ... hours later, a bystander found her body outside a campus apartment complex.

Brianna's mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, told KSAT she's not satisfied with answers she's gotten from the Austin Police Department. She said her daughter stopped answering her phone after the game, though she could see it pinging in Austin. Brianna was found about 1 AM Saturday ... Rodriguez was informed by police at 4 PM her daughter's body was in the morgue.

Famed skateboarder Terry Kennedy -- who's behind bars, serving a 5-year prison sentence for an assault that resulted in the death of fellow skater Josiah Kassahun -- is scheduled to be released at the end of the month, TMZ Sports has learned.

The Illinois Department of Corrections tells us that Kennedy, who is 40 years old, "was eligible for and received sentence credit" ... meaning his release date was pushed up, and he'll walk out of the slammer on December 31, 2025, just in time for New Year's Eve.

We're told TK will remain on supervised release until June 30, 2026, at which point he is scheduled to be fully discharged.

The Chicago Bulls took two L's during the Black Friday matchup against the Charlotte Hornets ... in the actual game and in the fan department, after DaBaby exposed a couple of fair-weather fans as bigger supporters of his than of the team!!!

DaBaby was spotted strolling through Spectrum Center when a female fan asked him to take a pic -- which he happily obliged.

The security guard who went viral for taking a bite off a Packers player's plate after their Thanksgiving game against the Lions was NOT fired for the stunt, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

A Lions spokesperson called fake news on the matter on Monday ... after social media accounts claimed the guy in a video was out of the job for accepting grub off defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse's plate as he celebrated the 31-24 road win over Detroit.

Stackhouse actually offered him the food ... but the guy hesitated a bit when he noticed a camera pointed right at him.
