Nicki Minaj Home Hit in $200k Burglary

Published | Updated

Nicki Minaj is about $200k worse for wear after a burglary at her L.A. mansion ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us the 11,500 sq. ft palace was totally trashed on the inside. The suspect or suspects knocked over and flipped furniture and items all over the house ... almost as if they were frantically looking for something.

They were successful. We're told the burglars made off with a ton of jewelry and other property, and there were clear signs of forced entry in spots around the house.

Other sources connected to the case tell us the damage looks like this was personal. They vandalized certain items in the house ... destroyed picture frames, perfume bottles, furniture ... and even cut up Nicki's clothing.

Nicki's team reported the burglary earlier this week. She was out of town. We're told police are looking for any surveillance video of the culprit, but as of now ... no suspects.

Bebe Clothing Creator Unloads Holmby Hills Crib for $30 Mil!!!

Published | Updated

The creator of bebe clothing wear finally said goodbye to property after dropping the price by a HUGE amount.

Manny Mashouf put his ridiculously beautiful Holmby Hills estate on the market back in June 2016 for $40 million.

Even prospective Holmby Hills buyers flinched, so he slashed the price by a whopping $10 mil. Apparently, that made the house affordable, and someone anted up close to $30 mil to seal the deal.

All good ... especially for the new owner who gets a sprawling 20,000 square foot oasis that includes 8 bedrooms, 13 baths, a swimming pool, billiards room and card room.

There are real winners in this deal ... realtors Mauricio Umansky, David Parnes and James Harris from The Agency repped both buyer and seller, so by our calculation their commission is around $1.5 MILLION!!!

Jessica Alba My Dad Found Me A $10 Mil Estate!!!

Published | Updated

Jessica Alba just snagged a multi-million dollar mansion, and her dad got a cut of the action.

Alba is now the Honest owner of a $10 million Bev Hills estate, and she used her dad as her real estate agent.

The Hamptons-style home is huge ... nearly 9,000 square feet, with 7 bedrooms and 8 1/2 baths.

There's the obligatory pool, guesthouse and incredible city views.

Alba bought the home from former TriStar and Orion Pictures honcho, Mike Medavoy.

As for Jessica's dad, Mark ... the way we figure, he'll split a 5% commission with Medavoy's agent, so his take should be around $250k. BTW, Medavoy pays the commission, so everyone wins.

Demi Lovato $8 Million Home Unsafe After Landslide

Published | Updated

Demi Lovato just got a taste of living in the Hollywood Hills -- a bad taste -- because her house is in danger of sliding down a cliff.

Demi's home got red tagged Monday night ... a house above the singer's was compromised by the storms and a mudslide cascaded into her driveway. The hillside above -- with a house attached -- could slide right into Demi's ... worst-case scenario.

Her house is in the Laurel Canyon area ... not too far from another home that caused chaos earlier this month when a portion of the foundation slid down the hill.

Demi bought the house for $8.3 million back in September and hasn't even moved in.

In case you're interested ... the house is 5,546 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. We're guessing she might be in the market to negotiate.

Drake Home Sale Big Phony Scam

Published | Updated

Drake got punked by an impostor who pretended to be his manager and put the word out the rapper was putting his incredible estate on the market ... and the media took the bait.

The LA Times reported Monday Drake had listed his Hidden Hills property for $19,999,900. It's an amazing property, with a grotto which matches the Playboy Mansion, a theater, game room, spa/massage room, and on and on.

Turns out, a random guy who has no association with Drake posted the house as "For sale by owner" on Zillow. A real estate agent noticed the posting and reached out to the "manager" to see if he could rep the property.

The "manager" told the agent he could rep Drake in the sale, and that's when the agent posted the listing on the Multiple Listing Service as an active listing.

The agent, Alexei Pavlov, tells TMZ he never intended to put the property on the MLS as active ... it was supposed to be in drafts while he worked out details with the "manager." But Pavlov says when he spoke with the "manager" to nail down the listing, the guy got aggressive and confessed it was a scam.

Short story ... the house isn't for sale, and the grotto will continue to be populated with hot chicks.

'Rent' Star Sues Landlord over Rent Hikes ... This Is Really Happening

Published | Updated

Former "Rent" star Daphne Rubin-Vega is having a serious case of deja vu -- she's beefing with her real-life landlord for raising her real-life rent.

