Robert Mueller NFL Ran a Half-Ass Investigation Into Ray Rice

Published | Updated

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has just released his report about his 4-month investigation into the NFL's handling of the Ray Rice situation ... and essentially says the NFL dropped the ball.

"We concluded there was substantial information about the incident even without the in-elevator video –indicating the need for a more thorough investigation."

"The NFL should have done more with the information it had," Mueller said.

THE BRUTAL ATTACK

Mueller also called BS on an Associated Press report which claimed a female employee received the video before it was published on TMZ Sports.

"Responding to a news story that a woman at the NFL confirmed receipt of the video in the April 9 call, investigators traced every outgoing phone call from the NFL, and took several other investigative actions that are detailed in the report.

"The investigators interviewed every female employee, contractor or vendor whose electronic badge recorded that she was in the league's main office on that day. Each was asked whether they made such a call or had any knowledge about the receipt by the NFL of an in-elevator video of the Rice incident."

Mueller says his investigators spoke with more than 200 NFL employees and searched more than 400 computers but didn't find a single digital trace or sign of the in-elevator video before we published it on TMZ Sports.

The report also says, "League investigators did not contact any of the police officers who investigated the incident, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, or the Revel to attempt to obtain or view the in-elevator video or to obtain other information."

Mueller says investigators also set up an anonymous tip line for NFL employees -- but "we received no calls."

Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement, "While this investigation has now concluded, our focus on the underlying issues and our commitment to positive change remain as strong as ever. We have all learned a great deal in the past months and expect to be judged by how we lead going forward on issues of domestic violence and sexual assault."

Michael J. Fox's famous Parkinson's Foundation is asking a judge to give the green light for a big merger with the Michael Stern Parkinson's Research Foundation.

But based on the court documents -- obtained by TMZ -- it looks like Fox's group thinks the Stern group has some promising research that can help toward finding a cure.

Michael Stern was a reporter for The New York Journal. He died in 2009.

Three 6 Mafia Rapper WANTED After Allegedly Beating Fiancee

Published | Updated

12:50 PM Crunchy's fiancee tells us the rapper never beat her and she never locked herself in a bathroom. She claims there were two other men who caused her injuries, but they fled before cops arrived.

Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black is a wanted man in Minnesota after cops says he beat his fiancee and then thumbed his nose at the judge.

CB and his lady were in a hotel room in March when guests began hearing thuds and screaming coming from the room. A hotel employee went up to check and found Crunchy's financee had locked herself in the bathroom.

The hotel employee claimed CB's fiancee said she would only come out if Crunchy would "stop beating her." When police arrived, they found blood on the hotel bed and door frame as well as facial injuries.

The rapper was arrested and jailed, but not just for domestic violence. Cops say when he was booked, they found coke in his pocket.

Crunchy was charged with two counts of domestic assault and one count of drug possession ... all felonies. He skipped his November court date so a warrant has now been issued for his arrest.

Three 6 Mafia won an Oscar in 2006 for writing "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" ... sure is.

Ludacris Baby Mama Says Marriage is a Cheap Trick to Win Custody

Published | Updated

Ludacris' hastily arranged marriage is a cheap trick in his attempt to gain full custody of his daughter ... so says a source close to his baby mama.

We're told Luda's baby mama, Tamika Fuller, thinks Luda wants to show the judge in their custody fight that he now has a stable, loving household ... more conducive to child-rearing than the home of single mom Tamika. She fears a Georgia judge could actually buy what Luda's selling.

As we reported ... Luda abruptly proposed to GF Eudoxie during the XMAS holidays and married her the very same day. Tamika thinks it was all just a ploy.

Luda is gunning to win full custody of their 1-year-old daughter Cai. He claims he's a better parent and has the means to provide her with a better life.

Tamika thinks it's a crass ploy to avoid paying $7,000 a month in child support.

The courtroom fireworks begin later this month.

Snoop Dogg Called Out for Instagram Pic Guy Says He's Being Gay Bashed

Published | Updated

Snoop Dogg has put a big fat target on a guy who's now being gay bashed, and the guy is now preparing a lawsuit against Mr. D.

Cortez Booze tells TMZ ... 5 days ago the rapper posted a pic of him on Instagram with the caption, “Whose auntcle is this?” The pic triggered a torrent of hate ... people calling him f*****, shemale, confused, ugly, punk and a host of other slurs.

Cortez went to the folks at Instagram and reported the pic as inappropriate, but it's still up.

So now he's pulling out the gunz ... the legal variety. Cortez has hired a lawyer and plans to duke it out with the Dogg in court.

