Joey Porter -- a former NFL defensive superstar -- was arrested last week after Las Vegas officials say he wrote a rubber check ... as in, it bounced.

The 35-year-old former Super Bowl champ is currently behind bars in Kern County, CA ... where he was arrested in a warrant out of Clark County, Nevada for writing a check without having sufficient funds.

According to the Bakersfield PD, Porter was initially pulled over for a routine traffic violation Friday night when the officer noticed the warrant and arrested him.

The details surrounding the alleged bad check situation are unclear.

Still, the allegation is shocking -- considering Porter made MILLIONS during his steller 13-year NFL career with the Steelers, Dolphins and Cardinals. In fact, he signed a $32 million deal in 2007 ... and a $24.5 million deal in 2010.

As TMZ previously reported, Porter was in Vegas last year ... where he was seen gambling with $30,000 in chips at a high stakes craps table.

Moments after Miss USA Olivia Culpa emerged victorious in the Miss Universe pageant, she celebrated like a true beauty queen ... by STUFFING HERSELF WITH ACTUAL FOOD!!!

Culpa had been on a strict diet for months leading up to the competition (probably why she KILLED IT in the swimsuit portion) ... and afterward, she decided to treat herself to a mini room service feast.

The 20-year-old tells us ... when she went back to her room at the Planet Hollywood hotel in Las Vegas ... she "splurged" on the following meal:

-- One giant portion of penne pasta with chicken and red sauce
-- Some bread
-- Half a cupcake

Culpa says she was HOPING to add some cookie dough ice cream to her food party, but it just didn't happen. Bummer.

But there's more ... Olivia says she plans on eating a Reese's peanut butter cup "tree" thing in the near future ... because they have more peanut butter than the regular cups.

Mitt Romney and wife Ann had a ringside seat to witness Juan Manuel Marquez knockout the great Manny Pacquiao last night in Las Vegas.

In a bit of foreshadowing someone in Manny's camp should have prevented, Romney actually met Pacquaio before the fight, reportedly saying to him, "Hello Manny. I ran for president. I lost."

That fight was more of a split decision than a knockout.

Ice-T is FURIOUS after pics of CoCo and rapper AP.9 surfaced on the internet Friday ... with the two looking pretty friendly in Vegas. Specifically they're seen dancing, hugging, cheek-kissing and holding each other ... like really, really, close.

Ice made his feelings crystal clear on Twitter, saying ... "Don't get it twisted, I'm not happy about this s**t."

He continued, "Most of [the pics] are disrespectful and in bad taste. She's made me look and feel like s**t. I say this on Twitter because there's no way to avoid the obvious misconduct of a married couple."

CoCo also tweeted about the incident when the pics first popped up saying ... "Please guys I'm happily married. Sometimes fans and friends take silly pics. It's harmless."

"Girls Gone Wild" honcho Joe Francis just saved a TON of money ... without even switching to Geico ... 'cause a judge slashed the amount of damages he has to pay Steve Wynn by $21 MILLION, TMZ has learned.

Francis had previously been ordered to fork over $40 million in damages to Wynn for defaming the casino mogul ... after Francis told the media Wynn had threatened to have him killed and buried in the Vegas desert.

Now, a judge has reduced the judgment by $21 million -- ruling that Wynn wasn't really entitled to punitive damages after all.

According to the judge, punitive damages need to be based off the defendants net worth -- and Wynn failed to prove exactly how much money Francis has.

Wynn claims he couldn't come through with a number because Francis is hiding his assets ... but it didn't matter to the judge.

Francis released a statement to TMZ ... calling the ruling a "massive victory" ... and saying he plans to "aggressively appeal the remaining causes of action." Francis says, "Steve may have a winning record stealing the life savings away from working Americans in his safe haven of Las Vegas, but he will not be able to manipulate the California court system” [Read Joe's entire statement after the jump].