In a lawsuit, Daphne and her husband say the landlord's bypassing rent control laws, and annually jacking up the monthly rent on their NYC apartment. They were paying $1,800/month in 1997, but say they shelled out $5,141.28/month in 2016.

It's gotta feel familiar for Daphne who, as Mimi Marquez in the original "Rent" cast, struggled to survive in NYC. She's suing for damages and wants a judge to rule her apartment building should be subject to rent control.

Remember the love? Apparently not in Daphne's crib.

Mary Tyler Moore Death Creates Problems for Famous House

Published | Updated

Mary Tyler Moore's death has created a big problem for a real estate company that is trying to sell the house used in her iconic TV show -- how do you sell it without creating a fan frenzy?

The exteriors of the house were featured for years on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," although interiors were shot on a Hollywood soundstage.

Get this ... the house, listed by Barry Berg and Chad Larsen with Berg Larsen Group of Coldwell Banker Burnet, went on the market 4 years ago and no one was biting. The people who bought it paid nearly $3 mil but they're trying to unload it for a skosh under $1.7 mil.

Here's the problem. MTM is an institution in Minneapolis, and Mary's death has people in the city scrambling for memories. The realtors want to hold an open house this weekend, but they don't want lookie-loos ... they want serious buyers.

So, the plan now is to discreetly tell realtors to bring clients and then quietly invite them.

Good luck.

Trump Tower Some Residents Upset Security is Messing with Chinese Food!!!

Published | Updated

Trump Tower has been a swarm of activity in the last 3 months, and it's triggered some sales and some angst over the staple of NYC -- food deliveries.

We've learned 5 apartments have been listed for sale and 3 apartments have been put up for lease this month alone. Realtors who rep units in the building tell us these numbers are high for a single month. Granted there are 238 units in the building, but 8 in one month is eyebrow-raising.

Trump's rise to the presidency has been a mixed bag for residents. The positive ... the building has enormous marquee value, and most realtors believe that makes it an even better investment over time. It's also become super secure, with the help of Secret Service.

But some residents are upset for several reasons. They say they get stopped by security all the time. And especially annoying ... it's an ordeal for guests who visit homeowners ... the security process is intense.

Worst of all, say some residents ... New York is a delivery town, from food to dry cleaning. The delivery people get frisked and bags get opened. We're told it sometimes takes 30 minutes for the items to make their way up.

And some residents say the barricades outside the building are an eyesore, and it's hard to walk anywhere around the building.

Security has eased a little since Trump moved to D.C., but there's still a heavy presence since Melania and Barron will be there full-time until June. Residents are hoping things get back to some sense of normalcy after that.

One thing we're hearing is universal ... none of this has anything to do with politics. They knew Trump owned the building when they moved in, and for the most part they like him personally.

Clint Eastwood Selling Pebble Beach Mansion For Good and Evil

Published | Updated

Clint Eastwood's Pebble Beach home is up for sale ... and rich folks looking to buy could score an iconic bonus.

Clint's 6 bed, 6,900 sq. ft mansion perched on an ocean bluff is on the market for $9.75 mil, and guess what's in the courtyard ... the Bird Girl statue featured in his 1997 flick, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil."

We're told Clint is willing to throw in the statue ... for the right price, of course.

The house was built in 1928 and even has a name -- Hacienda Este Madera, which roughly translates to "House East Wood."

Kim and Kanye Mansion Finally Looks Like a Home ... Still Work to Be Done

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem to be focused on finally finishing their mansion, and all we can say is ... it's about time.

As we reported ... 'Ye was going wild with more construction last month -- knocking down an entire wall to expand the master bedroom -- but new photos of the Hidden Hills, CA pad show it's all coming together. All 20,000 sq. ft and more of it.

It's still unclear if the couple has a completion date in mind, but recent L.A. rainstorms definitely delayed progress even more.

Still, considering Kim and Kanye bought the 8 bed, 10 bath palace in August 2014 -- and have been renovating ever since -- anything close to ready is a huge victory.

Trumps & Obamas Trigger Real Estate Boom in D.C. Hood

Published | Updated

Ivanka Trump and Barack Obama have lots of differences, but together they have turned a D.C. neighborhood upside down, creating a real estate boom.

