Sources tell us the Network doesn't want to introduce a new host for the few weeks leading up to the Olympics. So NBC's plan A -- cherry picking shows from Conan's vault.

Here's the "screw you" part of the equation -- NBC can pick shows in which Conan does not trash the network and does not appear bitter. NBC is hoping the animosity between Conan and NBC will fade a bit.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office just charged Ames with receiving stolen property -- Lindsay Lohan's stolen necklace. Prosecutors say it's the very same necklace Ames stupidly wore to court in November.

A detective confiscated the necklace in the courtroom and now she's been charged. Ames was also charged with a second count of receiving stolen property over a leather jacket belonging to Paris Hilton ... but she didn't wear that one to court.

Conan O'Brien and NBC worked out their final conflict hours ago and have reached a $45 million settlement ... and we've learned it's a sweeter deal for Conan than anyone thought.

Network sources tell TMZ the "mitigation" clause was taken off the table. Translation -- Conan will get a severance of $32.5 million, regardless of whether he gets another hosting gig. Not bad for seven months work.

As we first reported, NBC will pay $7.5 million to Conan's "Tonight Show" staff -- and our sources believe the network added several thousand more to the pot at the last minute.

In addition, NBC will pay a whopping $4.5 million to the executive producer.

Conan has agreed he will not take another hosting gig 'till September at the earliest.

Conan's last show is Friday. We're told NBC hasn't decided who will replace Conan for the period between Monday and the Winter Olympics.

The guy who was led out of "American Idol" in handcuffs on last night's show got a lucky break after the cameras stopped rolling -- producers let the guy off the hook.

TMZ has learned 28-year-old Jarrod Norrell -- who was manhandled by security when he refused to leave his audition -- was escorted out of the Orlando, Florida building ... but did not go to jail.

Cops tell TMZ, that at the request of "A.I." producers, Norrell only received a threat -- meaning that if he returned to the auditions he would have been arrested.

Markice "Kesan" Moore -- the MTV reality star accused of brutally beating his one-year-old daughter -- has been released on $20,000 bail.

Moore, who was on "From G's to Gents," is accused of breaking both of his infant daughter's arms, one leg, 3 ribs and a collarbone.

Moore told TMZ the only thing he should be held accountable for is the broken wrist his daughter suffered when she fell out of her bed in July.

Conan O'Brien's negotiations with NBC are dragging on ....

Sources say they thought the deal would be wrapped up Wednesday night, but it didn't happen. As we reported, the outstanding issue involves an additional $600,000 in severance Conan wants NBC to pay his staff.

We're told NBC has made it clear to Conan -- if he agrees not to raise other issues, NBC will capitulate on giving the staff more money.

Sources now say they think a deal can be struck Thursday morning. We'll see.

NBC has already agreed to pay Conan $32.5 million. His executive producer will get $4.5 million and the rest of the staff will get a total of $7.5 million.

In a letter sent to Conan's office by Red Klotz, the president of the Washington Generals, Red asks Conan and Andy to suit up with the team for the remainder of the 2010 season ... after team scouts learned the duo "may be available over the next several months."

Klotz believes the team would benefit from "[Conan's] height and Andy's lane-clogging potential" -- but "can't guarantee any immediate wins."

Sadly, Klotz isn't trying to draft the Masturbating Bear ... we hear he's a very accurate shooter.

The Last Chance Animal Rescue Fund tells TMZ Michael (right) adopted a dog named Abbey (left) around Christmas for GF Kate Major -- but after the cute, cuddly critter tore up their place, they called in to complain.

We're told Michael eventually dropped the dog off at the vet for heart worm treatment ... and never came back.

The pup was eventually given the "Abandoned" stamp after 10 days at the vet and was returned to LCARF, where it was adopted by another family.

When you think about it ... that dog really dodged a bullet.

UPDATE: Kate Major tells TMZ, "We rescued the dog and the dog had a lot more problems and they did not make us aware of the issues. The dog destroyed the house ... the shelter told us they had someone else to adopt. It's pathetic that someone needs to use press to get their rescue shelter in the news."

Cops were called to the scene to investigate.

