Barrie-James O'Neill is either a man deeply in love and willing to fight for his woman ... or deeply delusional ... because he says he and Lana Del Rey have NOT broken up.

Del Rey told a German outlet earlier this week the two were no longer together ... saying, "He is a wonderful person, but there are some things with which he has to deal ... I no longer felt free."

So our photog tried to get the truth out of the rocker at LAX on Tuesday night and he scoffed at the reports -- even though it came straight from Lana -- telling us not to believe everything we read.

Andrew Stern -- the husband of "Deal or No Deal" showcase model Katie Cleary who committed suicide Sunday -- went on a downward spiral after undergoing hormone replacement therapy for his libido ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Stern shot himself in the head at a San Fernando Valley firing range. Sources say he was deeply depressed, largely over the meltdown of his marriage.

Close friends of Andrew tell us ... 2 years ago he went to a Beverly Hills health and wellness center because he was feeling lethargic and had a waning libido. We're told the center gave him a kit, which included human growth hormones and testosterone. Both were injectables.

The friends say he started experiencing drastic mood swings and became extremely irritable. Andrew kept the regimen up for a year but couldn't take it anymore and stopped cold turkey.

We're told abruptly stopping such therapy is extremely dangerous and in Andrew's case he spiraled into a deep depression, which got much worse because his business failed and everything then took a toll on his marriage.

The friends tells us ... Andrew -- who filed for divorce in April -- went nuclear after seeing pics of his wife in Cannes, nuzzling up to Leo DiCaprio. Katie's rep says the pics didn't have an impact on Andrew, but his friends scoff and say it had a HUGE affect.

One friend tells us he spoke with Andrew the day before he killed himself -- Andrew said he was having "a tough day" but assured him he'd be OK.

Anyone who was banging Jennifer Lopez would shout it from the rooftops … unfortunately Maksim Chmerkovskiy is not just anyone.

We got Maksim in NYC and asked him about the pic we posted Monday ... showing him and JLo hanging out in Connecticut Saturday night ... definitely looking cozy.

Our photog was pretty direct, and Maksim very cleverly deflected the questions.

The transsexual who claims she had an affair with Kendra Wilkinson's husband Hank Baskett called the cops on reporters who she claims are now stalking and harassing her.

Cops came to Ava London's L.A. condo late last week to physically remove members of the media who she claims were trying to drum her out of her unit by banging at her door. She says the reporters were trying to buy surveillance video from the building manager, to see if Baskett ever showed up.

London's lawyer also claims some outlets are making up stories. He cites In Touch magazine, which claims to have interviewed London. The lawyer said that never happened and is threatening to sue.

Baskett has been mum.

Rick Ross claims stories about him being denied access to a Detroit concert by scores of Ross haters and being in fear of his life are straight up lies ... and that comes from the man himself.

Ross was indeed denied entrance to the Hot 107.5′s Summer Jamz 17 concert in Detroit on Saturday ... he says the gate to the entrance of the facility was locked.

But Ross claims no one from MMG's staff or security was ever confronted by an angry anti-Rozay mob. He also laughs off claims that the mob made Ross and his posse fear for their lives.

Ross tells us he feels bad for the kids of Detroit who waited in line for six hours for him to perform, only to go home disappointed.

Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy say they're just friends, but they could smell each others pheromones judging from this pic ... obtained by TMZ.

JLo and Maksim were at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut Saturday night after her show. They hit up the Shrine nightclub and were certainly close.

They say they're just friends with a common interest ... dancing. Interesting ... she said on a TV show recently that dancers were better in the sack than actors. It's a compliment to Maksim and a diss to you know who.

Casper Smart did NOT cheat on Jennifer Lopez with two transsexuals -- and he's prepared to sue the website that claims he did ... so says Casper Smart.

As TMZ first reported, JLo and Smart split up a few months back ... and it had nothing to do with Smart's alleged sexcapades.

But Smart is pissed that TheDirty.com claimed he had flings with two transsexuals he met on Instagram ... so his lawyer has fired off a letter to the site's founder, Nik Richie, denying he's ever met, kissed or had sexual relations with either of the transsexuals in question.