Snoop should definitely follow Shaquille O'Neal ... who was sued for something similar in July. Shaq posted a pic of a guy who has a rare genetic disorder which unleashed the hounds on social media. That suit is pending.

No word back from Snoop's people.

Bill Cosby Gloria Allred ... I Got 3 More Accusers

Published | Updated

Attorney Gloria Allred trotted out three new Bill Cosby accusers and they all told the same tale ... of allegedly being drugged and sexually assaulted.

Linda Kirkpatrick says she met Cosby in 1981 when she was 25. She claims she met Cosby playing tennis at a club in Vegas, and Cosby invited her to a party in his hotel room ... and Captain & Tennille were also there!

She claims he gave her a drink and she woke up a short time later to find Cosby on top of her, kissing her. Kirkpatrick remembers a bracelet with Camille's name on it. She claims Cosby apologized the next day ... she went to his hotel room again and he tried to hug and kiss her.

Lynn Neal claims she met Cosby in her 20s, also at a tennis club. She says the two went out to dinner and he ordered a shot of vodka for her. After that she became disoriented.

Neal claims Cosby took her pants off and began having sex with her and says Cosby talked about an orgasm being like a thermostat building up pressure.

The third accuser, Kacey, says she met Cosby while working at William Morris for Cosby's personal appearance manager. She says their professional relationship soon became personal.

Kacey claims they were at lunch in his bungalow at the Bel Air Hotel and he insisted she take a pill. She did, and claims she passed out and woke up in bed with Cosby, who was naked.

The statute of limitations has run, so the end game is unclear.

Bill Cosby Accusers Phylicia Rashad is an Embarrassment

Published | Updated

1:45 PM PT -- A third Cosby accuser, Katherine McKee, tells TMZ she is "disturbed" by Rashad's comments, but feels greed is the motivating factor. She tells us, "When they pull the shows, residuals stop. So they step up and figure out what they can say to get it back. I think it’s about money with her ... suddenly she is losing her money."

Phylicia Rashad is not only off base in her attack against Bill Cosby's accusers, she lacks morals ... this according to 2 of the alleged sexual assault victims.

Sarita Butterfield, a former Playboy Bunny who now claims Cosby put his hands all over her body, is indignant that Rashad would blindly support her former co-star, telling us, "What if something like this happened to her daughter? Shame on her and shame on Bill."

Another accuser, Angela Leslie, grouses, "I looked at her as a woman with morals, and it's sad that she's speaking like this."

Angela dismisses Rashad's conspiracy because the accusers are strangers to each other and spread out all over the country.

Attorney Gloria Allred is rolling out 3 new accusers today at a 11:30 AM PT news conf. We'll be livestreaming.

Phylicia Rashad Bill Cosby is Being Framed

Published | Updated

Bill Cosby's TV wife, Phylicia Rashad has not only broken her silence, she's come out swinging ... accusing the women who claim sexual assault of being part of a massive conspiracy.

Rashad told Showbiz 411 she loves Cosby and never witnessed him do anything untoward with women.

Rashad said, "Forget these women ... What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated. I don’t know why or who’s doing it, but it’s the legacy. And it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture."

The actress thinks someone is pulling the strings in an effort to derail the last leg of Cosby's career, saying, "Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV ... and it worked."

And she seems particularly upset that the scandal has had an impact on Cosby's landmark show: "The show represented America to the outside world. This was the American family. And now you're seeing it destroyed. Why?"

As for Cosby's two most well-known accusers, Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson, Rashad quickly dismissed them by saying, "Oh, please."

OJ Simpson Stolen Heisman Recovered Thief Still On the Loose

Published | Updated

Big recovery for USC ... cops have found the school's duplicate copy of O.J. Simpson's Heisman Trophy after it had been stolen from campus more than 20 YEARS ago!

We broke the story ... cops had recently got a warrant to search phone records of a man they believe swiped the statue from Heritage Hall back in 1994 ... and clearly, they were on to something.

The bad news -- the LAPD has not announced that a suspect is in custody ... and they're still on the hunt for a game worn O.J. Simpson jersey that was also taken in the heist.

Teresa & Joe Giudice Fire Sale for New Jersey Mansion

Published | Updated

Teresa and Joe Giudice just DRASTICALLY reduced the asking price for their New Jersey mansion, because they MUST move out stat for cheaper digs.

The convicted couple just slashed half a mil off the asking price. But the situation is more dire than it seems. They had initially listed the house for $3.99 million, but there were no takers, so in November they lowered the price by $500,000. Still no takers.

