An anonymous citizen wrote a letter, obtained by TMZ, to Judge Denise Cote last week, and begged her to see him as a "perverted and deviant sexual predator whom in my opinion should be shown no mercy by the court."

The concerned citizen objected to Weiner's attorney portraying him as a "sick man, incapable of distinguishing rights from wrong and having no control over his own behavior." The angry NYer insisted Weiner is a "danger to our society" and added, showing him leniency would send the wrong message that even disgraced elected officials get a pass in court.

The final shot ... the citizen described the ex-U.S. Congressman as an "average performer with little care for his constituency, while hiding his dark and perverse secrets."

To be fair, another citizen wrote the judge and asked her to go easy on Weiner because he deserves a "pathway to righteousness and a chance to rebuild his life." He suggested house arrest would be best.

Kathy Griffin's neighbor war is so intense now, she's run to court to get protection from him -- but fears some serious consequences for doing so.

According to court docs, Kathy filed for a restraining order against Jeffrey Mezger ... the neighbor who went off on her and her bf, just over a week ago, with an expletive laced rant. Mezger shouted from his backyard on Sept. 16 over to Kathy and her boyfriend, Randy Bick.

Mezger was recorded saying, "Hey Randy, go f**k yourself ... you're stuck with a f**king bald dy** who Donald Trump kind of put the heat on. Now you're calling the cops? F**k you and f**k Kathy." Randy had apparently called police earlier to make a noise complaint.

In the docs, Kathy admits she's had several issues with Mezger over the last year -- including him allegedly throwing garbage in her yard, and blaring Johnny Cash tunes in the direction of Kathy's home. Good taste in music aside ... Kathy's fed up with the annoyances.

Tom Wopat got handsy with a minor -- a 16-year-old actress -- on the set of his play ... according to authorities who've added new charges against him.

Police say they interviewed the girl 2 weeks after the ex 'Dukes of Hazzard' star was arrested in Waltham, Mass. for felony indecent assault -- he allegedly put his finger in a woman's butt crack. According to new docs, he also poked a minor in her stomach with his finger. The alleged victim was one of his co-stars on the production of "42nd Street."

According to the docs, he told his underage co-star, "I'm a creepy old man, you're really talented and really cute." She told cops she ignored him, but his words made her uncomfortable.

Shortly after that exchange, during rehearsal, she says he struck her butt with his script ... and said, "Nice butt." As for poking her in the stomach -- she says she was especially creeped out because she was wearing a cropped top, and he touched her bare skin.

The alleged victim says an adult on-set told Wopat, "Don't flirt with this girl, she's only 16." She claims Wopat responded, "Don't worry because my wife is 17 years younger than me so I'm good."

He's now facing a new indecent assault and battery charge for the alleged incident ... as well as 2 additional charges of accosting and annoying.

Anthony Weiner was done dirty by the judge who gave him 21 months in prison ... at least that's how he and his lawyers see it.

In fact, Weiner's team thinks he shouldn't have gotten ANY time behind bars, especially because the judge acknowledged Weiner's treatment program has shown promise. His attorney Arlo Devlin-Brown says the judge chose to make an example out of Weiner purely because of his celebrity.

Prosecutors had recommended up to 27 months, and the judge could have given Weiner up to 10 years -- so you'd think he'd be grateful for the 21-month sentence. Apparently not.

As Devlin-Brown puts it ... the judge used Weiner to send a message to other famous people to not follow his footsteps, but this "has resulted in a punishment more severe than it had to be given the unusual facts and circumstances of this case."

Audrina Patridge's estranged husband, Corey Bohan, is off the hook with Orange County prosecutors when it comes to domestic battery ... TMZ has learned.

The D.A.'s Office says it will not prosecute Bohan based on the report Audrina made to cops after a Sept. 6 incident. As we first reported ... Audrina claims Corey verbally belittled her and her mother, and snatched her phone out of her hand while she was recording his rant.

Despite her claims, the D.A. says there was not enough evidence to go forward with prosecution.

Anthony Weiner learned his fate ... he's going to federal lockup for just under 2 years.

