The highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 classic finally hit Netflix on Friday ... with one scene in particular getting a lot of buzz from folks who rushed to stream it.

At one point in the flick, the superstar musician's Oscar character goes to his "happy place," ... which leads to a dream sequence of him tying a popped-top Kelce to a pole and applying some sticky stuff to his torso, leaving him to be mauled by a bear.

Adam Sandler is officially back on the green after "Happy Gilmore 2" dropped on Friday ... and, while many actors from the first flick are back, the new faces in the cast -- like Eminem -- are doing their best to capture the vibe of the 1996 classic.

We now know the extent of Em's cameo -- Sandler confirmed he'd appear in the film way back in December -- and, the rap legend plays the son of a memorable character from the first movie.

No lifeguard was on duty when Malcolm-Jamal Warner got swept away by a strong current and tragically drowned at Costa Rica’s Playa Grande beach, according to new details.

In a Facebook post, Costa Rica’s volunteer lifeguard group, the Caribbean Guard, said lifeguards had patrolled the area in recent years -- but at the time of Malcolm-Jamal’s death, none were present due to lack of resources.

The FB post also described Playa Grande as a notoriously challenging beach, with signs in English and Spanish warning of drowning risks.
