Just last month, Tiger -- 14-years old in dog years -- hit the runway for the "Pattern for Paws" charity dog fashion show in West Hollywood ... but it also appears she hit the bottle.

Tiger, seen above next to a glass of chardonnay sauvignon blanc, had her vices like any up and coming model ... but she also had spirit ... a spirit that was silenced far too soon due to unnecessary dog-on-dog violence.

We've learned Sam sent her beloved bulldog packing for the East Coast to live with family ... after the dog killed a 3-pound Maltese that was roaming the hallway without a leash Monday in Samantha's West Hollywood apartment building.

Sam -- who had worked the night before -- was at home sleeping when the attack occurred. Some of her friends were in her unit. We've learned the friends told Animal Control they heard a human scream and then opened the door and found Cadillac in the hallway alone -- there was no blood on the floor or on the bulldog. None of Sam's friends are copping to allowing Cadillac to get out of the unit.

We've learned Cadillac previously bit another dog in the building and Sam agreed to send the pooch to a 3-week doggie boot camp for socialization. Cadillac returned home just 5 days ago.

Neighbors tell TMZ Cadillac had also bitten a person in the building but we could not confirm it.

As we first reported, authorities received a 911 call from a person who claims Tiger and Tiger's owner were attacked by another dog near Sam's L.A. apartment.

Tiger later died as a result of his injuries.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ someone called 911 around 11:10 AM ... claiming a "pit bull" attacked a smaller dog ... and then attacked the smaller dog's female owner.

We're told when officials arrived at the scene, the smaller dog was dead ... but its owner suffered only minor injuries.

We're told law enforcement has reason to believe the aggressive dog belongs to Sam Ronson ... because the dog's home address corresponds to Sam's apartment.

UPDATE 1:30 PM PT: Sources at the scene tell us the attack dog was not a pit bull, it was a bulldog. Sam Ronson is known to own a bulldog named Cadillac.

We're also told the dog that was killed is a "very small Maltese" ... that looked to weigh roughly three to five pounds. Animal Control has just arrived on scene.

Jesse has officially moved lock, stock and barrel, but sans Cinnabun ... he says because his pooch is an escape artist and he needs to secure the fencing around his Austin property before shipping the pooch to the Lone Star State.

You'll recall ... Cinnabun turned up last February and was MIA for nearly a month, before the dog was returned 23 pounds lighter.

Word is the cat was found 15 hours later in good shape. Let's hope they catch the crazy woman.

Tiger Woods' mistress numero uno recently shot a series of Facebook videos for Cameo Stars -- a la Lindsay Lohan -- in which she canoodles with an adorable (and equally deadly) tiger cub.

During the shoot for the video messages -- which are launching this fall -- Rachel handles the growling, hungry tiger like a pro ... and at one point feeds it milk out of a baby bottle like she's got a B.S. in zoology.

Sources connected with the treatment of the dog tell us, the dog is stable and should recover from her eye and paw injuries. One person from the clinic where the dog was taken after the crash told us, "The CHP was instrumental in saving the dog, by taking her to an emergency facility that was equipped to handle her injuries."

Schwartz -- who recently underwent surgery to remove insect eggs from deep inside her leg -- tells TMZ, she paid $1,000 to have her whole place bug bombed by a local company ... and according to her, every last inch of her house got the full pesticide treatment.

If that weren't bad enough -- the "Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair" winner claims she also had to dump her mattresses, pillows and sheets in the trash ... basically anything that could potentially harbor skin-burrowing creepy crawlies.

Schwartz -- who has to check in with her doctor again in the next few days -- says she's "trying to stay positive."

TMZ spoke with Kerry on her way to meet with doctors at a New York hospital -- where she told us, "There's actually, like stuff ... stuffed inside of my skin right now that they have to remove ... which is why I'm here."

Kerry -- who's still in a tremendous amount of pain -- also told us doctors believe her uninvited inhabitants may have either been spiders or some sort of fly.

But the chick who won "Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair" says she's staying positive --"I'm thinking maybe I'll get superpowers soon ... because that's what happened to Spider-Man when he got bit."

UPDATE: TMZ has learned Kerry stayed overnight at the hospital -- after doctors decided they wanted to keep an eye on her condition. She's expected to be discharged sometime today.

24-year-old Kerry Schwartz -- who won VH1's "Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair" -- claims she decided to head to the ER on Sunday after noticing a bump resembling a bug bite on her leg ... that had grown to the size of a handball.

Schwartz tells TMZ, doctors quickly determined it wasn't a bite ... and sliced into the bump to get a better look ... revealing a nest of "insect eggs" buried deep inside of Kerry's flesh.

Doctors performed a two-hour surgery -- during which they scooped the eggs out of a gaping hole in her thigh ... leaving Kerry with a pretty nasty wound.

Kerry tells us she has another doctor's appointment tomorrow -- you know, to make sure there aren't any leftovers. As for the burning question -- what kind of bug was it? -- Kerry tells us the doctors weren't sure.

While promoting her new reality/hunting show "Goin' Country," Cook -- who placed 7th on "Idol" in 2008 -- recently said, "I never used to like killing animals until I got out and experienced it. It's the food chain. Animals are here for us to eat."

Obviously, the statement didn't sit well with the group In Defense of Animals, who see things a little differently ... saying, "Contrary to Kristy Lee's beliefs, animals are meant to live out their lives in peace, not to be killed for our enjoyment."
