Ronda Rousey Being WWE Champ Is 'Huge Responsibility'

I'M GETTING USED TO THIS

With great power comes great responsibility -- and for Ronda Rousey that power is being the new WWE Women's Raw champion!

Ronda was getting on a plane after dominating at both SummerSlam and Raw this week -- and, you can tell, she's ready for a nap.

So, when Ronda was asked how she felt -- she told Adam Glyn, "Feels like a huge responsibility and it also feels like Tuesday."

Her point? She's through the weekend grind and now she needs to recharge her batteries for a possible appearance on next week's Raw in Toronto.

It's been a wild couple of days for Rousey -- who beat Alexa Bliss for the belt at SummerSlam on Sunday before putting her boss, Stephanie McMahon, in an armbar during Raw on Monday.

How did it feel to beat up Steph for the 3rd time? Ronda loved it.

"Third time is the best I think," Ronda says. "It's getting better every time. I think we should do it more often."

Ronda and Vince's daughter have had some serious beef since the ex-UFC star joined the WWE ... and things continued to escalate Monday night in New York.

Stephanie took the mic in the ring ... and tried to take credit for Ronda winning the Raw Women’s Championship belt at SummerSlam over the weekend.

When Ronda wasn't ready to hear any of that ... an attack ensued.

If that looked familiar ... it's 'cause it was -- Ronda's done this TWO OTHER TIMES to Steph's arm over the years ... and tells us she's loving it every single time!!

There's more ... Ronda and her husband, Travis Browne, have hinted they could eventually team up in the WWE -- but, Tuesday morning, he said it doesn't look to be "in the cards" at the moment.

As for Ronda ... no date has been set for her first title defense. There are rumblings she could take on Nikki Bella at WWE Evolution in October -- which would be HUGE.

Nikki recently split with longtime boyfriend (turned fiance) John Cena and we're guessing she's got some aggression she's ready to take out.

Cyborg to Ronda Rousey Congrats, But ... I'm Still 'Most Feared'

The rivalry continues ...

Cris "Cyborg" Justino was quick to congratulate Ronda Rousey after she won the WWE Raw Women's Championship on Sunday ... but not without reminding her who's the "most feared" woman alive.

"Congratulations to the Baddest Woman On The Planet for winning your first of many @wwe championship belt

Sincerely,

The Most Feared Woman On The Planet."

Cyborg has been trying to get a fight with Ronda for years -- but it never happened. Cyborg previously accused Ronda of ducking her.

There's been talk of the two facing off in WWE down the line -- with Mick Foley even trying to convince Vince McMahon to sign her.

Judging by her congratulatory note, seems like Cyborg's still down.

Ronda Rousey Move to WWE Was Best Move Ever ... Husband Says

Travis Browne
PROUD HUBBY

Ronda Rousey has been on Cloud 9 ever since she joined WWE -- with her husband, Travis Browne, telling TMZ Sports she's in "full celebration mode all the time."

Browne was in NYC on his way to SummerSlam on Sunday when we asked how she's handling being the biggest star in WWE ... and Travis told us she's thriving behind the scenes.

You gotta watch the clip ... Browne breaks down why being a WWE superstar is much less stressful for Ronda -- and how walking away from fighting has improved her life.

Browne also says there are huge perks for him -- being the husband of the baddest woman on the planet definitely has its pros!

SEE ME IN THE OCTAGON!

T.J. Dillashaw is doubling down on his threats to beat Gervonta Davis' ass in the Octagon ... telling TMZ Sports he REALLY wants to show the boxer "what real fighting is all about!!"

T.J. and Gervonta got in an epic Twitter war last week -- trading all kinds of insults -- and actually challenged each other to a fight.

When the UFC superstar dropped by the TMZ newsroom this week ... he took a break from trash-talking Henry Cejudo to tell us he's dead serious about a future tilt with Gervonta.

"This is a guy I would love to step into the Octagon and show him what fighting is really about," Dillashaw says.

Of course ... Gervonta's never fought in the Octagon before -- so the match would take some time to come together.

But ... T.J. sounds like he's willing to wait.

