Big Show Accused of Big Conspiracy with WWE

Published | Updated

Mega-huge wrestler The Big Show lied when he said he was leaving wrestling for boxing, according to a new lawsuit.

The suit claims the 7' tall, 500 pound behemoth cut a deal with SoBe Entertainment in 2007 to become a boxer. SoBe claims they paid Mr. Show $84,000 a month and fronted him an extra $1 mil for a house.

But SoBe was horrified when B.S. suddenly jettisoned his fighting plan and rejoined the WWE in 2008. To add insult to injury, Show's WWE comeback match was against a boxer -- Mr. Floyd Mayweather.

SoBe alleges Big Show conspired with the WWE to ace them out of its deal.

By the way, the Mayweather/Big Show match grossed the WWE $31,000,000, according to the suit.

WWE -- Nuggets Tried to Put Words in Our Mouth

Published | Updated

It looks like the only person who doesn't know Vince McMahon hates the owner of the Denver Nuggets is the owner of the Denver Nuggets -- and the proof is in an unreleased press release we just got our mitts on.

Before a deal had been made regarding the stadium dispute, the unreleased draft was written by Kroenke Sports and submitted to the WWE for their approval to send out to the media. It contained the following pre-written, butt-kissing, "quote" from Vince McMahon -- a quote Vince claims he never, ever said:

"By all accounts, Mr. Kroenke is one of the most respected professional sports team owners in the world, and the professional way he and his staff good-naturedly handled this conflict gives further testament to the type of business leader he is. We look forward to Sunday's WWE event and future events at the Pepsi Center."

We all know Vince had different things to say about Kroenke.

Fan Spits On WWE Star WWE Star Hits Back

Published | Updated

It wasn't scripted -- WWE superstar Chris Jericho was involved in a crazy, expletive-filled mini-brawl with fans yesterday ... and one of the people involved was a woman.

It all went down after a WWE event at the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, BC -- an angry crowd began heckling Chris Jericho as he was driving out of the parking lot. When Jericho stared down a female fan, that's when things got violent...

In the video, it appears she spit on the wrestler -- Jericho flipped out and the woman was knocked to the ground. At that point, one of the dudes in the crowd rushes in to attack Chris.

Jericho managed to shove that guy away -- and others who got close. During the melee, Chris can be heard screaming at security to "do your f***ing job." Finally, security tackled one of the men to the ground and Chris was able to get in his ride and take off.

Cops in Victoria -- who are currently investigating the incident -- called it a "minor event."

UPDATE: Two people who were allegedly involved in the incident were arrested and later released without being charged, according to the Times Colonist.

WWE Star -- No Third Strike Called

Published | Updated

Oft-troubled WWE star Jeff Hardy was kicked off an airplane flight earlier this week, but now the WWE says it won't be his third strike.

Hardy was pegged by Southwest Airlines officials Tuesday at the Nashville International Airport as too intoxicated to board the plane. We're told he found a different way out of town.

The once-fired and two-time suspended WWE star has had his share of drug problems and can't afford a third strike -- which would win him a pink slip.

But the whole thing Tuesday was precautionary -- there was no incident and the WWE will turn a blind eye. And there's this -- Hardy is starring in the next WWE pay-per-view event next month, and that will line the org's pockets nicely.