We're told Flav suffered no major injuries.

No word on the other driver.

Flav's car (right) was towed away from the scene -- and the rapper rode shotgun in the tow-truck.

It's all over an incident featured on the MTV reality show -- where Ronnie was arrested after bragging about knocking out some guy in "one shot." Yesterday, Ronnie and GF Sammi "Sweetheart" were on B100 in Davenport, Iowa, where they said, "The case is dismissed, all the charges were dropped."

But according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's office, the investigation is ongoing -- and the fist pumping reality star still faces a charge of 3rd degree aggravated assault.

Despite the victim -- a guy named Stephen Izzo -- telling TMZ he's going to show up to Ronnie's court date in a couple weeks, we're told no date has actually been set.

TMZ has obtained the signed court order. The judge says Charlie can communicate with Brooke for the time she is in the hospital. It further provides that Charlie "shall terminate any contact immediately upon the request of Ms. Sheen or any of her health care providers."

According to the order, Charlie can't harass Brooke.

As we first reported, Brooke was admitted to ICU today with a fever of 105 degrees and doctors believe she has pneumonia.

UPDATE: TMZ has confirmed, Brooke does indeed have pneumonia and is still in ICU. And, we've learned, the lawyers in the case will meet with the Aspen judge tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM to discuss the status of the case and when the hearing on the protective order will take place.

Conan O'Brien and NBC are one issue away from sealing a settlement deal -- and the ball is in Conan's court.

Conan has asked for $600,000 more in severance money for his staff. Sources tell TMZ NBC has told Conan's lawyers they will ante up something extra, but only if this is Conan's final demand.

As we first reported, NBC has already offered to pay Conan's staff a total $7.5 million. And his E.P. will rake in $4.5 mil himself and that's not part of the $7.5 mil.

A source close to the negotiations tells TMZ ... even if the network has to pay $600,000 more... it will still make money with the deal, considering they project they could be $45 million ahead if Conan leaves and Jay retakes the helm of "The Tonight Show" (because Jay would make $40 mil in a year and Conan is projected to lose $5 mil).

A network source says he expects it will all be a done deal tonight.

We're told Brooke will not be released today and doctors believe she has pneumonia. She is still in ICU. We're told she will be in the hospital for at least several days and she is, as one source said, "very, very sick."

Charlie Sheen's lawyer, Richard Cummins, and Brooke Mueller's attorney, Yale Galanter, have asked that the hearing on the protective order be moved to February 8.

Stephen Izzo -- the guy who got his ass kicked -- took to the Internet after the episode aired ... and typed the following disgusting tirade:

"lets get something straight what u didnt see is i never fought ronnie i was fighting...those N**GER bouncers when that bitch ran over and snuck me..then got stomped out by those 3 n**gers as he ran away."

Izzo also uses several other slurs in various updates to his profile, including the word "mulian" ... which is a misspelled racist Italian-American term for Black people.

UPDATE: Izzo tells TMZ, "First of all these guys pushed my female friend on the ground. But I was on a show that uses the derogatory slang word for Italians, 'guido.' I am not a racist, I was using a slang word just the same as the way guido is used on the show."

The MTV reality show star accused of brutally beating his one-year-old daughter has just turned himself in to police in Cobb County, GA.

Cops tell TMZ Markice "Kesan" Moore -- who was on season one of "From G's to Gents" -- is now in custody ... but has not been booked yet.

Moore was placed on Cobb County's most wanted list after he was accused of breaking both of his infant daughter's arms, one leg, 3 ribs and a collarbone.

As we first reported, Moore told us he never physically abused his daughter.

UPDATE: We're told it's going to be a while before Moore is booked because there are "20 or 30 people in front of him."

As we first reported, Brooke was pumped full of antibiotics and she's now bouncing back from a 105 degree fever. Brooke's lawyer, Yale Galanter, tells TMZ she should be released from the hospital today and he expects the hearing on the protective order will still be heard in an Aspen court on Friday.

And, as we reported, legal docs should be filed shortly to allow Charlie to communicate with Brooke while she's in the hospital. Under the current protective order, Charlie can be in the same room with Mueller but can't communicate with her.
