Kim Kardashian was calm, cool, and collected when swarmed by the paparazzi yesterday at LAX ... that is until her elevator arrived and it was FILLED WITH PAPS!!!

Our photog peppered Kim with wedding questions as she made her way to the elevator, but she didn't utter a sound. But Kim had no problem opening her mouth when it came time to banish the gaggle of photogs who magically appeared in her elevator. It was really quite funny.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian can't get married just yet ... and the reason is all about Jay Z.

Sources connected with the soon-to-be husband and wife tell TMZ ... they won't get married until the prenup is signed, and the snag has been a slow down because Kanye just dumped his old management and signed on with Jay Z's Roc Nation. We're told the people at Roc needed to get up to speed and thus the delay.

Our sources say Kanye and Kim are not fighting over the prenup, and we're told it will be signed within a week -- but not much before, because Kanye is out of the country. We're told the nuptials will take place May 24 in Paris.

There are reports Jay Z will be the best man, but we're told that's not true. He's invited and he may be the best businessman, but not the best man.

Lamar Odom's rejection at the door of Penthouse nightclub wasn't just humiliating because Khloe Kardashian was inside with French Montana -- it also sucked because reality show cams caught the whole mess.

Unless LO knew the plot all along??? Hmm ... something wicked this way comes.

The plot thickens -- the nightclub Lamar Odom got denied from insists the rejection was NOT a reality show set-up ... Lamar was turned away because the club was afraid he'd start a Chris Brown-level brawl with French Montana.

As we reported, Odom was spurned from Penthouse in West Hollywood while his ex Khloe Kardashian and her new man French Montana partied inside.

An E! camera crew was conveniently posted up outside the club to capture the rejection -- so obviously there was speculation that Lamar's rejection was a set-up for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" -- but a rep for Penthouse tells TMZ, not so.

The rep says the decision to deny Lamar was the club's decision alone. We're told the nightclub wanted to avoid another bottle-throwing Chris Brown-Drake situation, so bouncers refused to let him in.

Sources close to the Kardashians tell us the same story -- Khloe didn't even know Lamar planned to show up.

You'll recall, Brown and Drake were involved in a massive brawl at W.i.P. nightclub in NYC back in 2012. The brawl resulted in a bunch of lawsuits ... and the club even lost its liquor license for a while. So it's no wonder Penthouse was playing it safe.

Lamar Odom endured one of the most humiliating club denials ever ... he was turned away from a West Hollywood club Tuesday night as his estranged wife and her new boyfriend partied inside.

It all went down at Penthouse. Our photog spotted Lamar rolling up to the club with a few friends. But when Lamar got to the door, he hit 2 big snags -- Khloe and French Montana.

Lamar and his friends stood there for a few minutes and left in defeat. Watch Lamar recoil in controlled anger when someone mentions French Montana.

French Montana was the special guest last night ... French even posted a photo to his Instagram page of him with Kim Kardashian with the caption "Shout out to my BFF @kimkardashian for coming out tonight party was turnt up."

It's unclear if Khloe or French had anything to do with Lamar getting denied -- but there was a giant clue in the form of an E! camera crew ... that just happened to be outside to shoot Lamar getting turned away.

Remember, the guy's under contract to appear on the family reality show -- and since he and Khloe are NOT divorced ... all signs point to Lamar being in on this.

His night didn't end up entirely bad ... he had better luck at Lure, a few miles down the road.

Kylie Jenner helped tattoo her initials on the hand of Lionel Richie's son ... which is both stupid and not entirely legal ... and TMZ has the video.

It all went down at a recording studio in Hollywood on Friday night. According to our sources, Kylie was there with sister Khloe Kardashian, French Montana and Miles Richie.

We're told Miles (who is 19) was getting ink from John Petro, who has tatted up the likes of Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne ... when Kylie decided she wanted to help out.

Sources say Kylie threw on some gloves and put her hands on top of Petro's as he administered the tat -- sorta like when a father lets his kid sit in his lap and "drive" a car.

But according to the LA County Dept. of Public Health, only people over 18 can give tattoos -- or even participate in the process -- and Kylie is only 16.

If authorities decide to go after Jenner, she could be hit with a misdemeanor and fined up to $1,000 ... and Petro could have his license suspended.

As for Richie ... well his punishment lasts for eternity.

Being friends with Kim Kardashian ain’t cheap since she insists on constantly getting married and having bridal shower after bridal shower after ... y'know.

Kim Kardashian put on a white dress this afternoon in Beverly Hills, but it wasn't to marry Kanye West ... it was just for her bridal shower.

As TMZ first reported, the only thing holding up the Kimye wedding now is the prenup. According to our sources, the pair should sign on the dotted line this week, opening the door for the wedding ... which we're told would take place around Memorial Day.

Plan your schedules accordingly. Not that any of us are invited ...