The ex U.S. Congressman was sentenced in Manhattan for transferring obscene material to a minor. Prosecutors had recommended a 27-month sentence, and the judge could have given him as much as 10 years ... so the 21 months might be the best possible outcome for Weiner.

However, the judge admonished him repeatedly during sentencing. He said Weiner "has a disease that involves sexual compulsivity; some call it a sex addiction." Weiner wept openly in court during the hearing.

Weiner pled guilty in May to sexting with a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. In court today, the judge said Weiner still has a chance to contribute to society if he continues getting treatment for his illness.

He will have to register as a sex offender once he gets out, and he'll be under supervised released. He'll also be under a computer Internet monitoring program.

Weiner has to surrender by Nov. 6 to enter prison.

Kevin Hart doesn't have a lock on drama this week -- his ex-wife Torrei's luxury whip was destroyed while she was at work ... TMZ has learned.

Torrei was shooting her new film, "Perfectly Single," this week on location in L.A. She rolled up in her brand new 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 and parked it on the street. When she came back someone had unleashed their fury on her $70k ride.

Several windows were smashed in, but nothing was stolen. We're told the crew noticed a suspicious white car circling the area for about an hour, and a guy riding by on a bicycle flashed a gun.

Drake helped lay his longtime friend, Anthony "Fif" Soares, to rest this weekend ... this after the guy was brutally gunned down in Toronto.

Drake attended Fif's funeral service Saturday at the Ogden Funeral Home chapel in Scarborough, Ontario ... and later traveled to the Duffin Meadows Cemetery where he served as one of the pallbearers for the casket.

Eyewitnesses tell us Drake did not speak at the procession, and mostly kept to himself. You can tell from the video he's in deep mourning over Soares' death ... who was just killed a couple weeks ago.

As we reported ... Soares was gunned down in his apartment lobby by 2 unidentified men. Police released surveillance video of the murder ... and it graphically shows him being shot.

Audrina Patridge met face-to-face with her estranged hubby, Corey Bohan, this weekend to drop off their 1-year-old daughter for a dad visit ... this after filing for divorce and claiming domestic abuse.

Paps got Audrina and Corey Sunday morning at a neutral location in the Orange County, which was agreed to through a judge. We're told Corey arrived first, and Audrina showed up with their kid, Kirra, and a friend about 10 minutes later to make the exchange.

You can see them heading back to the parking lot together -- with Audrina slightly keeping her distance from Corey as she walks ahead. Still, it's interesting she's comfortable meeting with him at all considering everything she's alleged.

TMZ broke the story ... Audrina filed for divorce and got a restraining order, claiming Corey shoved her, called her a "c**t" and planted cameras to spy on her. Corey denies installing the cameras, and claims her dad physically threatened him.

8:07 AM PT -- Law enforcement tells us multiple people forced their way into Derulo's home, possibly breaking a door and window. We're told they beelined it for one room where they stole $300,000 in cash and jewelry. At some point later in the day, the maid discovered something was amiss. Cops believed it may be an inside job because the burglars only hit one room. And, we're told, there may be surveillance video.

Jason Derulo is the latest celebrity to have his house looted in a string of L.A. burglaries ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... a member of the singer's team went to his home Friday afternoon and noticed something was amiss. It appeared someone had entered and taken items from the house.

Cops were called to Derulo's pad and took a burglary report.

Cops are tight lipped on how the burglar got into the house and what specifically was stolen. Jason was out of town, and cops are waiting for him to return to ID the missing items.

As we've reported ... celeb burglaries in L.A. have been on the rise this year, and it looks like Jason's joined the club.

Usher is going about his life ... seemingly undeterred by 4 people who are suing him for allegedly exposing them to genital herpes.

The singer was at Bootsy Bellows in WeHo Saturday night to celebrate Jermaine Dupri's 44th birthday. Lots of people were there ... notably Diddy and Mariah Carey.

The people suing Usher are turning up the heat. The male accuser now says he had sexual contact with the singer at a Koreatown spa in L.A. One of the female accusers claims she actually contracted genital herpes and delivered stillborn twins.