Wynn's rep issued a statement to TMZ saying Steve is still "delighted" with the verdict ... adding, "The court upholding the $19 million in damages confirms that Joe Francis made horrible, false accusations against Steve Wynn."

"Big Time Rush" lead singer Kendall Schmidt is so popular with the ladies ... he plunked down some major dough and moved all the way to Sin City to escape some love-crazed female fans ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Kendall tell TMZ ... several members of Kendall's team became concerned after some overzealous fans began camping outside of the 22-year-old's L.A. pad ... and they urged him to get another place where he could hide out.

We're told Kendall took the note and quickly found a place in Las Vegas -- inside a well-protected gated community.

Here are the stats -- 1,900 square feet, 3 beds, 3 baths ... and it cost somewhere between $300k and $400k.

We're told Kendall still owns his place in L.A. -- and will use the home when he comes to town -- but the Vegas pad will be his primary residence.

Real pimps don't slap their hoes when they fall outta line, they SUE them ... at least according to the owner of the world famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel in Nevada who just filed a lawsuit against one of his hookers.

The man behind the suit is Dennis Hof -- the self-described Pimpmaster General of America -- who's suing a girl who goes by the name "Jimi Lynn" (pictured above).

According to the suit, filed in Nevada, Jimi signed an exclusive whore deal with the Ranch back in 2010 ... in which she agreed to pay Dennis 50% of the cash she made from hooking, plus $25 per day.

Hof also claims Jimi agreed to pay 50% of any gifts she received from any of her johns.

But in his suit, Hof says Jimi was screwing around behind his back -- because he got a call from an upset customer named "Richard" who says he'd been showering Jimi with lavish gifts and cash for years ... and finally felt like she was "pumping him for more money."

"Richard" allegedly says he took Jimi all over the world -- including Tahiti, Jamaica and Bora Bora. He also says he bought Jimi Chanel purses, diamond bracelets and pearl earrings. Total value of the gifts -- MORE THAN $300,000.

Hof claims Jimi never reported any of the gifts to the Bunny Ranch -- and now wants a judge to force her to hand over what's contractually his ... HALF.

We spoke with Hof who tells us, "There's gotta be honor somewhere in business ... good hookers are working girls, not thieves."

He adds, "Could you imagine a hooker stealing from you? It's unimaginable."

Joe Jackson's gun is 100% legit -- TMZ has learned, Michael Jackson's dad is fully-licensed to carry a concealed weapon in the State of Nevada ... this according to a rep for the Las Vegas Metro Police.

The rep tells TMZ, Joe was issued a CCW permit in 2010 by the LVMPD -- allowing him to carry a concealed handgun on his person anywhere in Nevada. The permit expires in 2015.

As we reported, Joe showed off the concealed weapon at a recent event in Vegas, and claimed he doesn't leave home without it.

FYI -- Nevada's what they call an "open carry" state -- meaning anyone (over 21) can literally walk down the street with a handgun strapped to his or her body, as long as it's exposed.

With Joe's permit, he's allowed to keep it inside his jacket.

Joe Jackson FLASHED A HANDGUN to a room full of people at a recent event in Vegas ... and told the crowd it's just like an American Express card ... he doesn't leave home without it.

The bizarre moment all went down while Joe was at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino in Vegas this weekend to be honored at the Black Music Awards (apparently that's a thing).

Joe was introduced by his friend -- Majestik -- who told the crowd a story about Joe confronting Michael Jackson's bodyguards two weeks before MJ's death.

During the alleged confrontation, Majestik says Joe flashed his gun at the guards and said -- "If I hear you all givin' my son drugs or doing anything illegal with my son ... I'ma kill all of you."

When Majestik turned the mic over to Joe -- JJ corroborated the story ... saying, "It's very true. Every word he said."

Then Joe told the crowd ... "I carry a piece everywhere I go ... I'm gonna show it to you."

Joe proceeded to open up his suit jacket, revealing a handgun holstered by his hip. Joe explained, "I've been threatened a lot of times and so I need to be safe."