UFC's Cowboy Cerrone Almost Dies ... In Cave Diving Incident

Published | Updated

UFC legend Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone says he's lucky to be alive after a major disaster during a cave diving excursion in Mexico ... but he told the Grim Reaper, "Not today Mother F**ker!"

Cowboy is an avid diver -- and went to Cozumel to explore some of the underwater caves with a team of scuba divers.

FYI, some of the caves extend about 11 miles inland.

During the dive, Cowboy says he had a "catastrophic worst case scenario" when the gang was caught in a "silt out" ... which is when particles on the sea floor get kicked up, causing ZERO visibility for the divers.

Cerrone says he lost the cave line -- which would have led him out of the cave -- and couldn't find his diving partner.

But, Cowboy kept his composure and ultimately found his way back to safety.

After the incident, Cerrone explained -- "Told the grim reaper 'Not today Mother F**ker' I’m figuring this the f**k out and coming home!!"

Tyron Woodley Furious Over UFC 227 Encounter ... with Darren Till

Published | Updated

Tyron Woodley was so pissed off that he was forced to sit near Darren Till at UFC 227 -- he stormed out of his seat and ordered staff to open a room at the arena so he could release some of his aggression in an impromptu training session.

Woodley and Till are scheduled to fight at UFC 228 in Dallas on Sept. 8 -- but, Tyron says someone at UFC 227 in L.A. thought it would be "real cute to put two f**king dogs next to each other right before they're about to fight."

It didn't sit well with the champ -- and things erupted right inside Staples Center.

Tyron tells the whole story on this week's 'Hollywood Beatdown' -- where he also rips Donald Trump over his "blatantly racist" comments about Omarosa.

Dana White Trained to Fight Tito Ortiz ... But We're Good Now!

Published | Updated

Dana White once hated Tito Ortiz's guts so much that the two men almost had a real-deal boxing match in 2007 -- but we're told the two are actually on good terms now.

It's no secret that White and Ortiz clashed -- but things got so bad back in the day that Dana says the guys were gonna duke it out FOR REAL in a boxing match until, at the 11th hour, Ortiz got cold feet.

White tells Harvey Levin the story about how he brought in a boxing coach and a team to prep for the fight and it'll all be featured on "OBJECTified," which airs Sunday on FOX News Channel.

What's really interesting ... White is CONVINCED he would've won the fight over the UFC Hall of Famer, telling Harvey he had real boxing experience back in the day and felt he is a superior striker.

"I absolutely would've won that boxing match."

Good news for both sides ... they're in a much better place now. No fighting in their future.

FOOTBALL FIGHT CLUB

Before he fought guys 1-on-1 in the Octagon, UFC star Derrick Lewis says he once destroyed TEN GUYS at the same time during a crazy brawl ... and he's telling the story to TMZ Sports.

It all went down back when Derrick was a high school student back in Houston, Texas -- when Lewis says he confronted a bunch of "greaser guys" in a back alley near his friend's house.

"It was about 10 guys ... all like greaser guys with their sleeves rolled up. Something that you would see in the movies, they all in white shirts with jeans on."

"They didn't expect me to come out there -- a black guy in type kind of neighborhood to come outside and I just started whooping up on all of 'em because they were at my buddy's house starting all this mess."

"That was a fun night -- I just started knocking 'em out left and right."

Now, Derrick fights professionals -- he'll be taking on Alexander Volkov at UFC 229.

Vivica A. Fox To Quentin Tarantino ... Make 'Kill Bill 3' And Put Ronda In It!!

Published | Updated

One of the stars of 'Kill Bill' is ALL IN for making a 3rd installment -- with Vivica A. Fox telling TMZ Sports she thinks Ronda Rousey would be the PERFECT star.

Of course, Viv starred in the original flick as Copperhead -- one of the infamous Deadly Viper Assassination Squad members targeted by Uma Thurman's character, Black Mamba.

So, when she heard Ronda was campaigning to play Uma's daughter if Quentin Tarantino decides to make 'KB3' -- Fox LOVED the idea.

KILLIN' FOR A ROLE

"I love Ronda Rousey," Fox said ... "So, you come join the 'Kill Bill' franchise, 'cause we love kick-butt chicks and it's excellent casting for you to play Uma's daughter."

"And you can fight my daughter! And then Uma can be in the background talking about throwing blows on it. All right, I think that's excellent casting."

