George Zimmerman put down his guns long enough to shoot off his mouth instead at President Barack Obama ... accusing him of shedding crocodile tears over mass shootings.

Zimmerman, was leaving a shooting range near Orlando when he unloaded on a photog about what he calls Obama's phony, emotional outpouring over the Sandy Hook massacre during Tuesday's gun control news conference.

Zimmerman, the infamous shooter of Trayvon Martin, went even further with his rant -- taking issue with a bunch of things Obama said, and one thing he did NOT say.

James Caan's wife is asking for more money in the child support department because she says her 75-year-old estranged husband is still rolling in the dough.

As we reported, James has put his foot down, claiming his wife has been draining his assets to the point he has to take unworthy roles just to keep the financial boat afloat.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, he made more than a million bucks last year alone just from residuals. For example, she says he made more than $140k just from "Elf," which plays 'round the clock during Christmas.

Linda also wants some serious 'Godfather' money, claiming among other things she's entitled to half the residuals he gets from the video games.

We obtained other docs which show the couple has a lot in the way of pricey assets. He's asking the judge to force her to ante up a Chagall painting, a Picasso, a Dali, a gold record of "Funny Lady" and a crossword puzzle from President Clinton.

As we previously reported, Caan tells TMZ he harbors no ill will, saying, "Linda is a beautiful woman who gave me 2 beautiful sons which helped enrich my life tremendously, and I'll always be indebted to her for that."

4:30 PM PT: Sources close to Ciara tell TMZ ... "Ciara has never prevented him from seeing his child. Future is jealous that she has moved on and is happy. He is unable to move on and co-parent in a healthy way."

We're also told Ciara believes Future uses their situation to stay in the press in order to "promote his music."

Future has gone off on baby mama Ciara because she ruined his Christmas by shutting him off from his own son.

We're told Future planned a huge Christmas dinner and wanted all of his kids at the table. Ciara agreed at first but then went radio silent. Baby Future never saw his dad and it sent Future through the roof.

Sources close to the rapper tell us the two parents haven't been on speaking terms for a year. They communicate through a family member but now Ciara won't deal with anyone on his side.

Our sources say the rapper was hoping Ciara's relationship with Seattle Seahawk QB Russell Wilson would make the bitterness subside, but that hasn't happened.

It's so bad ... the rapper thinks it may be time to get a judge involved.

Future is blasting his baby mama Ciara saying she's a "bitch" with control problems and she's preventing him from seeing their 1-year-old son.

Future's sounded off in a series of tweets ... one where he admitted that just to see his kid -- also named Future -- he has to go through lawyers despite the $15k he pays in child support.

Future says he's been silent for a year and half but that's all going to change because he's run out of patience and just wants his kid.

Lil Wayne and Birdman didn't just party together on New Year's Eve ... they are trying to reconcile after a nasty fight that has turned into a legal war.

We've learned Mack Maine arranged for a phone conference between Wayne and Birdman 2 hours before Drake's party. The 2 discussed their conflict over Young Money and the millions Birdman allegedly owes his protegee.

Our sources say both Wayne and Birdman have strong feelings about burying the hatchet. That said, we're told Wayne will not move to dismiss his lawsuit unless and until they reach an agreement.

As for why they came together, we're told Mack Maine has a lot of influence, especially with Wayne, and opened his mind to a settlement.

James Caan says his estranged wife is hammering him for money to the point he has to take crappy roles just to make enough money to feed the beast.

Caan just filed legal docs in his divorce case, claiming he wants to retire but estranged wife Linda Caan is blowing through his savings and he's forced to keep working to pay the bills.

Caan, who has started in epic movies including "The Godfather," says he has medical issues and at 75 wants to hang it up.

What he says is particularly galling is that he feels she's forcing him to sully his reputation, saying, "I am no longer willing to take parts in films and/or television shows which detract from the 50 years I have spent building my reputation."

Caan says just this past summer, he was forced to do a film called, "Sicilian Vampire." He says it was humiliating ... the premiere was in NYC and only 50 people showed.

As for what he's currently paying ... $13,000 a month in child support for their 2 children. It appears she's asking for more money and he's filed these documents in response.

Looks like Snoop Dogg isn't over the Eagles ruining his fantasy season ... 'cause he DESTROYED ex-Philly coach Chip Kelly on social media ... just hours after Kelly was run out of town.

Snoop used classic cinema to pimp slap Chip ... posting a picture from the movie "Friday" with the famous line where Smokey berates Craig for getting fired on his day off.

We don't know if Tuesday was actually an off day for Kelly ... but one thing's for sure ... the pic is hysterical.

