Justin Bieber Treasure Trove of Drugs In Mansion During Raid

Published | Updated

Justin Bieber had drugs and drug paraphernalia strewn all over his house when it was raided Tuesday ... but drugs were not on deputies' radar ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... when L.A. County Sheriff's deputies searched the house ... there were 2 large cookie jars filled with weed in plain view. There were also 4 - 5 empty codeine bottles in the mansion.

There were also 3 bongs -- 1 in the TV room and 2 in the kitchen.

There were styrofoam cups scattered throughout the house that had elaborate drawings on them ... including the names of the people who used them. The cups, we're told, were used for Sizzurp (also called lean) -- which is Justin's drug of choice. We're told he likes to draw on the cups with markers after using them.

And speaking of Sizzurp ... Sprite is usually part of the mix, but we're told Justin preferred pineapple Fanta instead. There were empty Fanta bottles that were discolored ... we're told from the codeine.

There were lots of "swisher sweets" cigars laying around the house -- Bieber's preferred way to smoke marijuana.

And speaking of weed … we're told Justin has a dedicated smoking room in the house, complete with hookah pipes. Sources say when cops showed up ... some of his friends went into the room and some of the illicit stuff went down the toilet.

As for why cops didn't seize any of these items ... law enforcement sources say they were not on the hunt for drugs -- they were primarily looking for video equipment that may have been attached to surveillance cameras. In fact, cops probably couldn't pry and open jars and such, because it would have exceeded the scope of the search warrant.

TMZ broke the story ... Justin has developed a serious drug problem and his people are pushing him to enter rehab ... something he has resisted.

But that's not the only drug Bieber is using. We're told he's been taking lots of prescription pills, including Xanax, in addition to lots of alcohol and weed.

Our sources insist he does NOT do cocaine and has never done it in his life.

Trace Adkins My Impersonator Is a Creep

Published | Updated

Trace Adkins went nuts on an impersonator during a cruise BECAUSE it was the last straw ... we're told this guy has been a thorn in the country singer's side for YEARS.

The look-alike -- Michael Larsen -- has been following Trace around the country since 2007, sometimes having the audacity to sign autographs, pretending he was the real deal.

Our sources say the tipping point was the cruise to Jamaica. We're told Trace had no idea the guy was on the ship for the first two days. The singer was blindsided and angry when he walked into a bar on the ship and saw Larsen.

Trace has told his people ... he just had it with the guy but probably could have contained himself, EXCEPT for the fact that he was wasted.

Adkins -- who had been 12 years sober -- left the ship after it docked in Jamaica ... and is now in a rehab facility.

We're reaching out to Larsen ... who's still on board the ship ... probably pretending he's Trace.

She claims she's stone cold sober ... in the middle of these boozefests.

So Oprah, looks like she took your advice, right?

Chris Brown Anger Free During Rehab Field Trip

Published | Updated

Chris Brown was all smiles during his day away from lockdown anger management rehab ... pitching in at a charity toy drive for XMAS.

Chris didn't misstep -- not even once -- during the event ... where people come with unwrapped toys for underprivileged kids.

The judge in the Rihanna beating case ordered Brown to stay put in the rehab facility for 90 days, but honchos at the joint felt mingling on Melrose would actually help him by showing how satisfying it is to participate in non-violent activities.

Chris Brown Tight Leash for Charity Trip NO FUNNY BUSINESS

Published | Updated

Chris Brown better not pull any stunts when he leaves lockdown rehab this weekend to attend a charity event ... because TMZ has learned, if he so much as steps out of line ... the rehab facility will kick him out for good.

TMZ broke the story ... CB obtained permission to attend the 3-hour celebrity toy drive on Melrose Avenue Sunday because the rehab facility -- where he's getting help for anger management -- thought the experience would be good for his treatment.

But sources tell us, the Malibu rehab facility is keeping the singer on an extremely tight leash during the excursion.

We're told Chris only has permission to attend the event from 1pm to 4pm ... as soon as it's over, he has to hightail it back to rehab. The facility is giving him just enough extra time to travel to and from West Hollywood, but that's it. ZERO free time to hang with friends before or after the event.

If he's late to rehab Sunday evening, Chris is out ... which would be real bad ... because rehab's the main reason he's not in jail right now. You'll recall, the judge in his Rihanna beating case revoked his probation, but decided not to toss him in the pokey because he was making good progress in treatment.

We're told the rehab facility will also be drug testing Chris when he gets back ... so he better not think about blazing either.

Demi Lovato How Dare 'X Factor' Joke About My Drinking Problem

Published | Updated

You can see her reaction on the show ... at one point it appears she says "That's f**ked up."

Demi's already said she's leaving the show, but now it's pretty clear ... for her it couldn't be soon enough.

We contacted reps for the show ... so far no word back.

Matthew Perry I'll NEVER Bury the Hatchet with Peter Hitchens

Published | Updated

Matthew Perry is engaged in a war with a British journalist ... a war that has no end in sight -- and it's all over how the U.K. treats drug and alcohol addicts.

Perry was at LAX yesterday when we brought up his fiery exchange with Peter Hitchens on BBC's "Newsnight" ... in which Hitchens (who believes in stronger punishments for drug users) argued that addiction is nothing more than a "fantasy."

During the show, Hitchens went off on Perry and another guest ... saying, "Well you two believe in this fantasy of addiction, a complete fantasy, in which people lose all power over themselves and become victims of this terrible, frightening disease after which they cannot stop taking drugs. If you really believe that then you would presumably think that the best thing would be they never ever come in contact with those drugs."

Perry was furious ... calling his comments "ludicrous" and explaining, “I'm a drug addict. I'm a person that, if I have a drink, I can't stop. And so it would be following your ideology that I'm choosing to do that.”

Hitchens agreed.

Now that a few days have passed and the two have had a chance to cool down, we asked Perry if there was a chance they could ever be friends.

Perry made it clear ... Hitchens shouldn't ever expect a Christmas card.

Chris Brown He'll Leave Lockdown Rehab For Toy Drive

Published | Updated

Chris Brown will spend Sunday on tragically-hip Melrose Ave. in L.A. ... curious indeed, since he's supposedly in lockdown rehab. But we've learned, the rehab joint gave him a day pass.

Chris won't be shopping in stores that sell overpriced, vintage gadgets. He's a featured celeb at the XMAS toy drive, where people come with unwrapped toys for underprivileged kids.

We're told Brown and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran will be front and center to mingle with everyone.

As for why Chris got a pass ... 2 reasons. It's a worthy event, and we're told the rehab folks actually think it will be good for Chris' treatment -- to show how satisfying it is to participate in non-violent activities.
