Akon will be walking on water if his super baller glass floor ever gets installed -- but the contractor says it ain't happening until he gets paid, and Akon's mom stops flaking out on the plans.

Durable Steel Structures filed a lien against Akon's Georgia mansion ... claiming it's owed $36,765 for work already done on the home. Both Akon and his mother are named on the lien.

The contractor tells TMZ he's done a lot of work to design a glass floor that will make it seem like you're walking above a coral reef. He says the plan is to have LED lights projecting the reef images below the glass. Can you say P-I-M-P?

Only problem -- the contractor claims once it came time to install the floor, Akon's mom couldn't make a decision about the lighting ... so now he's left holding the bag.

Mama Akon and son also had a problem with a contractor in 2012, who sued ... claiming he was owed $51,941 for work on the same house.

Mama June may be out of a job but she just scored a sweet new house.

The "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" gravy train may have come to an abrupt halt ... but that didn't keeping June from splurging on new digs ... a 3,225 sq. ft, 4 bedroom home in Georgia. And get this (don't read if you're from CA or NY -- it's too painful) ... she paid $149K.

The house may look familiar ... it's the same one she scoped out with convicted child molester Mark McDaniel last September, with Honey Boo Boo in tow.

That could torpedo the truce between Chickadee and June, but she might get over it once she sees the pool.

Pollard, who won a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2012 invented a bathroom counter-top organizer last year called the "Smart Sink Tray" that he says lets was inspired by the tiny sinks out in Baltimore.

"I first thought it up back in 2012 ... I'm a germaphobe and the counter space in Baltimore was so limited that I wanted something to expand it."

His Howie Mandelness has led to cold hard cash with Pollard telling us this holiday season business was BOOMING for the "Smart Sink Tray" -- with a sales spike of nearly 60%.

"It was really cool to see the orders come in. The east coast went crazy for it."

And Pollard says things are only looking up from here ... 'cause the tray has gotten so popular, it's drawn interest from hotels all over the country and outdoor retailer Camping World.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks is way better with money than convicted hubby Apollo Nida ... she raked in major dough selling one of her Georgia homes.

Sources close to Phaedra tell TMZ she scored over $27K in profit when she sold her 9,148 sq-ft home last fall -- a huge financial boost when you consider Apollo had just started his 8-year prison stretch for money laundering and check fraud.

She originally snagged the 5 bedroom/5 bath property for $322K on her own back in 2001, and let it go last October for $349K. Great timing for some extra scratch -- Parks dropped strong hints last month she's going to divorce Nida.

But here's the rub, the house never got built and Key eventually moved out of town ... but according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Johnson never paid the design company what it claims it was owed for drawing up the blueprints.

Now, a collection agency is on Key's ass -- looking to recover more than $40k in back payments for the mansion that never was.

But Johnson says it's all a baseless money grab -- claiming the blueprints were drawn up by his architect, not the designer ... and he doesn't believe he owes the designer a single cent.

"Be careful who you deal with. Everybody's looking for a buck. You can't get paid for work you didn't do."

Rapper Young Jeezy was so confident of beating the rap in his weapons case, he went and dropped a cool $1.5M on a fly new Georgia mansion ... a MONTH before learning his fate.

Kim's former sex tape partner just wrote a $2.7 million offer to buy a Hidden Hills mansion 8 doors down from Kim and Kanye.

Ray and his business manager, David Weintraub, perused the grounds Friday afternoon and then wrote the offer. BTW, it's pretty baller ... there's even 3 horse stalls.

As for why he wants to live so close to Kim, Ray says it's already his hood. He lived in the vicinity longer than Kim so if anything she's the carpetbagger.

How much would you pay to watch Ray J knock at Kim's door for a cup of sugar and Kanye answers.

Jennifer Lopez passed the "Vegas Residency Test" with flying colors on New Year's Eve, and in the process scored more than $400K.

Our Vegas sources tell us ... Lopez raked in $410,000 for her NYE performance at Caesars Palace, plus she gets back end. Even though the show was sold out, the venue only netted slightly more than $600K.

It's still good, and our sources say the point of the gig was to see if Lopez was a sufficient draw for a full-on residency.

To put Lopez's payday in context, Britney makes around $475K a show with her new contract.

We're told Caesars was pleased.

Miley Cyrus has been burglarized for the THIRD time ... and this time the thief made off with a bundle.

We're told the singer's Toluca Lake home was hit December 16 and the thief made off with a large amount of both her and her brother's personal property. One law enforcement source says the thief got Miley's bank card.

We're told the thief broke into the home. We don't know how.

But cops think they got their man. Rusty Edward Sellner was charged with felony first-degree residential burglary, receiving stolen property and grand theft. He pled not guilty Wednesday.

This is the third time Miley has been hit in a little more than a year. Last June two thieves broke into Miley's home and got her Maserati, jewelry and other items. They were both arrested and convicted.

Nicholas Sparks and his wife may have announced their separation this week, but they are so far down the road to divorce she's already bought her own house ... TMZ has learned.

Catherine became the owner of a $1.1 million mansion on December 9. It's 2 1/2 miles from the Sparks family home, which makes sense ... they have 5 kids together. The house sits on 4 acres of lakefront property.

As TMZ reported ... Nicholas and Catherine signed a "postmarital agreement" back in August, which indicates they have reached a property settlement deal. They both waived their right to alimony.

Teresa and Joe Giudice just DRASTICALLY reduced the asking price for their New Jersey mansion, because they MUST move out stat for cheaper digs.

The convicted couple just slashed half a mil off the asking price. But the situation is more dire than it seems. They had initially listed the house for $3.99 million, but there were no takers, so in November they lowered the price by $500,000. Still no takers.

The latest cut brings the asking price to a relatively reasonable $2.99 mil. Their realtor believes that should do the trick.
