Our sources say a 911 call was made and cops showed up within 5 minutes to search for the prowler, but he was long gone. Police spoke with the OG Captain Kirk to make sure everything was fine at his place, which it was.
We're told cops have upped patrols in the area and are still looking for the guy.

Pamela Anderson Wanna Lease My Malibu Estate???
Pam Anderson is living in Europe, at least for now, so it makes sense that, rather than just letting her awesome Malibu home sit empty, she's leasing it for a cool $40k a month ... and more during summer.
The 5,500 square foot house is pretty spectacular. It's super architectural, with floating staircases, massive closets, a Picasso-style tub, a detached guest house, a cool pool and, of course, the Pacific Ocean.
The $40k a month price tag is for long-term leases, but during the summer months the price soars to $70k a month. Pam's listed the house with super realtor Chris Cortazzo.
The ocean -- and the super exclusive Malibu Colony where the house is located -- don't come cheap.

Dominic Monaghan Sues You Screwed Up My Yard And You Didn't Have a License to Do It!
Dominic Monaghan had some landscaping done at his place by a guy he thought was qualified to do the job -- but turned out to be far from it ... this according to a new lawsuit.
The "Lord of the Rings" and "Lost" star just filed suit against Bruce De Luis, who Monaghan says presented himself as a contractor last year and agreed to do some work on his L.A. property -- installing steps and a stone patio, as well as general landscaping.
Monaghan claims he shelled out a total of $53,840 for the job, but eventually came to find a bunch of defects and a substandard end product. He says he got a new estimate from a licensed contractor for the repairs, which came out to about $21,000.
When he went back to De Luis -- who Monaghan claims didn't have a contractor's license to begin with -- the actor says the guy told him to get lost ... refusing to reimburse him for the alleged sloppy work.
Monaghan's asking a judge to force De Luis to fork over his original expenses and other damages.

O.J. Simpson LOVES Vegas ... Ditches Florida Plans
What commits crimes in Vegas, stays in Vegas ... at least, when it comes to O.J. Simpson.
The Juice has officially scratched pre-prison release plans to move to Florida because he's fallen in love with Sin City, and the fact that he gets to play golf while the rest of the country freezes.
"Mr. Simpson has no immediate plans to return to Florida," Simpson's attorney Malcolm LaVergne told the AP.
"He's very much enjoying his time here in Vegas. It's January, he gets to play golf every day."
Simpson had told state parole officials he planned to move to Florida after serving his time for armed robbery in Nevada ... but it's a different ballgame now. He gets treated like a star in Vegas, not a murderer.

Bruce Willis Want My Central Park Crib? Cough Up $17.75m!!!

Trent Reznor My Neighbor Has It Out For Me ... Don't Let Him Get Any Closer!!!
Trent Reznor's neighbor has a dangerous hatred of him and has been harassing him and his family for months ... according to new legal docs.
The Nine Inch Nails founder filed paperwork to keep his neighbor Nader Afshar away, claiming the man recently expressed his hatred of Reznor to a friend who was leaving Trent's house ... and yelled at him that "Satan" was going to get Trent.
Reznor claims Afshar behaves irrationally and has been increasingly threatening to him and his family over the past 6 months, and he's had to get police involved.
On Christmas Eve -- according to the docs -- Trent says he was outside playing with his kids when he spotted Afshar "disheveled" wearing an open shirt, shorts and Santa hat ... walking up and down the sidewalk ranting, "rich people can do anything they want, but the Lord will get them in the end."
Trent asked a judge to to keep his neighbor at least 10 yards away from him, his family and employees while they're working at his residence ... the judge agreed.
A court hearing on the matter's set for next month.

Jeff Bridges My Home Next to Oprah's Wrecked By Mudslide
Now we know to whom Oprah was referring on video when she pointed to a neighbor's home that was decimated by the mudslides ... it was the home of actor Jeff Bridges.
The star of "The Big Lebowski" bought the home 3 years ago for $6.8 million. We're told the house could be a total loss, but it's impossible to know at this point because the debris makes the extent of damage almost impossible to assess. Bridges says at the very least, the 3,300 square foot home was "severely damaged."
Our home has been severely damaged, but we are safe, and so thankful for that and for the first responders who are working tirelessly to save people. We are heartbroken over the loss of lives in our community. Your prayers and best wishes are most appreciated.
@TheJeffBridges
Oprah trudged through the mud the day after the slides hit and pointed out the home, but never said who owned it.
The slides have killed at least 17 people and 8 are still missing. A hundred homes were destroyed.
Jeff owned another home in Montecito but sold it for $16 million less than a year ago.

Oprah Captures Crushing Mudslide Damage ... Around Montecito Home
Oprah's potential presidential hopes are taking an immediate backseat to Mother Nature -- 'cause her and her neighbors' homes have been rocked by mudslides in Montecito.
O posted video of property damage around what appears to be her main house in Santa Barbara County after torrential rainfall caused flash flooding and deadly mudslides in the area. She's also got a separate horse farm nearby.
You can see mud getting as high as her knees here in what used to be the pristine grounds surrounding her property. She says her neighbors got the worst of it.
Oprah isn't the only star to be affected by the mudslides -- which have killed at least 15 people in Southern California so far. Rob Lowe tweeted about the natural disaster, as did Ellen DeGeneres and Bella and Gigi Hadid.

As we reported ... rumors have been swirling this week that Oprah might be considering a presidential bid for 2020. She's clearly not thinking about that right now, though.

'Pretty Little Liars' Star Lucy Hale Home Burglarized Over $15k of Goods Stolen
Lucy Hale is out at least $15,000, and probably even more, after her home was hit by burglars ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us the "Pretty Little Liars" actress' San Fernando Valley home was broken into and burglarized very early Friday morning. We're told the perp smashed through one of her front windows and stole jewelry and purses currently valued in excess of $15k -- but that number is likely to go up once full inventory is taken.
Lucy was not home at the time of the break-in. We're also told her alarm was on, and all signs point to this being a random hit ... not a case of burglars targeting a specific celeb.
That jibes with the string of burglaries over the last year -- which, as we've told you, cops believe are being carried out by professionals looking for nice houses. Celebs just seem to be casualties getting hit along the way.
