Jwoww Wants a Trademark Too

Published | Updated

Jwoww is following in the fist-pumping footsteps of Snooki, The Situation and Pauly D -- and just applied to trademark her name.

TMZ has learned Jenni Farley filed documents last month with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark her name for "entertainment services in the nature of an on-going reality based television program."

Jenni's lawyer tells TMZ this is just the first step towards "creating an enterprise" for the chestically enhanced reality star.

FYI -- According to the docs, the "Jersey Shore" star's name is officially "Jwoww" -- not J-WOWW, JWOWW or JWoW.

Snooki -- Protect the Poof

When the glass roof shattered at a Purim party in New York City, and glass rained down from the sky, all Snooki was worried about was her poof.

Snooki, her guido BF, and her guido BFF, Vinny, were all in good spirits after leaving the party.

And to the people of Chile, don't worry -- Snooki has your back. She promised her next appearance would be "going to Chile." As if they didn't have enough to overcome.

'Jersey' KO Victim Fails to Block DVD Release

Published | Updated

The guy Ronnie cold-cocked on an episode of "Jersey Shore" just lost another fight -- a judge shot down his efforts to stop tomorrow's release of "Jersey" on DVD.

This is all a part of a civil lawsuit Stephen Izzo filed in Ocean County Superior Court in New Jersey against Ronnie, MTV, Viacom and crew over the throwdown that left Izzo face down on a brick walkway ... and Ronnie with an assault charge.

In the suit, Izzo's lawyer Eugene LaVergne claims everyone involved in "Jersey's" production is profiting off Ronnie's alleged criminal act, which LaVergne says is against the law. Izzo is suing for invasion of privacy and for the unauthorized use of his likeness and image.

As for today's ruling, LaVergne said the judge decided the DVD could be released because Izzo's face is blurred out during the altercation and they were unable to prove the clip caused Izzo harm.

The fight continues on March 5, when they're due back in court.

This is the heartwarming tale of a guido who lost his wallet ... and the celebrity news website that helped him get it back.

Turns out Ronnie from MTV's "Jersey Shore" left his wallet on a US Airways flight on Friday morning. A passenger found it and turned it into a flight attendant. Another passenger saw this and decided to help out ... by contacting TMZ.

One of our producers called Ronnie's people to let him know his wallet was missing (he hadn't realized yet) and he could find it at US Airways help desk at LaGuardia Airport.

The wallet was eventually returned to Ronnie and all is well in the world.

'Jersey's' Ronnie 'Sorry' for Homophobic Rant

Published | Updated

Ronnie from "Jersey Shore" has finally issued a half-ass apology for the homophobic rant he spewed during one of his fights on the show ... blaming the whole ordeal on "the heat of the moment."

The disgusting rant in question was made public earlier this week when never-before-seen footage of his first "Jersey" brawl leaked onto the Internet.

In the video, Ronnie can be heard calling the guy a "f**king f**got" and a "f**king queer" right before he beats the hell out of him.

So yesterday, Ronnie posted the following message on his Twitter:

"I apologize to my fans, In the heat of the moment i said a lot of things i didnt mean and im very sorry."

So we gotta ask ...

Pauly D's Trademark -- The Ultimate Spin Job

Published | Updated

Pauly D is now the third "Jersey Shore" star to try and lock down his nickname -- but this time, he wants to use the trademark strictly for the DJ booth.

TMZ has learned Pauly has applied for a trademark on the name "DJ Pauly D" -- strictly for use "in the nature of disc jockey services."

On the application, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Pauly points out that he has no intention of trying to exclusively own the rights to the word "DJ" -- apart from "Pauly D."

As we've previously reported, The Situation and Snooki have also applied for trademarks on their nicknames.

Jersey Shore's Ronnie -- The Homophobic Tirade

Published | Updated

WARNING: Video contains explicit language.

Ronnie Magro from "Jersey Shore" didn't just fight in front of the cameras -- he also spewed some disgusting homophobic slurs during a violent altercation on the boardwalk ... and the footage has finally come to light.

It all went down minutes before Ronnie's first brawl on the show -- in which he and another bar patron could be seen talking trash to each other and then exchanging blows on the shore in front of their girlfriends.

But in the new never-before-seen footage -- Ronnie can also be seen and heard calling the guy a "f**king f**got" and a "f**king queer."

The footage was never aired on MTV.

A source from the production company behind the show who hasn't seen the clip tells us, "There were several gay staff members that worked on the show and Ronnie always respected them and everyone else."

'Jersey Shore's' Pauly D -- Beantown Bound

Published | Updated

Season two of "Jersey Shore" might be looking for a new locale, but we know Pauly D will be spending part of his summer in good ol' Boston.

Pauly D's got a new gig spinning at a club in Beantown called Royale. The club opens next month in the space that used to be the Roxy and is said to be the biggest club in all of Boston.

We're told Pauly, who is from nearby Rhode Island, will start up in May with the hope that things go well and the gig will turn into a more permanent (and lucrative one). Famous DJs like Paul Oakenfeld and David Guetta are expected to land gigs there as well.

Dave Ralph, a management consultant for the club, tells TMZ they are looking to bring a Miami feel to Boston -- and apparently a guido feel as well.