Authorities who are on the hunt for the Kevin Hart extortionists now believe they will catch the culprits ... based on a treasure trove of evidence they've just seized.

TMZ broke the story, search warrants have already been executed and now we know the information authorities have amassed connects multiple people they believe were involved in the plot to squeeze 7 figures from Hart in return for keeping the sex tape secret.

We're told phone records seized are critical ... showing who called who and when. But we know authorities also have their sights set on cellphones and computer hard drives.

As for who the culprits are ... authorities are keeping that close to the vest, but we're told none of the suspects are part of Kevin's world. We're told there were a number of people partying with Kevin and sex tape partner Montia Sabbag, and most if not all of them knew her, but Kevin knew none of them.

We're told Sabbag and her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, are scheduled to meet with investigators, but not before next Wednesday. You would think they'd want to meet her earlier, but that's not the case.

Audrina Patridge is retreating to the comforts of home -- not hers, but her parents' -- while her nasty divorce from Corey Bohan plays out.

We got these pics of Audrina unloading a bunch of stuff at Mom and Dad's crib in Orange County -- and it looks like she's planning to hunker down for a while. She had a bunch of baby supplies for her 15-month old daughter, Kirra Max.

Facebook created a workplace where employees openly mocked a guy for being as ancient as -- wait for it -- 50 years old ... at least according to the ex-worker who's suing.

Gary Glouner says he worked under the Facebook umbrella for 2 years, and during that time was the butt of many ageist jokes. According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, the age cracks included:

- "Old people shouldn't be working at Facebook; they just don't relate"
- "Old people are just creepy"
- "Old people don't belong at Facebook"

Glouner says Mark Zuckerberg himself made public comments in 2007 where he said, "Young people are just smarter." He adds ... the ageism was institutional because during an HR presentation they displayed a chart highlighting the low energy of employees in their 50s.

Worst of all, he says his co-workers in their 20s and 30s always got cake and group celebrations -- while he got bupkis. Glouner says his boss told him they didn't want to embarrass him by highlighting his advanced age. Damn. No cake?

Authorities have already executed search warrants on multiple people suspected in the plot to extort Kevin Hart over the sex tape ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us, a judge signed the warrants earlier this week and they were executed almost immediately. We're told the information and items seized have already yielded results and have helped close in on the people who demanded 7 figures from Hart to keep the tape silent.

We're told one of the key items is phone records, but also computer hard drives and other electronics.

5:57 PM PT -- Pattiz tells TMZ, “This guy must be crazy. I’ve never met alone with him. I didn't hire him or fire him. I barely know who he is. The fact that I'm a law enforcement reserve is well known as I have public service awards in my office.

He adds, "I didn't and would never act in the manner that's been described. We have received no lawsuit but I presume this is in response to our letting him know today that we are going to sue him. His allegations are absurd.”

An attorney for Podcast One tells us they're suing Hernandez for stealing intellectual property -- and they have no idea why he was canned from his most recent job.

Norm Pattiz, the entrepreneur behind PodcastOne and Westwood One, had a bad habit of whipping out a loaded gun and knife during meetings with a producer ... according to a lawsuit.

Raymond Hernandez says Pattiz brandished a handgun in their office on multiple occasions, and also bragged about his deep ties with law enforcement. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, he says the broadcasting mogul would sometimes place the gun on his desk with the barrel pointed at Hernandez.

According to the suit, the boss man flaunted the firepower in order to intimidate Hernandez -- who says he was told to juice the numbers on podcast downloads in order to boost advertising revenue. Hernandez says he let it be known around the office he wasn't comfortable fudging numbers, and was fired shortly thereafter.

Hernandez says the gun play was also motivated by revenge. Last year, comedian Heather McDonald aired a recording of Pattiz sexually harassing her while she was on the job -- he made a comment about supporting her breasts. In the docs, Hernandez says Pattiz thinks he leaked the audio to Heather, and eventually pressured Hernandez's new employer to 86 him.

Hernandez, with his attorney Rob Reichman, is suing Pattiz for assault, wrongful termination and whistleblower retaliation.