Realtors in the Georgetown-adjacent neighborhood where Trump and Obama are now renting tell us there has been an explosion of interest from buyers and renters since moving boxes started appearing.

One realtor tells us in the 26 years of doing business in the Kalorama Heights neighborhood, he's never seen this level of interest.

One home was just listed for $7.9 mil -- a HUGE asking price -- and there have already been 4 showings in just 3 days.

Our real estate sources also say realtors have been name-dropping Trump and Obama for virtually every showing.

As they say, Location, Location, Obama, Trump.

Teresa & Joe Giudice Old Crib Crushed

Published | Updated

Teresa and Joe Giudice's former home is officially history ... actually it's really just dust now.

The pad that was once featured on 'RHNJ' has been demolished, just as the new owners promised it would be. It came down Friday and the next step is to sell the lot, we're told.

As we first told you, the new owners -- who want to remain anonymous -- made out when the Giudices went belly-up ... snatching up the pad in August for $127k.

Joe and Teresa bought it for $347k in 2005 but lost it to foreclosure during all their legal problems.

Buh-bye to the bad juju?

President Obama Fiesta De Pijamas ... At My Spanish Ambassador's Crib

Published | Updated

President Obama will stay at the Palm Springs home of one of his ambassadors ... TMZ has learned.

The Obamas will be unpacking their suitcases late Friday at the abode of outgoing US ambassador to Spain James Costos and his husband -- an interior designer -- Michael Smith, who's been the WH's decorator since '08.

The house is in Rancho Mirage, near Palm Springs, inside the Thunderbird Heights gated community ... perched at the top of the development and spread over 8 acres. It's been completely gutted and renovated since 2011 ... and looks brand spanking new.

The Obamas have stayed at James and Michael's home 4 times prior to this visit.

There will be lots of restrictions for anyone coming in or out of the property. Security wants to keep the number of people to a minimum at entry ... they'll be checking IDs too.

Even when Obama's out ... he's still getting the presidential treatment.

Oakland Raider Karl Joseph 1st Round Pick Buys House for Mom

Published | Updated

Mother's Day came in January for Karl Joseph's mom ... the Oakland Raiders rookie safety just bought her a brand new house in Florida ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The 14th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft was laser-focused on hookin' up his mom with something nice after he signed a 4-year $12 million deal ... and pulled the trigger when he found her dream home.

We spoke with Karl's agent, Chafie Fields, who tells us the home is in central Florida where he grew up after the family moved to the U.S. from Haiti.

"He comes from very humble beginnings," Fields says ... "Ultimately, his goal was being able to provide for his mom."

"He didn't want to buy himself a car. Didn't want to buy himself a house. He wanted to get his mom a house."

Fields says his team helped with the house hunt but ultimately Karl made the final call -- "He wanted to see the house for himself, so that's why we waited until after the season."

"He has brothers and sisters that still live at home. He wanted to do this for all of them."

Congrats!!!

Obamas On the Move

Published | Updated

The president and his family are just like us ... schlepping boxes when you move from one house to another.

The Obamas are packin' up and moving boxes from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. to their new rental digs near Georgetown.

They've got some art (no, not like the portrait of George Washington) and other stuff.

They're headed to Palm Springs Friday, so by the time they get back 2 weeks after the inauguration, everything should be in place.

Soulja Boy Landlord Says ... Pay Up or Get Out, You Deadbeat!!!

Published | Updated

Jan. 16, 2017 -- Reps for Soulja Boy tell us Soulja's business partner is the person who leased the house, NOT Soulja, and the rapper has no obligation to pay the landlord a cent.

Soulja Boy's not only in the market for some serious boxing lessons, he could soon be looking for a new place to live ... because he's WAY behind on rent.

Soulja leased a pad in the Hollywood Hills 3 months ago for $6k a month. His landlord tells us he's already $6k behind and counting. The landlord says when he demands rent he gets blown off.

Since he moved in, the house has been a target for trouble. Cops arrested him there last month after he violated his probation ... and earlier this week the place was burglarized.

The landlord tells us he's had it with Soulja, and if he doesn't pay up by week's end, the legal guns come out.