The latest cut brings the asking price to a relatively reasonable $2.99 mil. Their realtor believes that should do the trick.

Teresa and Joe are cash strapped after their conviction and they want to radically downsize.

Marlon Wayans Let Me Explain Why I Won the 'Cleveland' Suit

Published | Updated

Marlon Wayans is a legal genius, explaining to our photog why a judge tossed out a lawsuit filed by a guy who claimed Marlon did him wrong by saying he looked like Cleveland Brown from "Family Guy."

We got Marlon out the day after the judge threw out Pierre Daniel's suit, saying, "The Cleveland Brown character, like [Pierre], obviously black, heavy ... with curly 'Afro' hair were incorporated humorously into the filming of the scene."

Marlon's interpretation is different from ours ... it's pretty clear the judge felt Pierre looks like Cleveland. But Mr. Wayans doesn't exactly see it that way.

Daryl Hall Sues Over Rose Parade I Can't Go for That

Published | Updated

Daryl Hall's new lawsuit is a sound-a-like from one of his Hall and Oates hits:

You're a float whore
And you've gone too far
And it really does matter anyway
I can't rely on your God damn money
You took me for a ride and it ain't that funny

Ok, we tried. Hall claims he was lured into appearing with his band -- sans Oates -- on a float during the Rose Parade a year ago -- a float called You Make My Dreams Come True.

According to the lawsuit Rural Media Group, which broadcasts his web show "Live From Daryl's House," promised to reimburse him for all expenses connected with the appearance, which totaled more than $87K. Hall says the company stiffed him. He's also pissed that Rural Media Group is hawking a Rose Parade DVD for $29.99 with his pic plastered all over it and featuring his songs.

Our favorite part of the suit ... Hall lists his credits. Which song do you think he mentions first? It's "Rich Girl," following by "Kiss on My List," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)," "Maneater" and "Out of Touch." And there's a second wave mentioned, and in order ... "Sara Smile," "One on One," "You Make My Dreams Come True," "Say it Isn't So" and "Method of Modern Love."

Look out here he comes.

Teresa Giudice TG Says N-O to Brav-O

Published | Updated

Teresa Giudice played a form of "Let's Make a Deal" before going to prison ... and she ended up losing a huge cash prize.

Door #1: We're told Bravo was prepared to offer her a "huge deal" if she allowed them to film her final days before entering the big house. Our sources say she would have scored in excess of $50K.

Door #2: Turn down the offer because it might piss off prison officials and others who could possibly grant her an early release.

We're told Teresa chose Door #2.

Teresa says she didn't want to exploit her family's goodbyes -- which is ironic because she had no problem putting them on 6 seasons of 'Housewives' and sitting down with Andy Cohen for $$$.

Sources close to Bravo say the talks Teresa had with Bravo were "informal."

Bill Cosby Two Accusers Join Defamation Lawsuit

Published | Updated

Two women who have previously accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault have joined a third in suing the comedian for defamation ... claiming his alleged lies have ruined their reputations.

As TMZ first reported, Tamara Green sued Cosby claiming he was untruthful when he denied her sexual assault allegations. Green cannot sue for the alleged assault because the statute of limitations ran decades ago, but her lawyer thinks Cosby's denials opened the door to a defamation suit.

Now Green has company ... with Linda Traitz telling CNN she and fellow accuser Therese Serignese are joining Green's lawsuit. Both women claim Cosby drugged them when they were in their late teens.

Traitz has a long criminal past and was released from prison in 2012 after serving more than three years for trafficking Oxycodone, possession of a controlled substance and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.

OJ Simpson LAPD Gets Search Warrant To Recover Stolen Heisman

Published | Updated

The police department that was skewered by OJ Simpson's defense team during his murder trial has gone to court to solve another crime involving the famous convict ... but this one involves his 1968 Heisman Trophy.

TMZ has learned the LAPD has obtained a search warrant, allowing detectives to secure phone records of a man they believe stole the statue from Heritage Hall at USC back in 1994.

The trophy and OJ's famous #32 jersey went missing after someone dismantled the display case and made off with the goods.

The cold case became hot in November when a man called USC, saying he had purchased the trophy from a friend years ago and wanted to authenticate it. The USC folks determined the guy did indeed have the Heisman, but cops didn't believe his story ... they think he's the crook.

So LAPD detectives went to court last month and got a warrant to track the guy down and nab the items.

He can't be prosecuted ... the statute of limitations has long since run.

As for OJ ... he also had a Heisman -- they come in pairs ... one for the player and one for the school. OJ's was sold for $255,500 to partially satisfy the $33 million judgment for killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
