Kobe Bryant is right ... Atlanta Hawks player Dahntay Jones is a dirty cheater who knew what he was doing when he hurt the Black Mamba on the court last week ... at least according to Lakers superfan Ice Cube.

Cube -- decked out in Lakers gear -- was at LAX this weekend when we asked the rap legend about Kobe's claim that Jones cheap-shotted him during a fadeaway jumper last week ... causing Bryant to injure his ankle.

"It's kinda whack when you gotta cheat to win," Cube said ... saying, "But [Kobe's] a champ, he'll come back. That ankle will be strong."

Good news for Lil Wayne -- the rapper has finally been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after doctors determined his condition has stabilized ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the rapper tell us ... Wayne has been moved into a "regular room" at the hospital and no longer needs intense, round-the-clock treatment after a suspected codeine overdose last week.

We broke the story ... doctors pumped Wayne's stomach at least 3 times after the rapper began experiencing severe and violent seizures. He had been in the ICU since Wednesday.

Now, we're told the 30-year-old has been walking around the hospital floor on his own -- accompanied by a team of bodyguards.

Lil Wayne is still in rough shape ... and remains in the intensive care unit at an L.A. hospital 6 days after being admitted for seizures stemming from a suspected drug overdose ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us ... Wayne's condition has not improved enough to be moved out of the ICU ... and he continues to be monitored very closely by staff at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai hospital.

We know Wayne has been surrounded by friends and family since he was admitted to the ICU this past Wednesday ... and we're told the mood around Wayne's bedside has been very serious.

Among Wayne's visitors -- Drake, Chris Paul, Nicki Minaj, Birdman and others.

TMZ broke the story ... Wayne's stomach was pumped at least 3 times after doctors suspected he had overdosed on the prescription drug codeine ... the main ingredient in "sizzurp."

Wayne has struggled with codeine for years -- and just a few months ago suggested he had quit using the powerful painkiller.

A Tone Loc concert was cut short last night after the rapper suffered from an apparent seizure on stage ... and it's FAR from the first time it's happened.

According to various reports, Loc had finished a song during his show in Des Moines, IA when he collapsed. The Des Moines Register says Loc was attended to for five minutes on stage before the audience was asked to leave.

It is unclear what his condition is now.

This isn't the first time Loc has taken a nose-dive mid-concert. In 2009 he was rushed to a Florida hospital after collapsing on stage and in 2011 he was hospitalized in Atlanta for exhaustion after another mid-rap fall.

Then in June 2012 he collapsed on stage from his manager said was heat exhaustion. And in August 2012 he suffered from an apparent seizure while watching a comedy show. His manager attributed that episode to food poisoning.

6:30 PM PT -- Sources at the hospital tell us Wayne is still in critical condition in the ICU ... but stabilizing.

We're told the prognosis is uncertain.

Wayne is sleeping right now ... which is odd, because he just tweeted saying he's OK and thanking people for the prayers and love.

5:16 PM PT -- Wayne's mother is currently on a plane flying to Los Angeles -- and we're told all major decisions about Wayne's health (including the decision to discontinue life support) will not be made until she arrives.

We broke the story ... the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.

Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.

We're told Wayne is currently "unstable," and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes.

We're told several people are at Wayne's bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably.

Sources say there's evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.

We're told Wanye's stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system.

Lil Wayne was hospitalized this week in L.A. following what appeared to be multiple seizures ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the rapper tell us, Wayne suffered the seizures Tuesday night after shooting a music video in L.A. and was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Weezy was released several hours later, early Wednesday morning. We're told he's doing much better now.

It's not the rapper's first encounter with seizures either -- TMZ broke the story ... Wayne suffered two seizures on board separate airplanes last October.

Lil Wayne later acknowledged he'd been prescribed seizure medication by his doc.

Weezy's rep declined to comment.

Chuy Bravo from "Chelsea Lately" dropped a little philosophy on us about the fractured foot that's keeping him off the celebrity diving show, "Splash" -- or at least, he tried to. Hey, philosophy is hard.

We broke the story ... Chuy busted his left foot while jumping on a table.

Chuy's leg was in a cast when we asked about the accident he said ... "Things happen for a reason. What the other reason is ... I don't know yet."

Chuy seems genuinely pissed he won't be able to compete on the show, because he trained so hard to learn how to swim and dive.

