Kanye West is a hypocrite for embracing his wife's sex tape now that it suits his purposes, after blasting Ray J for daring to write a song about the famous video ... at least that's what Ray has been telling his crew.

We're told Ray is livid that Kanye rhapsodized about the sex tape during the VMAs ... even giving him a shout-out. You'll recall after Ray J dropped "I Hit it First," Kanye called him "Brandy's little sister" and threw in "lame" for bad measure.

Ray J can't do anything about his cameo in the "Famous" video, but he's not happy about it ... and it has nothing to do with shame over the sex tape. He just feels Kanye is two-faced for turning his nose up at the tape but then embracing it to make a buck.

We're told Ray is also pissed that Kim trashed him after he released "I Hit it First," but then grinned ear to ear at the VMAs when Kanye referred to the sexual tryst that made her untold millions of bucks.

NASCAR legend Tony Stewart just fired a huge shot at Colin Kaepernick -- calling him a "dumbass" and an "idiot" over his National Anthem protest.

"I'm sorry but @Kaepernick7 needs to learn the fact about police before running his dumbass mouth," Stewart said on Twitter.

"He has no clue what they go thru! #idiot."

Stewart is essentially echoing the sentiments of the San Francisco Police Officers Association -- which claimed the QB showed an "incredible lack of knowledge."

So far, Kaepernick has yet to respond to Stewart or the SFPOA.

3:04 PM PT -- Dolphins running back Arian Foster saw Tony's tweet and has responded -- saying, "How about attempting to educate him via your views instead of fueling hatred."

Diddy and Drake haven't just squashed their beef, they've built a bonafide friendship ... and that's why Diddy made the surprise appearance at his North Carolina concert.

Sources close to the rappers tell us they hang out frequently since hashing out their legendary Miami fight with a phone call a year ago.

Diddy's been holding a boot camp in Pennsylvania for his upcoming Bad Boy Family Reunion tour -- and we're told Diddy took a private jet to Carolina after Drake hooked up tickets for him and his crew.

As for why Diddy sat with the normies -- one source says Diddy wanted to experience the show like a fan ... and BFF, of course.

The bromance was even on display at the VMAs.

Kanye West was given 4 minutes onstage during the VMAs to do anything he wanted, and he did ... he took 7.

Yeezy started with an homage to himself ... how good it was to be him, and then he quickly gave shout-outs to the man who made his wife famous in that sex tape and the woman who preceded her with him.

Yes, Ray J, Amber Rose, even Taylor Swift all made air, along with many others who were in the bed of celebrities ... which Kanye explained in great detail.

Kim was eating it up.

Rick Ross fired a warning shot in the air for Drake ... on the heels of the renewed feud with Meek Mill.

Rick was on the "Drink Champs" podcast when N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN asked about his homie, Meek, getting destroyed by Drizzy. Rozay made it clear .. he does NOT think Meek lost a damn thing. As he put it, "We all rich!"

But after Drake's stop in Philly last weekend the beef's been heating up again and Ricky says if it continues, this time ... he'll be jumping in too.

Lenny Dykstra says he's done trading insults with Mickey Rourke -- AND NOW HE WANTS TO FIGHT!!!

The ex-MLB star says he saw the recent video of Mickey threatening to beat up Lenny on sight -- and says he's sick and tired of the talk ... it's time to put up or shut up.

"You know what dude ... we need to f***ing get it on! Mano y f***ing Mano. In front of the f***ing world so I can f***ing embarrass your f***ing ass."

Dykstra lays out THREE reasons why Mickey needs to agree to a REAL DEAL boxing match -- one of which is, "What's the worst thing, you can't get any f***ing uglier after I f***ing rearrange your f***ing face mother f***er."

Amber Heard has just fired back at Johnny Depp, saying if he really cares about donating Amber's divorce settlement he'll ante up $14 million, not $7 mil ... and in fact she's insisting on that.

