It's one of the grisliest coincidences ever -- 5 years after Nick Hogan nearly killed his passenger in a car accident ... the passenger's brother is now in critical condition, after getting into a near-fatal car wreck himself.

In case you forgot ... Nick Hogan was racing his sports car in Florida back in 2007, when he lost control and crashed into a tree. His passenger, John Graziano, is expected to spend the rest of his life in a vegetative state.

Now John's brother Michael Graziano suffered an eerily similar fate -- getting into a serious car accident ... in which he was also the passenger. Even worse ... Michael was NOT wearing a seatbelt, just like his brother John.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the car Graziano was riding in -- a 1994 Volvo -- slammed into the back of a dump truck at 2:30 a.m.

Graziano was rushed to Bayfront Medical Center where he is currently in critical condition. The car's driver was also taken to Bayfront, though his injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening.

Former "Celebrity Rehab" star Shifty Shellshock is currently in a coma in an L.A. hospital -- TMZ has learned.

According to sources, the former Crazy Town singer has been in the ICU since last Thursday and is completely unresponsive. It's unclear what put him there -- but people close to him believe it was drug-related.

Former Team USA wrestling bad ass Kurt Angle has hit a major hurdle in his quest to return to the Olympics ... telling TMZ he sustained a major injury that could put an end to his journey.

Angle -- who won a gold medal for heavyweight freestyle wrestling at the '96 games -- just called in to "TMZ Live" and explained, "I injured my hamstring this morning ... it is a tear."

The 43-year-old says the injury occurred during a training session this morning ... and he has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow.

WWE legend Kamala is at risk of losing another foot due to his diabetes-related medical problems -- this according to his son.

As TMZ previously reported ... Kamala’s left leg was amputated last year due to ongoing complications with diabetes and high blood pressure. Unfortunately the problems aren’t over.

Kamala Jr. went on "The Roman Show" today and revealed, “[My father] is having complications with his other foot now ... Friday we’ll know if they have to take his other foot off.”

Legendary comedian Gallagher is rocking some fresh hardware after his latest heart attack -- his FIFTH to be exact -- claiming doctors installed a brand new stent in a major artery to keep his ticker pumping.

Jonathon Brandmeier from WGN Radio in Chicago called Gallagher's cell phone this morning on a whim -- and the comedian actually answered ... holed up in a hospital room after surgery.

As we previously reported, Gallagher suffered yet another heart attack this weekend in Arizona -- just days after being released from a Texas hospital, following a previous heart attack.

Legendary comedian Gallagher suffered another heart attack, albeit a mild one ... just four days after he was discharged from a hospital in Texas, TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, Gallagher ran out of his heart medication and began to feel like he was having another heart attack ... so he rushed to an Arizona hospital.

A rep for the comedian tells TMZ, "Gallagher suffered a mild heart attack today at a hospital in Sedona due to complications from his previous heart attack. He is awake and resting comfortably now."

Gregg Allman had to cut a performance short last night and was taken to a local hospital because of back pain, TMZ has learned.

A rep for the legendary guitarist tells TMZ he has bulging discs in his back and suffered a flare up 30 minutes before the end of a show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC last night.

The rep says Allman went to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

The Allman Brothers Band is scheduled to play the Beacon again tonight.

One of the kids from "The Sandlot" triggered an all-out emergency at a Vegas hotel last weekend -- when a maid thought she found the guy dead in his room ... but there was one problem ... he wasn't.

Sources tell TMZ, it all went down the morning after St. Paddy's Day -- a housekeeper at the Wyndham Hotel entered a hotel room occupied by 31-year-old Marty York (aka Yeah-Yeah from the movie) and he appeared unconscious.

When the housekeeper tried to wake him, she couldn't. So, she called security, thinking York was dead.

The hotel called 911 and in-house medical staff rushed to the room -- only to find York was actually just hungover ... sleeping off a night off heavy drinking.

"The Situation" is in rehab for substance abuse ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell TMZ the "Jersey Shore" star -- aka Mike Sorrentino -- has checked into an inpatient treatment program.

A rep for the Situation just contacted TMZ to say they are not confirming that Mike is in rehab ... just that he "has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

Like most of the 'JS' crew ... Sorrentino's been on a non-stop party train since the show debuted on MTV 2 years ago -- drinking and making paid appearances at nightclubs all over the world.