TMZ has obtained the 911 calls placed moments after Hollywood legend Ed Asner got seriously ill during a performance in Indiana Tuesday.

On one call ... the dispatcher says Asner was "sweating profusely" after getting sick during his one-man play "FDR."

Ed was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The exact nature of the emergency is still unclear -- but as we reported, Ed's son says the actor has been feeling under the weather for a few weeks ... but is now doing fine.

Miranda Kerr suffered injuries to her neck and back during a car wreck in L.A. on Monday ... this according to the model's rep.

Kerr was sporting a neck brace -- which she tried to cover with a scarf -- as she walked around L.A. Tuesday night ... after someone reportedly smashed into her car on an L.A. freeway.

Kerr's rep told Australia's 9 News, "She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious."

Neither Kerr's son Flynn nor her husband Orlando Bloom were in the car at the time of the crash -- but the rep says, "[Orlando is] taking very good care of her. He’s an amazing husband."

There are reports the other driver involved in the wreck was arrested for DUI -- but so far, we are unable to confirm those reports.

Story developing ...

Ed Asner was rushed to a hospital near Gary, Indiana yesterday ... after the 83-year-old actor suffered a medical emergency during a performance of his 1-man show.

15 minutes into his play "FDR" -- crew members escorted Asner off the stage after noticing the actor struggling with his lines.

According to SunTimes.com, Asner was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Asner is a Hollywood legend -- having won Emmys for his role on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and the spin-off "Lou Grant."

He was also the president of the Screen Actors Guild.

8:45 AM PT -- TMZ spoke with Ed's son, Matt, who tells us ... "My dad is doing fine. He was rushed to the hospital yesterday for being disoriented on stage."

"He is resting now at an Indiana hospital and is doing well and very grumpy, which with him is always a good thing."

"He is being assessed right now and what I can say is that it was not a stroke. That much we do know."

"He was feeling under the weather for a few weeks so he may just need some rest but for now he is just fine."

UPDATE: We're told Chuy's replacement is soccer star Brandi Chastain -- the chick who ripped off her jersey and flashed her sports bra when the U.S. won the 1999 World Cup ... which was cool.

When you're Chuy from "Chelsea Lately" ... every foot counts, and we've learned after breaking one, he was forced to drop out of the ABC diving show, "Splash."

Sources connected with the show tell TMZ ... the diminutive sidekick did not know how to dive or even swim when he signed on. Greg Louganis -- a celebrity diving coach on the show -- taught him the ropes, and we're told he was actually good enough to compete.

But fate was not good to Chuy. On Monday, during the very first taping, Chuy jumped up on a table in the lounge area near the pool ... and the table broke. Chuy fell through the table to the ground and fractured his heel bone.

Chuy was treated by EMTs, and a series of X-rays revealed the fracture was such that he could not put any weight on his foot, so he couldn't dive off the board.

That was pretty much a buzzkill, so Chuy bid adieu-ee to "Splash."

Kelly Osbourne was released from the hospital Monday night ... 5 days after suffering a seizure on the set of E!'s "Fashion Police."

Osbourne's rep released a statement ... saying doctors were unable to determine what caused Kelly's seizure ... but they're confident it was a "onetime episode."

Despite the lack of information, Osbourne's rep says the 28-year-old has been given a "clean bill of health by her doctor" and is currently in good spirits.

Valerie Harper was in a great mood over the weekend, looking great and laughing it up as she talked to Savannah Guthrie about her terminal illness.

Harper was on "Today" ... discussing her brain cancer prognosis and the prospect that she may only have 3 months to live. A very wise Harper said, "If you die, you're not a failure. You're just somebody who had cancer, and that's the outcome."

Vince Neil was forced to cut short a concert in Sydney on Sunday after suffering from kidney stones, this according to his manager.

Allen Kovac, manager for Motley Crue, told CNN, "He has been having problems for the last few days with kidney stones. He was treated at the hospital after the show. It's the middle of the night there, and we will know more later."

The group is scheduled to play next in Brisbane on Tuesday and so far ... that show is going forward as planned.

Rihanna has been forced to cancel her concert tonight in Boston after contracting laryngitis, it was announced today.

RiRi was scheduled to perform at the TD Garden, but Live Nation postponed the show this morning, saying, "Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening."

She is scheduled to play a show in Baltimore on Tuesday, which Live Nation says is scheduled to go on as planned. The Boston show will be rescheduled.