Amber's team tells TMZ, Johnny is not being up-front about his latest move ... giving Children's Hospital of L.A. and the ACLU the $7 million earmarked for Amber.

Amber said last week she would donate the settlement money to the 2 charities, but her people tell us if Johnny sends the money directly to the 2 organizations he's not really paying $7 mil, because he gets a charitable tax deduction.

And we're told Amber's position is that the money is not Johnny's to give away.

Amber's people tell TMZ, "If Johnny wishes to change the settlement agreement, we must insist that he honor the full amount by donating $14M to charity, which after accounting for his tax deduction, is equal to his $7M payment obligation to Amber."

The team goes on ... "We would also insist that the full amount be paid immediately and not drawn out over many years."

They blast Johnny's team, saying, "Anything less would be a transparent attempt by Johnny's counsel, Laura Wasser and Patti Glaser, to reduce their client's true payment by half under the guise of newfound concern for charities that he has never previously supported."

It's gotta be Tara Reid's least fave starring role, but it's also the one that started Kim Kardashian's march to fame -- and maybe the most classic TMZ clip of all time.

It all went down 10 years ago today -- hard to believe -- outside Hyde on Sunset, which was THE spot at the time. Tara was forced to wait at the door when along came her former BFF Paris Hilton ... arm-in-arm with Kim.

Johnny Depp is heaping praise on Amber Heard for promising to donate her $7 million divorce settlement to charity ... and he's so moved he's sending the checks directly to the 2 organizations she personally picked.

Amber announced after striking her settlement she would donate every penny to the ACLU and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles -- $3.5 mil each. We checked with Children's Hospital Tuesday and they had not yet received any of the money.

We've learned both the ACLU and Children's Hospital got checks Wednesday from Johnny, on behalf of Amber. The checks are the first in a number of installments that will eventually total $7 million.

A rep for Johnny tells TMZ, "Following Amber Heard's announcement that her divorce settlement was to be divided equally and gifted to Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union, two exceptionally deserving and important charities, Johnny Depp has sent the first of multiple installments of those monies to each charity in the name of Amber Heard, which when completed will honor the full amount of Ms. Heard's pledge."

The rep adds, "Ms. Heard's generosity in giving to these wonderful causes is deeply respected."

Everybody happy now?

UFC superstar Paige VanZant says she's on such good terms with Ronda Rousey after their heated encounter earlier this year ... she's decided to read her book ... and LIKES IT.

As we previously reported, Rousey confronted Paige at an event in L.A. back in April -- and cussed her out for congratulating Holly Holm on her victory at UFC 197.

VanZant says it's all water under the bridge -- "we're cool actually" -- and says she's learning a lot about Rousey in her book, "My Fight/Your Fight."

"It's really good and it's cool to kinda get inside and see the things that she's gone through that are similar to me," Paige said ... "So yeah ... no worries there."

Paige is gearing up to fight Bec Rawlings at UFC Fight Night in Vancouver on Saturday -- and essentially guarantees victory.

Diddy showed up on Drake's turf ... sitting in the crowd at one of his concerts, and proving the two have truly waved the white flag in their feud.

Diddy had one of the best seats in the house at Drake and Future's Summer 16 stop in Greensboro, NC. He didn't get up onstage, but just being in the audience is a huge step.

Drizzy and Diddy famously threw down in 2014 outside LIV nightclub in Miami -- the climax of their beef over the track, "0 to 100/ The Catch Up." As we reported, they eventually settled the matter man-to-man ... over the phone.

Drake's been playing the track in his sets, so Diddy was probably treated to the live version.

The beef between "Bachelor in Paradise" stars Josh Murray and Nick Viall is so real, Nick hasn't returned Josh's phone calls since season 3 wrapped ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to production tell TMZ ... when 'BiP' wrapped in June, several cast members warned Josh that Nick portrayed him as the villain for stealing away Amanda Stanton. Our sources say Josh felt blindsided by the bad blood but wanted to make things cool with Nick, so he reached out to him before the show aired ... but Nick never responded.

