If Mark Zuckerberg's new wife was expecting a MASSIVE diamond on her wedding ring ... she was SORELY disappointed.

Just days after the surprise wedding of the century, Priscilla Chan-Zuckerberg took her brand new ruby rock on the road ... flashing her piece during a lunch date with a friend in Palo Alto, CA yesterday.

According to reports, the $20 BILLION Facebook honcho -- who has a reputation for not caring about excessive displays of wealth -- designed the ring himself.

Rapper 2 Chainz wasn't packing brass knuckles when he was arrested today in New York ... it was just a harmless 4-finger ring -- this according to sources close to the hip hop star.

The ring says "DOPE" in big letters -- and sources tell TMZ, 2 Chainz rocked it no problem at an Atlanta club called the Velvet Room on Sunday.

According to sources close to the rapper, Chainz then flew to NYC without incident -- with the ring in his luggage -- but when he tried to leave the city today, TSA at LaGuardia Airport mistook the jewelry for a dangerous weapon.

TMZ broke the story ... 2 Chainz was arrested at the airport for possession of a criminal weapon this afternoon when officials found the 4-finger instrument in his bag.

Tim Tebow is definitely down with Jesus ... but he ain't down with "MY Jesus" t-shirts -- and he's threatening legal action because he says a website is illegally using his name to sell the merchandise.

TMZ obtained the cease and desist letter Tebow's attorneys sent to cubbytees.com last month -- in which they claim "The Merchandise makes it appear as if Mr. Tebow actually endorses Cubby Tees and its products."

Interestingly, the tee shirts in question do not use Tebow's image or name -- but instead spell out "MY Jesus" using the colors and font of his new team ... the NY Jets. In fact, the website clearly states, "This fun design is not officially endorsed by New York's backup quarterback or the Son of God, but plays off the themes of Tebow's faith and his new team."

Still, Tebow's attorneys are demanding the site stop "any use of Mr. Tebow's name and/or likeness" -- and according to Cubby Tees, Tebow already successfully petitioned eBay to remove the tees.

The shirt makers tell TMZ they aren't backing down, and actually sent a response to team Tebow ... saying the design "shares nothing with Mr. Tebow except for promotion of a common Lord and Savior." The shirts are still for sale.

Kim Kardashian doesn't care WHAT the Federal Trade Commission says ... she says Skechers worked for her, and THAT'S why she became the company's pitch person.

Kim made a 1-year deal with the company, which touted Shape-Ups as a shoe that promotes toning and weight loss. The FTC now says the claims are bogus ... that there's no proof the shoes do squat.

But Kim is telling friends and family ... when she signed the original deal, she was a habitual Shape-Ups user and it toned the back of her legs and her considerable ass.

Kim says she signed a 1-year deal that ended in January, but even before the expiration she started to hear about the new research which showed the shoe didn't work, so she stopped promoting it all together.

Even though she wasn't about to promote the shoes for other people to wear, Kim had conflicting feelings about using the product herself.

Kim says she wouldn't endorse the shoe now -- but she's not throwing her Shape-Ups out. She still has them and might still wear them.

11:00 AM PDT -- A rep for Skechers tells TMZ, the company stands by its toning claims despite agreeing to pay out $40 million in settlement costs. Under the settlement agreement, the rep says Skechers is still permitted to market Shape-Ups as a toning shoe.

The Skechers fitness shoes Kim Kardashian tried to convince you to buy don't actually work ... not even a little bit ... so says the federal government.

The Federal Trade Commission has determined Skechers made unfounded claims about its Shape-Ups shoes ... pushed by hot-bodied spokespeople like Kim K and Brooke Burke.

According to the FTC, Skechers lied about clinical studies which the company said proved the shoes help people lose weight and strengthen muscles in the ass, legs and stomach.

In fact, Skechers has agreed to pay $40 million in settlement costs ... and anyone who bought the shoes will be eligible for a refund.

Still, Skechers is reportedly disputing the FTC decision -- and plans to conduct more research on the effects of the shoe.

A rep for the late Baron's estate tells TMZ ... the auction house was difficult to work with. He claims the auction house never gave the item enough publicity and were more concerned with the approval of the royal family than selling the goods.

We're told the estate was tired of waiting around for Hansons to find them a worthy bid ... so they demanded the underwear back and put them up for sale on eBay for a limited 10-day auction instead.

Nicky Hilton claims her high-end fashion line was a colossal failure ... and it's all because her partners were irresponsible liars who pissed away the company's cash so they could live like ballers.

Hilton claims it all started in 2006 ... when she inked a deal with Eliyahu Cohen and the Asher Group to launch Nicky Hilton Worldwide -- which would market high-end fashion products under Nicky's name.

Hilton claims the Asher Group promised to provide $4.9 million in financing for the operation AND pay Nicky a guaranteed annual salary of $250k plus a 10% increase every year.

But in a lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Nicky claims the Asher Group dropped the ball ... failing to secure the $4.9 million ... never paying her salary ... and squandering what money the company did have on stupid personal expenses.

In fact, Nicky claims Asher blew $9k per month on a personal assistant who "spent most of her time running personal errands for Asher and other tasks unrelated to NHW business."

World-renowned hair stylist and fashion icon Vidal Sassoon has died.

According to reports, Sassoon passed away today from an unspecified illness at his home on Mulholland Drive in Hollywood. His family was by his side.

Vidal is credited with creating the famous haircut called the "bob."

Vidal was reportedly diagnosed with leukemia in 2009. It's unclear what role the cancer played in his death.

The hair icon was married four times -- most recently to Rhonda Sassoon in 1992, who stayed with him until his death. He is also survived by three children. Vidal was 84.

Vidal seemed pretty healthy right up until the end -- in fact, we spoke to him just last week ... and he gave us some pretty useful hair tips.
