Usain Bolt Track 'Wasn't Fun Anymore' ... Before 2016 Olympics

Published | Updated

Usain Bolt struggled to get out of bed to train for the 2016 Olympics -- saying the pressure and stress he was under took the fun out of running.

The Jamaican track legend opened up about his struggles at the premiere of "I Am Bolt" -- the new documentary about his life.

"The workload I had leading up to the Olympics and even at the 2015 World Championships meant there was so much pressure and stress that it just wasn’t fun anymore," Bolt said.

Of course, Bolt powered through it and won 3 gold medals in Rio -- and now he's back to his old self.

“Now that the pressure is gone I’m much more relaxed and happy to go to training because I know it’s not going to be so intense anymore."

Bolt is gearing up for the 2017 World Championships in London ... and says he'll finally hang up his spikes after that.

But it might not be the end of Bolt's athletic career -- he says he plans to train with the German soccer team, Borussia Dortmund, at the end of the 2017-18 season.

"It’s something I always wanted to try to see if I was any good at ... I will do a little training to see whether I am worthy."

Turbo from 'Breakin' Hey, Jimmy Kimmel ... My Pop & Lock STILL Cleans Up

Published | Updated

Jimmy Kimmel called out the guy who played Turbo in the 'Breakin'' '80s flicks ... and now he's responding to prove he still has the break dance moves that made him famous.

Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers saw the skit Kimmel did with Garth Brooks this week ... joking he'd paid Boogaloo $1,000 to teach a white friend how to pop and lock. We got Boogaloo out in L.A. and he was totally game to play along with the storyline.

Now, of course, Kimmel never really forked over that dough -- but he might want to reconsider once he sees this Turbo homage ... complete with the broom, baby!

It's about to get all 1984 up in here.

JAMIE FOXX GOT HANDS!!

We've already seen him throw ... but now the "Ray" star is proving he can haul in passes too -- even when the ball is being fired at him at 100 MPH!

Foxx was training at the Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks while shooting his new flick "All-Star Weekend" -- when his buddy, Tony Besson, challenged him to get into the "100 MPH Club."

The ball was shot at him by a JUGS machine -- and the challenge was to catch the ball twice ... while taking a step closer the second time around.

Think Jamie was afraid? Hell no.

IN THE WORKS

Big news from Caron Butler on his Mark Wahlberg-produced biopic -- a director has been chosen to lead the project and the script-writing process is underway.

We got Caron leaving a meeting with script writers ... and he told us the flick (which is in the early writing stages) is gonna show the REAL story behind his childhood struggles as a drug dealer.

C.B. says Wahlberg (as well as director Jason Lew and writer Steve Springer) is helping him be a part of the whole process to make sure it gets his stamp of approval.

Butler's partner, Tabrez Yousuf, summarized the movie's vision in one sentence:

"Marlo Stanfield from 'The Wire' goes to the NBA."

Disney's 'Moana' Italy Changes Name ... That Sounds Like Porn to Us!!

Published | Updated

Disney's new animated film "Moana" isn't fit for kids in Italy ... or at least the title isn't because it's synonymous with hardcore porn.

The flick will be released in Italy under the name "Oceania" ... allegedly to avoid confusion with Moana Pozzi -- Italy's most popular adult film actress of all-time. It's not uncommon for Hollywood studios to change movie titles in foreign countries -- for all sorts of cultural reasons -- but imagine how this one could've messed with Italian kids trying to Google show times.

For the record, Moana -- the naked one -- died in 1994, but is still revered in Italy for doing more than 100 pornos in the '80s and '90s, as well as mainstream TV appearances.

Disney isn't confirming the movie title change was due to the porn fact, but ... c'mon.

Philadelphia 76ers Hilariously Butcher 'Rocky' Quotes ... 'Yooo Adrian!!!

Published | Updated

Mick ... and Adrian ... and Paulie ... and Apollo might ALL be rolling in their graves after this -- 'cause here are a bunch of the Philadelphia 76ers doing "Rocky" quotes -- and it's so bad, it's good.

Jahlil Okafor, Joel Embiid, Nik Stauskas and more all take a swing and delivering some of the most famous quotes from the franchise ... despite the fact they have terrible Philly accents.

Our favorite part ... Dario Saric singing "Eye of the Tiger."

The team is honoring the 40th anniversary of the original "Rocky" -- and will include the theme at Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Kat Von D Inks $6.5 Mil Deal For Famous Movie House

Published | Updated

Kat Von D is the new owner of the home made famous by Steve Martin in "Cheaper by the Dozen," but the place was anything but cheap.

The home's located in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighborhood which has been home to Melanie Griffith, Shonda Rhimes and Lana Del Rey ... and which also helps to explain the $6.5 million price tag.

HUGE is an understatement for the 12,500 sq ft, 3-story Victorian. With 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms ... it's a TON more room than single Kat needs, but maybe she's planning to adopt 12 kids.

'8 Mile' Director Generous Will Covers His Kid And Many, Many More

Published | Updated

"8 Mile" director Curtis Hanson had a solid will in place before his September death that not only took care of his longtime companion and son, but also his extended fam and his movie biz.

Curtis and partner Rebecca Yeldham never tied the knot but have a 12-year-old son together, and the Oscar winner left most of his estate to them, including a home in Laguna Beach. He set up a trust for Rebecca, the kid and several other family members.

It's not clear how much is in it, but the docs say he had nearly $5 million outside the trust.

Rebecca's asking to be named executor of the will, except for anything related to his production companies. Curtis specified his producing partner Carol Fenelon should handle those decisions.

Hanson -- who also directed "L.A. Confidential" and "The River Wild" -- died September 20, 2016 of an apparent heart attack.

Marilyn Monroe My Wig's Fit for a Misfit With Cash!!

Published | Updated

Marilyn Monroe's blonde wig from her last film, "The Misfits," is about to hit the auction block.

It's the first time in almost 2 decades the mop's been up for grabs. Bidding starts at $10k ... a lot less than the $29.9k it sold for last time around. Heritage Auctions, which is running the show, is counting on $20k minimum.

A lock of Lennon's hair sold for $35k earlier this year ... almost certainly more than MM's fake hair will fetch.

Marilyn's wig has some extras, like 5 ringlets for volume. You also get the original storage box labeled: "United Artists Corporation / The Misfits / Mapes Hotel / Reno, Nevada" and "Hold At Airport For Pick Up" ... so, cool piece of movie history.

Bidding starts Nov. 12.

IT'S NOT CANCER BUT ....

Val Kilmer is struggling to speak with a severely swollen tongue -- and while he still denies he has cancer -- whatever his ailment is ... it's forcing him to put his work on hold.

Kilmer shocked an audience in L.A. Thursday night that showed up for a screening of "Citizen Twain." The actor was drooling as he explained his tongue had recently swollen up and he was still recovering.

He did not say what caused the swelling, but a couple weeks ago his former co-star Michael Douglas claimed Val was battling oral cancer. He denied the cancer, but did say he had a lump on his throat.

Kilmer was in good spirits though, and even joked with the crowd about having to dab saliva from his mouth. He says the mystery condition is forcing him to pull the plug on his one-man play version of 'Twain.'