Fun Fact: 'Hunger Games' star Amandla Stenberg has already thrown her hat in the ring to play Viv's daughter!

There is one pretty big hurdle ... Quentin isn't working on part 3 and hasn't announced any plans to do so in the near future.

But, Fox has a message for him too -- "It's been 15 years, so Quentin come on back, all right?!"

Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to MURDER Conor McGregor when they face off at UFC 229 in October ... this according to former UFC heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum.

The 41-year-old legend was at LAX when we asked to pick a winner in the upcoming superfight -- and Werdum didn't hold back.

"I think Khabib will kill Conor McGregor," Fabricio told us ... "For sure."

Werdum says when it comes down to it, Khabib is a great fighter and built tougher than his Irish opponent.

Not everyone agrees with Fabricio ... UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber is going with McGregor -- telling TMZ Sports he's got one major advantage Khabib won't be able to overcome.

It's all set to go down October 6 in Las Vegas.

THE STARE DOWN

Two UFC champs came face-to-face in the TMZ newsroom on Monday -- talking all sorts of smack to each other ... and begging Dana White to let them settle their beef in the Octagon.

Henry Cejudo had called out T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 227 -- saying he'd come up in weight to fight T.J. for his bantamweight title. T.J. says he's 100% down.

We invited both guys to appear on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs weeknights on FS1) and they accepted ... and the sparks immediately began to fly.

T.J. said he'd knock Henry the hell out, and Henry shot back, "Be careful what you wish for."

T.J. also said a fight with Henry would be "easy money."

Henry said he'd destroy Dillashaw on the ground or on his feet.

It got a little crazy when they squared off right inside the newsroom -- despite the stupid faces Evan was making in the background.

TRAINING CAMP TAKEDOWN

Cris Cyborg straight-up TOSSED a Chargers coach at L.A.'s training camp Monday ... judo-throwing a wide receivers assistant at practice -- and the video is incredible.

The poor guy's name is Phil McGeoghan -- a 6-foot-2, 224-pound ex-NFL player -- who for some reason wanted a pre-practice, hands-on demo from one of the baddest women on the planet.

Cyborg obliges ... picking the guy up and throwing him over her shoulder -- just like Joey Bosa on Sundays.

"Today I had a Job interview with the [Chargers] to be head of security," Cyborg jokingly said of the incident.

"I think it went well...what do you think Coach?"

It all begs the question ... if the two did get in an Octagon -- where Cyborg is clearly more skilled -- WHO WINS THE FIGHT?!

CHECK THESE CHOMPERS!

Daniel Cormier's getting his smile ready for life outside the Octagon ... 'cause the UFC champ got his infamous tooth gap fixed in a recent procedure ... and TMZ Sports has the footage!!

ICYMI -- D.C. had a tooth pulled back in 2014 after the Dan Henderson fight at UFC 173 ... and never bothered to fix the look (makes sense, considering the dude gets punched in the face for a living).

But now that D.C. is inching closer to his retirement fight next March, he hit up Dr. Kourosh Maddahi in Beverly Hills to get a head start on gettin' his chompers back to normal.

Dr. Maddahi tells us all about the bridge procedure ... and says D.C. can get back to sparring within a week's time!!

Hear that, Brock Lesnar?

VIEWING PARTY

It never happened in the UFC ... but Ronda Rousey vs. Cris Cyborg MIGHT go down in the WWE -- with Mick Foley telling TMZ Sports he's been lobbying Vince McMahon to sign the Brazilian star.

"I had a meeting with Mr. McMahon and I specifically told him keep your eyes on this Cyborg vs. Nunes fight," Mick said.

"She's gonna be larger than life and would make a great WWE superstar down the line."

The Cyborg vs. Amanda Nunes fight isn't official yet (they're working on it) -- but Foley thinks it will help propel Cyborg to a new level of fame.

Ronda has been killing it in WWE -- ragdolling just about every woman who's stepped in the ring against her. So, bringing in Cyborg could be the perfect move.

By the way, Foley's a WWE Hall of Famer -- so, he knows a little something about the business ... gotta think Vince is taking his advice seriously.

Cormier said he'd beat Latifi's ass -- saying it would be like taking "free money."
