Snoop Dogg's about to become way more than just a music legend ... if he's serious about saving L.A.'s iconic restaurant, Roscoe's Chicken N Waffles.

We got Snoop and Warren G outside Lure Nightclub Tuesday night and brought up the biggest news in Hollywood -- that the parent company of Roscoe's just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Snoop hadn't heard, and was floored -- you gotta see his reaction -- but he immediately started thinking about how to save the hot spot ... where he's a regular, mind you.

Blake Shelton could be hoisted by his own liquor-drenched petard -- the magazine he's suing says Blake talks himself up as a heavy drinker, so he's got no place to bitch about its stories.

As we've reported, Blake is suing the publisher of In Touch for its cover story claiming he was rehab bound after hitting "Rock Bottom." Blake's filed docs denying most of the report, but in new legal docs ... In Touch says Blake must have forgotten the image he himself promoted.

The mag says Blake is famous for his "signature drunk tweets" such as, "Woah!! Almost 11:00 ... Can't believe I'm up so early ... This calls for a drink." In Touch says his tweets and comments cultivate his image as a "hard drinking country boy."

One part of the In Touch story says he partied hard last year in a Mexico hotel. Blake has denied staying at that hotel, but in the new docs ... In Touch says it has photo evidence.

Sources connected to Blake tell us the photo in question -- which was posted on Instagram -- shows him obliging a fan with a pic as he walked by the hotel.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West added some shiny new wheels to their fleet, but their luxury ride is missing one important option.

Kimye splurged on a white Maybach, which they drove Monday to an appearance on Khloe Kardashian's TV show. Here's the thing ... Maybachs are typically chauffeur driven ... but there was Kanye behind the wheel as they pulled away yesterday.

Base price for this uber fancy Benz is typically $200k. Kanye's has all the bells and whistles, so we're guessing theirs was double that after getting the works from the popular customizers at Platinum Motorsport.

So, we were talking to "House of Cards" actor Jimmi Simpson about a report that John Travolta will only stay in hotel rooms that have been vacant for 24 hours ... when something gross came up.

Not about John. Not about Jimmi. It was a revelation about the wife of a TMZ staffer who got a SUPER GNARLY virus on her foot while staying at a hotel in Paris.

Snoop Dogg and President Obama's favorite wing and waffle stop, Roscoe's House of Chicken N Waffles, might be shutting its doors because its parent company just filed for Chapter 11.

East Coast Foods Inc., whose president Herb Hudson founded Roscoe's, filed the bankruptcy docs last Friday claiming the company has less than $50k in assets, but somewhere between $10-$50 million in debt.

The L.A. institution counts Kobe Bryant, Kendrick Lamar, David Beckham, Cindy Crawford, Denzel Washington and many more as fans.

They're all in luck ... a rep for the company had no comment on the bankruptcy, but did stress that people should keep going to their restaurants.

A radio DJ is suing William Shatner for $170 million, claiming the actor is his father and has been denying it for years.

Peter Sloan, 59, says Shatner admitted he was his dad back in 1984 on the set of "T.J. Hooker." Sloan tells TMZ he believes his biological mother and Shatner had a fling while they were both acting on Broadway.

In his suit, Sloan says Shatner did a complete 180 later ... hanging up on him when he called the actor. He claims a rep contacted him to say Shatner denied paternity and refused to take a DNA test.

Sloan says the rep also advised him to keep the matter quiet since it could be "horrendous" for Shatner's career. Instead, he changed his name to Peter Shatner and began using it for his radio show, website and several other social media handles.

Sloan says he requested another paternity test in 2011 but got denied because, as Shatner's lawyers put it ... he's "an incredibly busy, 80-year-old man, and is not interested in spending time discussing this issue with you."

A Gipsy Kings fan says he broke his jaw at one of their concerts, but believes it could all have been prevented if security at the show had done its job.

Anthony Fornabaio and his wife are suing the historic Beacon Theatre in NYC claiming he face-planted at the December 3rd Gipsy Kings concert there.

Fornabaio's attorney tells us Anthony fainted during the show, and his wife called to event staffers for help. The attorney claims staffers offered no assistance, and watched as Fornabaio fell again ... this time on his face, breaking his jaw.

Fornabaio says his injuries could've been prevented if staffers took notice of his bamboleo ... Spanish for "swaying." A rep for the Beacon Theatre says they're looking into the incident.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Apollo Nida can't get the feds off his back -- due to a more than $1 million tab -- and now they're targeting another one of his prized possessions.

