The rapper documented the emotional roller coaster on social media, first telling fans not to judge her for where she was watching the game, as she filmed herself from what she said to be her basement -- admitting she was glued to the action from home as the Knicks battled for the win.

Catch the clip ... the second the final buzzer sounded and the Knicks secured the victory, Cardi exploded in celebration -- screaming, yelling and running laps around her house while repeatedly shouting, "Oh my God!" and "We won!"

Still buzzing from the win, Cardi declared, "We outside right now!" before explaining she needed to get glam ASAP because, as she put it, "the streets are calling me" ... in other words, there was no chance she was staying home after that.

Oh, Trav! ... Taylor Swift and her soon-to-be hubby weren't ready to call it a night after catching Maya Rudolph's performance in "Oh, Mary!" in New York City.

The man who was arrested after Sabrina Carpenter claimed he showed up at her home multiple times is now objecting to her request for court-ordered protection against him ... TMZ has learned.

Sabrina obtained a temporary restraining order against William Applegate earlier this month ... but Applegate is now asking the court to deny the singer's request for a permanent order prohibiting him from coming near her ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

Applegate said he did not believe Sabrina wanted the restraining order … and that it was concocted by her team and "brought against Carpenter's will by her employed security group and the Los Angeles Police Department in conjunction with her legal team as an artifact of a military government program's maligned instructions."

He claimed Sabrina's Coachella performances on April 10 and April 17 were "made for and directed at me."

Applegate also alleged that the singer and her family "knew about my presence outside her residence as soon as it began in April."