Smart says he didn't send them dirty pics and flat out denies cheating on Jennifer.

Smart has given the site an ultimatum -- either retract the story or get sued.

Smart's lawyer also sent a threatening letter to one of the transsexuals who has been talking to the media ... imploring her to sign a declaration saying they never met Smart.

TMZ reached out to Richie for a response ... and here's the part we can post: "Casper, go get a real job. I heard Instagram is hiring over in their compliance department ... Stop blaming everyone else for your problems."

The reality TV star accused of having an affair with Jay Z is flat out denying she ever had sex with Beyonce's man ... and now she's gearing up for a legal battle.

Casey Cohen -- who was on the Bravo show "Princesses: Long Island" -- was named as Jay's alleged side piece in several magazines (such as In Touch) ... all owned by Bauer Media Group.

TMZ has learned Cohen has hired a lawyer who fired off a cease and desist letter saying Cohen and Jay Z "have never been in love or intimate" -- and dismissing all the Bauer articles as "a foul and phony mistress-rumor."

Cohen cops to having met Jay Z and Beyonce several times -- in the letter, obtained by TMZ -- but only through her job working as a VIP hostess in New York City.

She is demanding Bauer issue a public apology to her, Jay Z, and Beyonce ... and remove all posts about her from the Internet.

Kris Jenner's Instagram page was hacked this morning ... with fake messages blasting Kanye West and French Montana.

The posts surfaced around 7:30 AM PT ... the first one reading in part, "I don't like Kanye west! I just pretend I do so my daughters can make a profit."

The fake post also ripped on French Montana, who's dating Khloe, saying, "He's not even black. If I liked blacks so much I'd date one!"

Rihanna and Chris Martin dined at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Sunday night, leaving us to wonder ... was this or was this not a date?

DATE: They are both single, dinner spot was RiRi's favorite place, they left separate via separate exits to avoid being spotted.

Sources connected with the former couple tell us ... they actually split nearly 2 months ago, but kept it on the down low. We're told the breakup was civil. They're still friendly but simply grew apart.

We're told the breakup had nothing to do with recent stories of Casper's sexual escapades. One source put it this way: "Casper has been a single guy and can text or see whoever he wants, but the idea that he was knowingly texting a transsexual is laughable." The source added, "He's not that guy, but like a lot of single guys online he obviously likes to look at a 'lil T and A."

Casper is in the process of moving out right now. We're told there was no rush because JLo's been on the road promoting her 10th album, AKA.

We're told Casper will be pursuing acting, which is why he took show directing and choreography off his Instagram.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's egos DO know a limit, after all -- TMZ has learned they are disavowing any knowledge of a partially nude painting of Kim ... allegedly commissioned for their wedding.

A report from across the pond this week said Kanye had contacted a street artist named Bambi to do a thong-baring painting of Kim entitled "Perfect Bitch" -- which, by the way, looks nothing like her in the face. Bambi nailed the ass though.

But sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... neither of them know ANYTHING about this -- no painting was ever ordered, nor does Kim want one. This should sound familiar ... another artist, Monica Warhol, claimed the same thing last year.

We spoke to Bambi's manager, who's standing by Bambi's story and claims Kim's people should be receiving the artwork any day now.

T.I.'s temper was already revved up just hours before he got into a violent brawl with Floyd Mayweather on the Vegas Strip -- when security at a crowded pool party DENIED his ass ... and it's all caught on video.

Witnesses tell TMZ T.I. had shown up to Liquid -- the pool party at Aria where Nicki Minaj was performing last weekend -- but he tried to side step security with his posse.

Security wasn't having it ... insisting T.I. had to be searched just like the normies entering the party.

The real problem -- we're told the door staff didn't recognize Tip ... and once they did realize it was him they let him right into the event.

But the standoff was intense -- Vegas PD even got involved -- and after watching the video, you'll understand why T.I. had a short fuse when he faced off against Floyd later that night. Pretty nuts.