Court docs show the government wants him to put his 1964 Buick Skylark on the auction block to help pay down the nearly $1.94 million in restitution he owes.

Nida -- who is in the can serving 8 years for money laundering and bank fraud -- already got his 2014 Ducati and Yamaha Raptor ATV seized.

A '64 Skylark in mint condition fetches $25k ... which is barely a dent in that debt.

Lil Wayne's suing Universal Music Group because he says the company is settling debts with Birdman and Cash Money Records ... with money owed to him.

Weezy filed the federal lawsuit against UMG over its financial arrangement with Cash Money. According to the suit, UMG advanced Birdman's label $100 million, and has slowly been paying itself back.

Wayne's issue is half that money going back to Universal is his, under the terms of his deal with Cash Money. Wayne says the bulk of the revenue was earned by his Young Money artists -- Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga -- so he deserves a healthy cut.

Rick Ross' protege, Fat Trel, got busted for passing off counterfeit bills in a casino, but he says the funny money is just what an ATM spit out to him.

According to the police report ... Trel, who's signed to Rick's Maybach Music Group, was at a Maryland casino early Easter Sunday morning when he handed over nine fake $50 bills to a pit boss. Cops say the easy tell was matching serial numbers on 8 of the 9 bills.

Fat Trel insists he's innocent ... telling police he got the money from a 7-Eleven ATM in D.C.

The rapper was arrested and charged with possession of counterfeit currency ... which means he's gonna have the Secret Service crawling up his butt soon too.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson just got tagged for an accident their son, Chet Haze, had while driving mom and dad's car.

According to a new lawsuit filed against the celebs ... Chet rear-ended a guy named Terry Moogan in February 2015, while driving Tom and Rita's Chevy. Moogan accuses Chet of driving recklessly and being "under the influence of drugs and or alcohol at the time."

Moogan says Chet's parents should be responsible since they negligently handed him the keys.

As for the drugs and alcohol allegation ... Chet didn't get a DUI for this accident, in fact cops weren't even on scene. Moogan's attorneys claim Chet begged him not to call the police at the time.

In the suit, Moogan says he suffered injuries ... though he's not specific. His attorneys claim Moogan got whiplash and a brain injury from hitting his head on the dashboard.

Blac Chyna will make a cameo on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" ... if the price is right.

Sources close to Chyna tell us she's looking to meet with 'KUWTK' showrunners and negotiate a minor role on the show.

Chyna thinks she knows the value of footage showing the relationship between her and Rob's sisters, but she may be overestimating its worth ... she wants $1 MILLION.

Rob's GF wants even more ... a non-exclusive contract, because she wants her own reality show ... possibly with Rob.

Katt Williams' downward spiral has scared his loved ones so much they want him hospitalized ... but the comedian thinks it's just a ploy to get his cash.

Katt tells us his "so-called family" has turned up the heat on him to get professional help, after a video surfaced that showed him getting into it with a 17-year-old. Katt grouses his family's been trying to get him hospitalized for years ... but only because they're a bunch of "broke bitches."

Katt's suspicions have grown to the point he fired his entire team ... a team he says has been fleecing him.

The family begs to differ, claiming Katt needs help. A source close to Katt tells us the comedian is so off the rails, he was found naked and covered in chocolate when cops raided his house earlier this month.

An extraordinary guy deserves an extraordinary funeral ... so says the family of Ravens cornerback Tray Walker who ordered up a custom Ravens-themed casket for his final tribute.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Walker's family agreed to celebrate his life after he passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash last week -- and wanted to make a statement with his casket.

So, the family contacted casket maker Trey Ganem and ordered something that would match Tray's flashy personality ... with Ravens logos, an NFL helmet and Louis Vuitton interior.

Ganem (who got permission from Tray's family to speak with us) says the price tag was about $16k -- but the family was happy to pay because Tray would have loved it.

Walker was laid to rest Saturday in Miami.

Babe Ruth's 104-year-old, one of a kind, game used, high school baseball mitt is about to hit the auction block ... and is expected to fetch close to $1 MILLION ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The catcher's mitt dates back to 1912 ... when Ruth attended St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys in Baltimore and played on the baseball team. He later gave the glove to a kid -- and the family held onto it for decades.

The mitt's been on display at the Babe Ruth Museum since 1993 -- but now the family has decided the time is right to sell ... and hooked up with Goldin Auctions to make it happen.

The live auction -- which will stream online -- goes down April 30th at an upscale restaurant in NYC.

Starting bid is $125k -- though we're told Ruth collectors are fired up about this item and bidding is expected to scrape the $1 million mark.