Kourtney and Khloe won't be taking the Hamptons any time soon -- despite announcing plans to tape their new spin-off in the ritzy Long Island villages -- TMZ has learned, NO ONE wants to rent to them for the summer ... so far anyway ... because they're more trouble than they're worth.

Real estate sources tell TMZ, Kourtney and Khloe have been on the hunt for a massive Hamptons property to rent for the summer while they shoot "Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons."

E! announced plans for the new show in March, but perhaps too soon -- because we're told producers have hit brick wall after brick wall while trying to lock down a house to shoot in.

All across the Hamptons, sources tell us, homeowners have unanimously rejected the Kardashians out of fear they'll bring negative exposure to the wealthy communities.

We're told the biggest concern is having paparazzi swarming around neighborhoods. Now a homeowner could step up and save the day for them ... but we're told so far no one is biting.

Pretty funny ... one Southampton snob tells us, they're all worried the Kardashians will "attract trash and ruin Southampton," so they want them to go to East Hampton instead, which is notably more "new money." But we're told even East Hampton doesn't want them.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West can't get married, because their prenup is still being hashed out ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with Kim and Kanye tell TMZ ... the prenup won't be signed until next week -- probably Wednesday at the earliest. We're told the marriage will NOT take place until both sign on the dotted line.

Our sources say -- unlike Kim's prenup with Kris Humphries -- the current negotiations are friendly ... there's no fighting. We're told there's just a lot to work out, and it got complicated by the fact that Kanye recently changed management.

Talley dug deep during his interview with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West during Monday night's Met Gala ... and then touched the golden couple with his fool's gold.

It's unclear how much time passes before the dig and the touch, but Talley is clearly seen touching Kim's shoulder as he kisses her goodbye ... before using the same hand to shake Kanye's.

Kim Kardashian jetted off to Paris to get ready for her upcoming wedding to Kanye West ... and when she landed photogs got a giant surprise ... in the shape of Serena Williams' bubble butt.

Serena and Kim hooked up for the Greatest (Ass) Show on Earth ... oh, and also because S-Dub’s probably a bridesmaid.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are doing something that seems to go against their DNA ... getting married PRIVATELY and without fanfare, and we're told it's going to happen this week.

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... they already have a marriage license and plan to tie the knot before the week is out.

We're told it's strictly on the QT ... so much so they got a "confidential" marriage license so no one officially knows.

Sources tell us ... with a confidential license, K&K won't have to appear publicly at a courthouse to get married ... instead, an official from the court will actually go to them and perform the ceremony privately in their home.

And then, in about a month -- after they're already legally married in California -- we've learned Kim and Kanye will hold a lavish, blow-out wedding ceremony in Paris.

They got engaged on Kim's birthday ... October 21.

French Montana and Khloe Kardashian either sunk to a new low -- or were totally brilliant -- in their use of a panhandler to shield them from cameras this weekend.

You gotta watch this video of them leaving Crustacean -- as Khloe darts for her SUV, she stops to give the panhandler some money ... she even takes a photo with him.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have two words for Selena Gomez -- GOOD RIDDANCE -- because as far as they're concerned ... Selena's the toxic one in their lives, not the other way around.

TMZ broke the story ... Selena cut ties with the Jenners after Coachella because she associates them with all the trappings of Hollywood excess -- drugs, booze, drama -- and she considers them a distraction from her real passion ... music.

But sources close to the Jenner girls tell us, Selena has it twisted -- not only do Kendall and Kylie eschew drugs and alcohol ... they believe Selena's the real drama-obsessed party girl. After all, she's the one who's been to rehab.

We're told things came to a head at Coachella -- Selena had a paranoid meltdown over Justin Bieber, accusing him of hitting on other girls ... and they all had a falling out.

And the Jenners aren't the only ones who've accused Selena of being a bad influence -- as we reported, even Justin blamed their relationship issues on her drinking problems.

Selena Gomez has turned her back on former BFFs Kendall and Kylie Jenner because she wants to focus on what's really important -- MUSIC -- and thinks the Jenners are nothing but a toxic distraction ... sources tell TMZ.

Sources close to Selena tell us, the singer had an epiphany after Coachella last week -- where she was surrounded by booze and drugs while hanging with the Jenner girls, Justin Bieber ... and all the hangers-on that come with them.

We're told Selena's sick of that scene -- so she's decided to cut out what she considers the biggest sources of negativity ... Jenner girls included.

Selena made the cut official, and public ... by unfollowing Kendall and Kylie on Instagram. She also deleted all her Coachella selfies with the sisters.

The Insta-purge continued ... with Bieber and a bunch of others getting dropped -- and, in fact, she's currently following ZERO people.

We're told Selena is determined to stay on the straight and narrow -- focusing on music and, get this ... going to church almost daily.

Makes ya think ... must've been one helluva party at Coachella.
