Chris Brown EMERGENCY LANDING Smoke Fills Cockpit in Private Jet
A private jet carrying Chris Brown was forced to make an emergency landing in Burbank yesterday after the cockpit filled with smoke after takeoff ... TMZ has learned.
We've confirmed ... Brown boarded a Gulfstream 3 jet in Burbank and was headed for Teterboro, NJ ... so he could attend the Met Gala event.
But sources tell us ... roughly 7 to 8 minutes into the flight, everyone on board began to notice smoke filling the plane.
One source told us, "It was A LOT of smoke ... everywhere."
The pilot immediately turned the plane around and performed an emergency landing back at Burbank airport.
We're told the passengers were scared ... but the pilot was cool, calm and collected ... and couldn't have handled the situation better.
Here's the crazy part -- after the plane touched down, Brown decided he STILL wanted to get to the Met Gala event in NY ... and boarded ANOTHER private jet within an hour of touching down.
Brown eventually made it to Teterboro ... but he didn't make the Met Gala event. However, he DID make it to an after-party, where he arrived with a smile (see picture above).
Question is ... would YOU get back on a plane after an emergency landing?

P!nk 'KISS MY ASS' I Didn't Fake Sick to Get Out of U.K. Concert
P!nk has a message to all the haters who claim she faked sick to get out of a performance in England -- "KINDLY KISS MY ASS!!"
Ever since P!nk pulled out of her April 22nd show in Birmingham, certain "fans" called BS on the singer's sick excuse ... and insinuated she doesn't really care about her U.K. fans.
But today, P!nk fired back via an open letter on her website ... saying, "I am a human being, therefore I am able to catch illness. It is beyond my control -- and I can't apologize for that."
"And you know what I've been performing through the last week? ROTA virus. Look it up. I challenge any one of you to do what I do while sick with that. You couldn't do it."
FYI -- Rotavirus is no joke. According to the Center for Disease Control, rotavirus causes "severe watery diarrhea, often with vomiting, fever, and abdominal pain."
P!nk actually concludes her letter by apologizing to her "loyal and understanding fans" ... saying, "I am so so sorry if I've hurt you in any way."
"For the rest of you," Pink adds, "Kindly kiss my entire almost back to healthy ass."

Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars was knocked to ground by an overzealous fan last night after the guy bum-rushed the stage in the middle of a concert ... and sent the 62-year-old birthday boy flying.
The show took place at Spectra Place in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada on Saturday ... which just so happened to be Mars' bday.
The band was just finishing the song "Primal Scream" when the guy bolted across the stage, knocking over Mars and then making a run at lead singer Vince Neil ... before security stepped in and hauled the guy away.
The group left the stage briefly to make sure Mars was okay to continue, which he was.
The incident was particularly harrowing because Mars suffers from a painful medical condition called ankylosing spondylitis, which slowly fuses the bones together.

SPAGO BOOM! Busted Skylight Panel Drops Glass On Lunch
Waiter! There's a chunk of glass skylight panel in my soup!
We joke because no one got hurt ... but this is SCARY ... a glass skylight panel at Spago just crumbled and dropped glass in the main dining room during lunch service.
The room was cleared -- customers were moved out to the patio -- and repairs are already under way.
A restaurant spy tells TMZ ... the panel merely cracked and crumbled ... but the safety netting inside held most of it together ... only small bits of glass rained down. Again -- so far NO reports of anyone getting hit.
The panels (stock image from Spago's website above) are about the size of your average small apartment window ... and are fairly new ... they were part of the renovations before the hotspot's reopening last September.
And they say there's no breaking through Hollywood's glass ceiling.

'90s Star Parker Lewis My Shattered Leg Needed More Surgery
Turns out '90s star "Parker Lewis" can lose ... at surgery ... the actor tells TMZ he had to go under the knife a SECOND time following his near-death boating accident, because the first surgery didn't cut it.
Corin Nemec -- star of "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" -- was in a horrific accident back in January, which left him with a shattered leg. Nemec had one surgery (below) earlier this year and was on the road to recovery ... but the break was so extreme, it didn't heal properly.
Nemec tells TMZ ... to fix the problem, doctors had to open his leg up again in order to have his femur reamed -- an intense process which involved inserting a titanium rod into his leg, followed by major grafting work. Pretty painful stuff.
Nemec says he's trying to stay positive despite the setback -- and hopes this surgery will finally fix the problem so he can move on with his life.

Bob Weir Grateful Dead Guitarist Collapses On Stage
Bob Weir -- founding member of the Grateful Dead who now plays guitar for spinoff band Furthur -- had to be helped offstage last night in Port Chester, NY, after collapsing during a song after suffering some serious pain in his shoulder.
The band, which also features former Dead bassist Phil Lesh, was playing the Dead song "Unbroken Chain" when Weir wobbled for a few moments before going down (00:45 mark in the video).
Weir was immediately helped up by crew members and given a chair to sit in on stage. The band finished the song with Weir ... but helped him off the stage as soon as the jam ended.
Lesh returned to the stage moments later and said Weir had been bothered by a strained shoulder. They finished the set without him.
The band is scheduled to play Saturday night in Atlantic City -- no word yet on whether the show will go on.