Gilbert Arenas is about to lose access to his 4 children if his baby mama has her way ... and it's all over a 15 second video of their 8-year-old son on the hood of a moving vehicle.

Gilbert was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and scoffed at baby mama Laura Govan's allegation he's a reckless parent by putting little Alijah on the front of a Polaris Slingshot and driving at around 15 MPH.

Gilbert told us he got an email from Laura's people saying they were going to try and take custody away from him, and TMZ Sports has learned he told the truth.

Our sources say Laura -- who currently has primary physical custody -- will go to court and ask the judge to significantly reduce Gilbert's visitation. She also wants the judge to impose safeguards so the kids aren't put in dangerous situations.

As one Laura source put it, "This is just the straw that broke the camel's back. He's done many other things."

Meek Mill has no master plan to take out Drake ... despite their ongoing beef over Drake's alleged ghost-writing lyrics. It's an issue because of some leaked lyrics suggesting otherwise.

Sources close to Meek tell us he was not referring to Drake in "Dreamchasers 4" -- "I can't wait until we run into ya. Ima put a gun in ya."

We're told Meek is insisting he wasn't talking about anyone in particular ... it was just a lyric.

We're told Meek is trying hard to stay on the straight and narrow because he's under a microscope in his probation violation case.

Madonna's son didn't have to be sold by Guy Ritchie when the 15-year-old made the decision to stay in London ... we're told Rocco was fed up with the singer, her lifestyle and her parenting skills.

Sources who were on Madonna's tour tell us, Rocco was "miserable" being carted around the world by his mom. As one source put it, "There were horrible, full-blown fights with screaming and crying."

We're told during the Stockholm leg of the tour, Rocco was a no-show when the charter plane was ready to take off ... he had made an escape run, but it appears he eventually came back.

Things deteriorated during the London shows in December. Rocco told his dad he couldn't handle it anymore ... he couldn't take the traveling and the fights. Our sources say Rocco told Guy he felt like Madonna treated him more like a trophy than a son.

Rocco now thinks his mom is jealous of his dad's "stable life" and his desire to live with his dad.

Rocco has been ordered to return to NYC for a court hearing. It will be interesting to hear if his bad feelings dissipate and how much the judge considers his living preference.

Russell Crowe is an accomplished actor who is oblivious to one of the biggest safety stories circulating over the last week ... and apparently that's why he blasted Virgin Australia for putting the kibosh on his hoverboard holiday.

Russell was trying to board a Virgin jet with his kids when he was told hoverboards were banned. He seemed to get pissed off, tweeting, "Goodbye Virgin. Never again."

Virgin ... owned by Richard Branson, as big a celeb as Russell, fired back through his employees that it is well-documented in confirmation and check-in information that the boards are banned.

Rick Hilton says Kyle Richards is so pissed off at Bravo for airing her family's dirty laundry, she's quitting the show ... but our production sources say Rick's just wrong.

We got Rick at LAX Monday, and asked about the family rift over Nicky's wedding ... where Kyle's hubby Mauricio was persona non grata.

Rick told us Kyle's upset at Bravo ... so upset she's given notice. Fact is ... we're told Kyle has threatened to quit in the past.

Guy Ritchie got in Rocco's ear and drove a wedge between Madonna and the 15-year-old ... sources close to Madonna tell TMZ.

We're told Guy and Madonna have had a "volatile" relationship for years, and Rocco has been a source of conflict. Madonna, we're told, is a strict disciplinarian and "very controlling" ... something that doesn't sit well with Rocco and for that matter most 15 year olds.

Our Madonna sources say Guy was angry at Madonna and used his visit with Rocco to stoke the coals, and it worked.

We're told Madonna isn't worried ... she's confident Rocco's coming back home for good, and this is just part of the co-parenting hand she's been dealt.

'RHOA' star Peter Thomas says he didn't do anything to deserve the shade Apollo Nida threw at him from prison.

Apollo singled out Peter last Monday, calling him a "fake friend" on Instagram. It was pretty out of the blue ... Apollo's been radio silent since starting his 8 year sentence for fraud a year ago.

Sources close to Apollo tell us he became enraged after hearing Peter has been bad mouthing him, saying Apollo deserved his prison sentence for stealing and money laundering. Apollo feels betrayed by Peter, and is also upset he hasn't heard a peep from Peter since getting locked up.

Peter, who's married to Cynthia Bailey, tells us his number hasn't changed and he has no idea why Apollo would air his beef on social media instead of calling him from the slammer.

Peter says he's got a lot of friends in the big house and there's a drill ... they call you, because you can't call them. Peter could have sat down and penned a letter, but he says he's not much of a letter writer.

The way Peter put it to us, "If I am a fake friend because I don’t write a letter, then I’m a fake friend."
