Ronda Rousey has been transported to a hospital in Australia after suffering a devastating knock out during UFC 193.

A rep for the UFC tells TMZ Sports, "Ronda is currently being transported to a local hospital for precautionary purposes."

Ronda was knocked out in the 2nd round after taking a crushing kick to the neck by Holly Holm ... medical personnel rushed to her side in the octogon.

Ronda didn't speak to reporters after the fight -- instead, she was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Lamar Odom's in rough shape -- having a tough time with communication and mobility -- and we're told it's so bad, he can't recognize some close friends and family.

Our sources tell us Lamar has made little progression in the last couple weeks. We're told he's only able to speak a word here and there, and at times he seems "empty."

The scariest part ... Lamar can't recognize longtime friends and even family members when they come to visit. We're told docs believe he's suffered significant brain damage.

Gerald Green allegedly punched a security guard in the eye during his rampage at a Miami condo complex before being restrained and sent to a local hospital ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports, Green showed up at the front desk of his condo with bloody hands. He allegedly asked the clerk to call an ambulance before walking out to the valet area where he collapsed.

Green then got back up, walked inside and when a male security guard tried stopping him from getting back into his condo, he punched the guy in the face.

For the record, officials tell us there was "no evidence to support the punch" ... meaning the alleged victim had no visible injuries and there was no footage available to back up the claim.

Cops say the security guard did NOT want to press charges at the time. However, it doesn't mean the person won't pursue a lawsuit against Green at a later time.

According to the report, Green was "very loud and verbally combative." As we previously reported, witnesses say he was screaming in the lobby. Green was eventually restrained, placed in handcuffs and taken to the hospital.

An Arizona councilman claims the ASU mascot jacked up his back in a photobomb gone wrong at a football game earlier this season ... and now he wants more than $100k from the school.

Tempe councilman David Schapira claims he was at the ASU vs New Mexico game on Sept. 18th ... and was posing for a picture when Sparky the Sundevil mascot jokingly pounced on him.

Problem is ... Schapira says he felt a pop in his back -- and had to be transported to a hospital as a result of the injuries.

In fact, Schapira says he's had to use a cane to walk ever since the incident.

Now, he's filed a formal claim with the university -- demanding more than $120k in damages and other costs. Schapira says he hopes ASU will pay up so he doesn't have to file a lawsuit.

Jason Priestley was hospitalized after being thrown off of a horse on the set of his show, "The Code."

We're told he fell hard Monday and then beelined it for the ER. He stayed in the hospital overnight because he says he has a history of concussions and a neurologist needed to noodle over the impact of the fall. Turns out he did indeed suffer another concussion.

Jason's had his share of mishaps. He fractured his spine and suffered a concussion back in 2002 during a race car crash in Kentucky.

Another frightening shark attack in Australia -- this time the victim is a 20-year-old pro surfer who is now in a medically induced coma after a bull shark took a chunk out of his thigh.

Sam Morgan was surfing near Lighthouse Beach in New South Wales Monday evening when the 10-foot shark decided to strike ... leaving a large wound on his left thigh.

Morgan reportedly got himself back to shore -- where someone called emergency personnel and he was rushed to a nearby hospital to undergo emergency surgery. He's listed in stable condition and remains in a medically induced coma while he recovers.

It's the 11th shark attack in the region THIS YEAR -- two of which were fatal.

Tamar Braxton was way sicker than anyone thought ... in fact, she was on the brink of death, which is why she just quit "Dancing with the Stars."

TMZ broke the story, Tamar went to the ER Monday hours before the live 'DTWS' show with what doctors said was a case of pneumonia. Turns out, it was way more serious. Tamar says she had blood clots on both sides of her lungs.

To make it clear how serious it was, Tamar posted this ... "I woke up to a mirror and saw myself this morning and that makes me the winner because that almost wasn't the case."

Tamar is back in the hospital.

32-year-old Daniel Fleetwood got his final wish when studio execs showed up at his Texas home Wednesday and let him see an unedited version. Daniel was diagnosed with inoperable spindle cell sarcoma in July, and doctors told him he won't make it to Christmas ... when the movie premieres.

