Rich Homie Quan was hitting the lean hard before suffering a seizure during a video shoot.

TMZ broke the story ... Quan was rushed to the hospital yesterday in ATL after he collapsed, hitting his head on the ground and suffering the seizure. His rep called it heat exhaustion.

But sources close to the rapper think lean -- aka sizzurp -- may have played a part. We're told Quan was on a lean binge for days, and stopped just 3 days before the seizure.

The drug can reportedly stay in your system for up to 4 days -- even longer depending on the dose ... and we're told he was a heavy abuser.

Quan's not shy about his love for lean ... he's posted videos that show him mixing lean on an airplane and in a shopping mall.

It's unclear if he's willing -- or able -- to connect the dots.

Miley Cyrus taught her teen audience in London a very important lesson Tuesday night -- 1) quit smoking cigarettes ... and start smoking weed instead ... because weed will keep you young and get you laid.

Cyrus was performing at the O2 arena when she smelled cigarette smoke and went off on a bizarre rant about how she no longer smokes cigarettes because they're bad for her health and her looks ... but WEED is a whole other story ...

Devastating blow to the Hollywood fitness craze known as Barry's Bootcamp -- the married couple behind the company has crumbled in epic fashion ... amid allegations of terrifying violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and more.

43-year-old Rachel Mumford has filed for divorce from 58-year-old John Mumford -- the man who provided the seed money in 1998 -- citing irreconcilable differences ... and that's just the beginning.

Rachel just got a restraining order, after accusing John in legal docs of physically abusing her for years. She also claims he's been nursing a nasty ecstasy and booze habit that's put not only both of them in danger, but the couple's children as well.

The straw that broke the camel's back -- Rachel claims she and John went to Paris last month, and John flipped out over text messages he read on her phone ... grabbed her, threw her against their hotel room walls, and attempted to smother her on the bed.

Rachel and John were married back in 1997 and have two minor children. Rachel wants physical custody of their kids while John gets help for his drug and booze problems.

2 Chainz is one cool cat ... coming face-to-face with a judge in a FELONY drug case and not only blowing kisses in court, but wooing the judge over to the point hizzoner gave Chainz some bling.

The rapper copped a plea in his drug case -- where he was busted at LAX last June for carrying codeine in one of his bags.

Chainz, with his lawyer, Leonard Levine, pled guilty to misdemeanor drug possession and that's all she wrote.

He got probation, but he got something else. Judge Keith Schwartz gave Chainz a sobriety bracelet.

Giving booze to a bunch of horny kids living in the American wilderness sounds like a pretty bad idea ... unless it's for the Alaskan reality show "Slednecks" ... which struck gold when a CRAZY brawl broke out during a party scene.

Production sources tell us ... "Slednecks" (which used to be called "Buckwild") staged the party inside a barn that doubled for a rickety nightclub. There was lotsa liquor for the cast and a bunch of yocals.

Master P's estranged wife says the rapper is straight up lying when he says she does drugs in front of their kids ... and claims it's all part of P's attempt to brainwash their kids against her.

Sonya Miller is reacting to last night's comments from her estranged husband, telling a TMZ photog he'd give her whatever she wanted in their divorce ... as long as she got off drugs.

But Miller says she is not on drugs and that she's never done drugs in front of her kids. She says she feels horrible her kids claims she's on drugs, and feels P brainwashed them.

Miller claims P is just using their kids as pawns, saying, "When I filed divorce, that’s when he came and took my kids ... I was the one dealing with and raising those seven kids when he was running the streets."

Edie Brickell had a "strong odor of alcohol on her breath" during the heated argument that turned physical last week with hubby Paul Simon, this according to local police.

Simon and Brickell were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute at their Connecticut home last weekend.

The New Canaan police report, which was obtained by the Stamford Advocate, says Brickell told police Simon did something that "broke her heart." It goes on to say Simon shoved Brickell and she slapped him in response. That's when he called 911 ... but hung up before speaking to anyone.

Brickell told police Simon "was acting like a spoiled baby by calling 911 and that he did not care about their children." The report says Edie had "a strong odor of alcohol on her breath" and became agitated at times.

Master P is willing to give his estranged wife whatever she wants in their divorce, he just wants one thing in return ... for her to get off drugs.

6:18 A.M. PDT -- The inquest into Geldof's death just ended in Kent. Coroner Roger Hatch says the post mortem shows Geldof used heroin shortly before she died ... and that the drug is "likely to have played a role in her death." Hatch also said Peaches' body was found on her bed by her husband.

