Scott Weiland Will Filed ... Ex-Wife Wants to Call the Shots
The woman Scott Weiland divorced nearly 9 years ago, and often battled over his drug use, is asking the courts to name her the executor of his will ... TMZ has learned.
Mary Forsberg filed docs in L.A. saying Scott himself named her as executor, and she's filed a will with his signature as proof. Here's the catch ... the will was written in April 2007. That's right around the time Scott and Mary's marriage was falling apart, and when he was in the throes of addiction.
Mary wrote a memoir called 'Fall to Pieces' about life with Scott and his battles with drugs.
The docs say Scott had about $2 million in assets as part of his estate. He also created a trust during his lifetime that has undisclosed assets.
Scott's widow Jamie Wachtel was with him for 2 years before his death, and could still contest Forsberg's filing.

So do you think Kachinsky was curious enough to watch the Netflix series?

'Making A Murderer' Steven Avery The Money's Starting To Roll In
If justice can be bought, "Making A Murderer" convicts Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey are one step closer to getting out of prison.
We've learned the family set up a website soliciting donations to mount a new legal challenge, with the help of the hacker group 'Anonymous,' which created the website Opaverydassey.com.
We're told viewers of the documentary are responding by opening their wallets. So far the family has collected $2,100 through the site and another $1,200 sent to the Avery family home.
The family, we're told, is upset because someone's been setting up fake websites soliciting money, which they believe has discouraged people from contributing. But they're starting to see a steady flow.
We're told the money is going for legal fees, mostly for Brendan, because he's the only one with an attorney. Steven is repping himself. They're hoping to get more so they can hire a PI.

Sean Kingston Case Closed in Crazy Kidnapping Caper
Sean Kingston's claims he was kidnapped in a jewelry dispute have fallen on deaf ears, because the LAPD is chalking it up to a simple business disagreement.
Law enforcement sources tell us, Kingston's story just doesn't ring true ... that he met a jeweler in downtown L.A. in the middle of the night to settle a dispute over a $185k watch. Kingston claims the jeweler and his goons took the watch, locked him in a car at gunpoint and drove off, eventually dumping him in the street.
Our sources say the story didn't make a whole lot of sense ... why would Sean be making business deals in the middle of the night in a desolate area? It seems unclear so cops are calling it a civil business dispute.
Frankly, the whole story is too confusing for words, so just let Raquel explain it you.

'Making A Murderer' Lawyer Former Client's Mom He Sold My Son Down the River
The man who represented the nephew of "Making A Murderer" defendant Steven Avery is on the hot seat again ... over another deal he cut with a man who says he's innocent.
Attorney Len Kachinsky represented David Reimer in 2009, who was accused of shaking his baby to death. Reimer's mother, Lynn, claims Kachinsky pressured her son to cop a no contest plea to reckless homicide and child abuse. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Lynn claims her son got railroaded by Kachinsky, and that he never even bothered to check out the 2 1/2 month old baby's mother, whom Lynn says was home at the exact time the baby died.
And now the conspiracy claim ... Lynn says she filed a complaint with the State Bar, and all of a sudden cops started showing up at her home and spying on her. She apparently believes cops wanted to close out the case and nail someone, and Kachinsky facilitated that with his own client.
Kachinsky is under fire for his representation of Brendan Dassey, who's serving a life sentence for the murder of Teresa Halbach. According to the documentary, Kachinsky got his PI to force a written confession and then gave cops a heads up to question the 16-year-old without a lawyer present.
We spoke with Kachinsky, who said he and his client agreed the plea was appropriate because Reimer "didn't stand much of a chance in trial." He also says he's not involved in harassing Lynn.
Lynn wants a restraining order against Kachinsky. A hearing is set for January 27th.

Ken Kratz, the prosecutor who sent "Making a Murderer" defendant Steven Avery to prison for life, says if scientists develop a test showing the incriminating blood came from a vial, he should get a new trial.
Kratz appeared Monday on "TMZ Live," and we asked him about the defense argument that cops took Avery's blood from a vile and planted it at the murder scene. Kratz opened the prison door just a crack.

'Making a Murderer' Steven Avery You Framed Me and Stole My Gas!!!
Steven Avery, the man at the center of the incredible documentary, "Making A Murderer," filed legal docs saying the cops violated his civil rights by damaging his car and using too much gas.
Avery, who's serving a life sentence for the murder of Teresa Halbach, claimed in court documents -- filed in 2012 and obtained by TMZ -- that the cops damaged his 1993 Pontiac Grand Am when they seized it for the murder trial.
Avery, who repped himself, claimed when the car was returned, it was in disrepair. He says the alternator and battery needed replacing, the shifter on the transmission was bent and had to be repaired, and "the gas tank was missing 3/4 of a tank of gas when it had been full before it was taken."
The now-famous defendant was asking for $455 for the damage and "used gas." He also asked for $250,000 in punitive damages. He lost the case.
In a separate case he sued for seizing his wood cabinet book case, 4 paperback books, a handset for a cordless telephone and an AC power cord.
You'd think he'd have bigger fish to fry.

Tyga Relentlessly Texted 14-Yr-Old ... Gloria Allred Claims
Gloria Allred says her 14-year-old client has been forced to reveal her identity after Tyga repeatedly contacted her, and then OK! ran a story about it, claiming Kylie Jenner busted him.
Allred held a news conference in NYC with the teenager, a model named Molly O'Malia ... who claims Tyga initiated the convo with her, and not the other way around.
Allred launched an attack against OK! because she says the magazine poorly pixelated Molly's image. She says people figured out it was Molly, and have been hounding her about allegedly coming between Kylie and Tyga.
Molly, who's also an aspiring singer, claims Tyga reached out to her ... first through Instagram ... and she only responded because she thought it was about her music. She says she got skeeved out though when he allegedly asked to FaceTime.
Allred says the magazine's claim the two were "hooking up" is not true and what's more, portrays Molly "in a completely false light" -- and exploited a minor. Despite that ... there was no talk of a lawsuit.
Tyga's reps didn't have a comment.

James Caan My Estranged Wife's Ruining My Career
James Caan says his estranged wife is hammering him for money to the point he has to take crappy roles just to make enough money to feed the beast.
Caan just filed legal docs in his divorce case, claiming he wants to retire but estranged wife Linda Caan is blowing through his savings and he's forced to keep working to pay the bills.
Caan, who has started in epic movies including "The Godfather," says he has medical issues and at 75 wants to hang it up.
What he says is particularly galling is that he feels she's forcing him to sully his reputation, saying, "I am no longer willing to take parts in films and/or television shows which detract from the 50 years I have spent building my reputation."
Caan says just this past summer, he was forced to do a film called, "Sicilian Vampire." He says it was humiliating ... the premiere was in NYC and only 50 people showed.
As for what he's currently paying ... $13,000 a month in child support for their 2 children. It appears she's asking for more money and he's filed these documents in response.
Caan tells TMZ he harbors no ill will, saying, "Linda is a beautiful woman who gave me 2 beautiful sons which helped enrich my life tremendously, and I'll always be indebted to her for that."
