Screw the talk, screw the hype ... it would only take ONE ROUND for Floyd Mayweather to dismantle Conor McGregor in a boxing ring -- so says Sugar Ray Leonard.

The boxing legend -- who actually beat Floyd's dad back in 1978 -- was leaving Catch when he made it very clear McGregor doesn't stand a chance if they fight in a ring instead of an Octagon.

Daniel Jacobs says he was SHOCKED the first time he took a punch from Gennady Golovkin this weekend -- telling TMZ Sports he thought the guy would hit harder!!

GGG's power is legendary -- he's knocked out more than 20 FIGHTERS before Jacobs.

But Daniel says the power ain't all it's cracked up to be -- "It was a myth. It was a facade. It was smoke and mirrors. It wasn't what I expected."

Jacobs lost the fight in a unanimous decision -- even though some people say Jacobs looked like the better fighter.

Floyd Mayweather had made it loud and clear -- he's willing to step out of retirement to fight Conor McGregor ... if they can just hammer out a deal.

Floyd made the official announcement Saturday, saying "for Conor McGregor, I'm coming out of retirement ... just to fight Conor McGregor."

He added ... "I don't want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let's fight in June. You're the B side, I'm the A side."

Here's the problem ... Dana White has already said the fight isn't likely to happen because negotiations are falling apart. They seem to be worlds apart on money ... and there's simply no deal as of February.

Floyd's been back and forth about being willing to fight Conor, but seems to be taking a firm position now ... he's willing if a deal can be struck.

Muhammad Ali's son was stopped and questioned again at another airport ... and his lawyer says the TSA is lying by trying to minimize the incident.

Muhammad Ali, Jr. was at Reagan National Airport Friday when he tried checking in for a flight at an airline counter. Ali's lawyer says a computer check flagged Ali and someone who needed to ante up more info about him. The lawyer says the agent wouldn't accept Ali's Illinois ID, and then put the boxer's son on the phone with Homeland Security.

The lawyer says the call lasted 20 minutes. Once Ali handed over his passport to confirm his identity, the lawyer says Homeland security cleared him.

TSA says the delay was not 20 minutes -- only 11, adding Ali was never "detained."

Oscar De La Hoya has been hit with 2 misdemeanor DUI charges stemming from his January arrest in Pasadena ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Boxing champ Terence Crawford found himself playing the role of referee during a violent girl-on-girl street fight in Omaha ... and one of the combatants was his own sister.

Here's the deal ... a woman named Mystery Wakefield says she was working at the Citi Trends clothing shop in Omaha when she was approached by Terence's sister who wanted to fight.

Mystery says she clocked out of her job (don't wanna fight on company time) and met Iesha Crawford outside ... where they proceeded to throw down.

Terence -- who was recently released from jail -- can be seen trying to break up the fight.

The boxer eventually left the scene, but cops tracked down his car and pulled him over. A gun was found inside the vehicle and he was taken to a nearby station for questioning. He was later released with no charges.

As for why the women were fighting and why Terence was there ... we're still looking into it.

Even Conor McGregor IMPERSONATORS got balls -- including the one who got right up in Floyd Mayweather's face and challenged him to a fight in England.

It all went down during a Q&A event in Birmingham over the weekend -- when Irish impressionist Al Foran grabbed the mic and started talking authentic McGregorian trash right to the champ.

At one point, he even took a seat next to Floyd on the stage and continued the smacktalk.

Meanwhile, the REAL Conor was close by in Ireland this weekend celebrating his mom's birthday ... not too far for a surprise confrontation??

2:19 PM PT -- A rep for the Ladywood Fire Station -- which responded to the fire -- tells TMZ that 2 individuals chucked a Molotov cocktail inside after breaking a window with a brick. We're told the van was connected to Floyd's entourage and the team handling his promotions while he's in the UK. Sources close to Floyd tell us the van was not actually owned by him. The case has been passed off to cops.

Floyd Mayweather had one of his entourage's vans burnt to a crisp in what appears to be an arson attack this weekend in the UK.

Floyd was speaking at an event inside the International Convention Centre in Birmingham Saturday night when 1 of his custom TMT vans was torched outside and left smoldering.

The boxer is currently on his "Undefeated" tour, where he's speaking in front of audiences and doing meet-and-greets with fans.

We've reached out to local authorities ... so far, no word back.

There's a silver lining for Floyd here -- he lost just 1 van ... as opposed to 4 expensive cars like the last time this happened.