1:10 PM PT -- The Situation is currently undergoing treatment for prescription pills at the famous Cirque Lodge in Utah.

Dr. Conrad Murray has dumped 30 pounds because he's pooping out his guts, and he blames the water at L.A. County Jail.

We're told Murray has been extremely sick since becoming an inmate last November. He claims the water smells and tastes bad, and believes it has given him a horrible case of dysentery. Murray says the bad water, along with a bad diet, is ruining his health.

Murray says he can't eat jail food, and is forced to eat what he calls "cat food" which he buys at the commissary .

Murray buys canned tuna for $4.25 a pop, salmon flakes for $3.50 and canned mackerel for $2.50. Murray is telling friends that aside from cats, he's the only human being forced to eat canned mackerel.

We're told Murray is filing multiple appeals to get out of jail, primarily because his health is compromised.

L.A. County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore tells TMZ, "All inmates receive the proper nutrition and medical care that is required by law, but the Sheriff's Dept. goes above and beyond what is required."

John Cena was involved in a car crash today -- the fomer WWE champ was rear-ended by a tractor trailer, but we're told he's ok and his epic upcoming fight with The Rock is not in jeopardy.

Cena was traveling in an SUV in Philadelphia when he was hit. We're told he is going to get checked out but right now it doesn't seem he was injured ... although signs of whiplash often don't show up for a day or two.

Cena is set to face off with The Rock on April 1 -- and the match has become one of the most anticipated in wrestling history.

Comedy legend Gallagher has been taken out of a medically induced coma and is already up and telling jokes, this according to his promotional manager.

Gallagher was put in the coma after suffering a heart attack in Texas earlier this week. The man best known for smashing watermelons was preparing to go on stage, when he began to experience intense chest pains.

The promotional manager says the 65-year-old is talking to friends and family, breathing on his own, moving and joking around.

Former "American Idol" finalist Asia'h Epperson is currently recovering from a bad car accident in which she suffered multiple broken bones ... including her jaw and 9 ribs ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple people close to Asia'h tell us ... the Season 7 semi-finalist has been hospitalized in L.A. ever since the wreck on Wednesday.

We're told Asia'h broke her jaw, pelvis, 9 ribs, and multiple vertebrae. We're told she also suffered injuries to her spleen, lung and kidney.

A rep for Asia'h tells us the singer's family is by her side ... and says doctors believe she'll make a full recovery.

Asia'h got to the final 16 during her run in 2008 ... the same year David Cook won the competition.

Watermelon-smashing comedy legend Gallagher is hospitalized in Texas tonight ... after suffering a heart attack at a bar moments before he was supposed to perform ... TMZ has learned.

65-year-old Gallagher was preparing to go on stage, when he began to experience intense chest pains. The owner of the club called 911 ... and emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported Gallagher to a nearby hospital.

Gallagher's manager tells TMZ ... the comic suffered a "mild to serious" heart attack and will remain in the hospital for the next couple of days while doctors try to figure out what's wrong with his ticker.

A cancer-stricken woman on TLC's "My Strange Addiction" swears by the healing properties of her own urine -- drinking it, rubbing it on her skin, even BATHING in it -- and the footage is stomach-turning.

53-year-old Carrie has been drinking her own urine for 4 years -- downing about 80 ounces of the yellow stuff a day -- and despite a total absence of medical proof, she believes it's helped control her cancer. Carrie says in the show finale (which airs Sunday at 10 PM) ... she hasn't seen a doctor in 6 years.

Carrie doesn't just drink her pee -- she brushes her teeth with it, uses it as lotion, pours it in her hair, bathes in it ... even rinses out her eyeballs with it.

Although Carrie insists her obsession is life-saving -- she says she's noticed a strange mole on her back that changes daily from dark to light.

EMTs came to the aid of Hall of Fame baseball player Frank Robinson during today's Los Angeles Lakers games against the Boston Celtics ... TMZ has learned.

According to a witness, Robinson was attended to during the fourth quarter of the game. He appeared to be in stable condition after medical workers checked him out, which included taking his blood pressure.

Robinson left before the game ended, walking under his own power while being escorted out by a few EMTs.

Robinson, 76, had 586 career home runs during his playing days and is the only player to win league MVP honors in both the National and American Leagues.