Sources close to Josh tell us he feels Nick seized the opportunity to play the role as a "victim" and feels that he won over Amanda fairly. When Josh first arrived at the house, he asked the girls if any of them were in a serious relationship ... and Amanda said no. However, we're told the clip didn't make the cut.

After seeing the drama unfold, we're told Josh feels it's now too late to ever respect him again.

Now that's tough love.

Ed Hartwell curiously unloaded his Georgia mansion for an enormous loss just two days after blindsiding Keshia Knight Pulliam with divorce papers.

We've learned Hartwell sold the 6 bedroom, 8,000 square foot home for $690k ... he'd had it on and off the market since 2012 before finally selling late last month. Ed originally bought the house for $1.268 mil in 2005 ... so he lost around $580k on the property.

The timing of the sale is interesting ... Ed owned the home well before he and Keshia got married, so it's his property regardless. As for why the fire sale ... no one's talking, but you gotta wonder if he's bracing for lots of legal expenses.

As TMZ reported -- the two are currently locked in a bitter court battle ... which includes nasty paternity issues and claims of emotional abuse.

Meek Mill tried to set up a full blockade of Drake in Philadelphia, but the plan blew up in his face ... TMZ has learned.

Sources in both rappers' camps tell us Meek had Sunday night marked down on his calendar -- knowing full well Drake was scheduled to be behind enemy lines ... performing in Meek's hometown. We're told Meek's crew put out calls to several nightclubs asking them to turn down Drake if he wanted to throw an after-party.

Meek's camp also put out calls to several hundred of their homies in town, and asked them to make a show of force at the Wells Fargo Center. Things really got heated when their crews contacted each other directly -- Meek's team warning Drake's that there better not be any disrespect when they got to Philly.

We're told the warning only pissed off Drake ... and reignited the beef. This is exactly why he called Meek a "p****" on Saturday night ... and then ripped into him even harder in Philly.

For what it's worth -- Drake did NOT party in town after the concert. It's unclear if that's because Meek's blockade was successful, or if Drizzy just chose to get the hell outta Dodge ... with all his bodyguards nearby.

More VIOLENT THREATS in the Mickey Rourke vs. Lenny Dykstra beef ... this time coming from Lenny, who says if the two actually brawl ... IT WILL BE TO THE DEATH!!!

Nails called in to the 'Drew and Mike' podcast Monday and responded to vicious and serious threats Rourke made ... when he told us he was going to break Lenny's face if he saw him.

If you thought Lenny was going to play peacemaker YOU THOUGHT WRONG ... he absolutely unloads on Rourke calling him a p***y and saying if their fight ever does happen it can only end one way.

"Someone said he can fight and all this ... I don't know. Well, he better be able to fight ... you have to kill me motherf***er."

You gotta listen ... Lenny absolutely skewers Mickey on EVERYTHING ... accusing him of being an old, broken down, juiced up former domestic abuser.

This one is definitely 100% real.

Doc Gooden says he's officially ending his public feud with Darryl Strawberry ... telling TMZ Sports, "I'm moving on with my life" after trading nasty barbs with his ex-Mets teammate.

Things went south between Doc and Darryl on Thursday -- when Doc no-showed at an event and Strawberry chalked it up to drugs.

"My fear is that -- and I know addiction -- and my fear is people that don’t change, they die," Strawberry told the crowd ... "I just hope the light comes on soon before it’s too late."

Gooden was PISSED -- and responded on Monday night by not only declaring he's been sober for 4 years ... but also accusing Strawberry of infidelity.

"Darryl has a drug rehab in his name, he is supposed to be a pastor. I call him Lucifer," Doc said.

But Gooden now tells TMZ Sports he's calling off his attack -- and officially ENDING his war on Strawberry.