Daniel's wife, Ashley, tells us he loved the movie. She can't say much more because she had to sign a confidentiality agreement. She says they watched on their own TV, but it was played from Disney's equipment -- gotta make sure the flick doesn't get jacked.

Abrams put in a phone call to Daniel before they rolled the movie, which Ashley says really made Daniel's day.

11:53 AM PT -- Multiple witnesses at the condo tell us Green was acting strange in the lobby of the condo ... screaming at the top of his lungs.

We're told from several people that there was a huge commotion and it took several people -- including emergency personnel -- to restrain Green and get him on a stretcher and into an ambulance.

One source tells us ... one of Green's teammates was at the scene and tried to help ... eventually getting in the ambulance with Green.

We're told cops did respond to the scene and tried to clear out the lobby -- telling everyone, including residents, they needed to leave the area.

Miami Heat shooting guard Gerald Green was hospitalized in Miami this morning ... the Miami Heat has confirmed.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Miami Fire and Rescue was called to the condo where Green was staying early Wednesday morning.

The nature of Green's illness is unknown at this point.

The 29-year-old did not play in last night's game against the Atlanta Hawks -- the team said it was due to an illness.

The Heat released a statement saying, "This morning we were informed that Gerald Green was admitted into the hospital. Right now our concerns are with Gerald."

One of the nurses charged with treating Bobbi Kristina Brown in her final days was not a nurse at all ... according to cops who've arrested the woman for faking her way into the job.

The Forsyth County Sheriff busted Taiwo Sobamowo for identity theft, forgery, and impersonating a nurse. The Sheriff and police in Duluth, GA believe she used the ID of an actual nurse with a similar name to gain employment as a hospice nurse, and ended up working where Bobbi Kristina was receiving care until her death.

Cops say Sobamowo had recently fled Georgia. She was arrested in North Carolina, and is suspected of previously pulling a similar stunt in the Washington, D.C. area,

FOX5 in Atlanta first reported the arrest. It's unclear if Sobamowo had direct contact with Bobbi Kristina at the hospice.

Lamar Odom has made a shocking turnaround ... his kidneys have improved so much he'll be off 6 hours of daily dialysis and he won't need a kidney transplant ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the big hurdle for days has been Lamar's kidneys and they've responded so well in the last 48 hours they've moved him from the ICU where he was getting dialysis in a private room.

Doctors told Lamar his kidney problems were life-threatening, and they told him they're surprised at the dramatic improvement.

Lamar is on the floor where hospital staff performs physical therapy. We're told Lamar's motor skills are impaired from the strokes, and he'll undergo increasingly rigorous therapy to regain function.

We're told the Kardashians are happy about the news, with one big caveat ... Lamar's now able to make his own decisions, and he hasn't necessarily chosen wisely during the last few months.

For the first time, Harrison Ford tried to reveal the details of his plane crash, but the problem is ... HE DOESN'T REMEMBER MOST OF IT!!

It's pretty incredible -- Harrison was trying to tell Jimmy Kimmel about that day back in March when he made the emergency landing of a single engine WW2 plane on a golf course -- but the last thing he can recall is telling the tower ... this isn't going to end well.

Lamar Odom is doing well enough that he's making his own decisions at the hospital, including who gets in to visit him -- so Khloe Kardashian had nothing to do with his dad getting turned away.

Our sources tell us Lamar's recovery has progressed to the point that he is communicating with doctors and fully participating in decisions about his treatment. We're told that's why Khloe finally decided to leave the hospital a few days ago.

As for what went down when Joe Odom went to the hospital -- we're told Khloe was not even there at the time ... so, if anyone blocked Lamar's dad, it was most likely Lamar himself.

Lamar Odom's dad went to see his son last night but he was shut down, and he blames Khloe Kardashian.

An angry and frustrated Joe Odom went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Wednesday night, but he was told he wasn't on the visitors list.

Joe is sure Lamar wants to see him ... he says they hung out in Vegas almost daily before his son's medical emergency.