Peaches Geldof died as the result of a heroin overdose ... according to a London newspaper that says the cause of death will be officially revealed tomorrow at an inquest.

Geldof -- daughter of rocker Bob Geldof -- was found dead in her Kent home April 7. Authorities called it a "non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death" ... but an autopsy proved inconclusive because the coroner didn't have the results of the toxicology tests.

The Times of London reports the tox report will show she died from an overdose of heroin. Geldof's mother, Paula Yates, died from an accidental heroin overdose in 2000.

The Times' report angered a Kent city official ... who told TMZ the toxicology results were supposed to be confidential until tomorrow's inquest, saying "if I find out who leaked it I will cut their balls off."

Party's over for Toronto Mayor Rob Ford ... who says he is going to get treatment to "deal with his issues" -- even though he's right in the middle of a re-election campaign.

Ford's decision comes just days after a Toronto bar patron recorded him ranting and cussing about a political opponent on Monday night. The Mayor was reportedly heard saying he'd like to "f****** jam her."

Ford told a Toronto columnist he is "ready to take a break" and "get help."

The mayor was not specific about what kind of treatment -- inpatient or outpatient -- he would be getting. As for the campaign ... he said his team is urging him to stay in the race.

The writers and editors of High Times magazine are probably firing up a celebratory bowl right now ... because a judge just helped them crush a literary competitor.

We broke the story ... High Times -- which devotes itself to all things weed -- sued a competing magazine known as Mile High Times -- saying readers would be unfairly confused.

It wasn't much of a fight ... Mile High Times essentially threw in the towel, agreeing to stop using the phrase "high times" and destroying all publications and websites that use those words. Plus, it can't use other pot-themed phrases made popular by High Times, including "Cannabis Cup."

But, hey, it can use the words "mile high" as much as it wants.

Lil Za was caught red-handed with drugs in Justin Bieber's house in January ... and he bragged he gives young girls drugs to "satisfy" them ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

When Justin's house was searched in January and cops caught Za with Ecstasy and Oxycodone, he bragged to cops that he gave girls MDMA because they "love it." The Probation Dept. wrote a report filed with the court saying, "It appears he keeps the drugs to satisfy young girls that he is around."

And this is rich ... Za bragged to cops when he was arrested ... the MDMA was the good stuff, or as he put it, "Pure MDMA," which he also referred to as "purple moon rocks."

Za told cops he was Bieber's "personal assistant" ... so much for his rap career.

Lil Za just struck a plea deal in his felony drug and vandalism case ... pleading no contest to felony drug possession ... but if he follows the rules ... the judge will cut him a break.

TMZ broke the story ... Za was charged with 2 counts of felony drug possession -- for Ecstasy and Oxycodone -- after cops found drugs near him during their raid in January at Justin Bieber's house.

Za has to do 20 hours of Caltrans labor -- picking up trash. And he has to complete a drug program. Once he completes both requirements, the felony will be reduced to a misdemeanor.

Za -- who is repped by attorney Shawn Holley -- also pled no contest to misdemeanor vandalism for breaking the jailhouse telephone. He has to pay $600 for the phone.

We’ve SEEN Justin Bieber with sizzurp, but we’ve never heard him sing about it ... until now! Who knew the perfect metaphor for love was sitting at the bottom of a styrofoam double cup?

The answer is absolutely no one. Except Bieber -- such a romantic.

Justin Bieber's so gangsta' these days, he's now droppin' sizzurp similes to describe his interpretation of "love."

The Biebs posted two new songs to SoundCloud -- under the ridiculous name Sir Bizzle -- one of which is an atrocious ballad called "We Were Born for This."

Biebs has never included sizzurp in his music before ... but threw a reference in his new song:

As TMZ first reported, Bieber has a long connection with sizzurp ... having once been caught on camera in an ATL nightclub holding a double cup.

It's no secret that Billy Joel used to hit the bottle pretty hard, but now he's revealed that he once tried heroin ... and it sounds like it scared the crap out of him.

Joel was chatting with Howard Stern on Monday night at a live "Town Hall" from New York's Cutting Room club. The Piano Man performed with the likes of Pink, Melissa Etheridge and Tony Bennett.

During a Q&A, Joel offered up the heroin story, telling Stern, "This was back in the late Seventies, I think. We were in Amsterdam, and there was all this stuff going on, so I said 'Let me see what this is like.'"

He continued, "It got me so high I didn't know how to deal with it. You just get way out, just go to another place, and you're into the blues. All you want to hear is the blues. You start drooling, and you get sick."
