Officials are pushing back on Marcus Morris' claim he went "51 hours" without something to eat or drink in jail ... telling TMZ Sports there is video proof he was delivered meals and beverages while behind bars.

Morris, 35, made the accusations on his Instagram this week ... after he was released from jail in Broward County. He was arrested over the weekend for allegedly writing $260,000 in bad checks to two Las Vegas casinos in 2024.

"24-hour lockdown," Morris said while addressing his alleged treatment in the slammer. "No food or water for the whole 51 hours."

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the best record in the NBA, but Norm Nixon tells TMZ Sports he's not entirely sold they're a real threat to win the championship.

We caught up with the former "Showtime" Lakers star out at LAX this week ... and he made it clear, he's got some serious questions about Cleveland's roster.

He told us he thinks the Cavs are good -- they do, after all, own the most wins in the Eastern Conference -- but he wondered out loud how they'll handle the bright lights of April, May and June.

Cavs rookie Jaylon Tyson learned the hard way to NEVER forget the doughnuts -- 'cause the young hooper got a car full of popcorn after Cleveland's win over the Brooklyn Nets ... and he should've seen it coming after some solid foreshadowing from Donovan Mitchell.

Spida -- who sat out of Tuesday's contest as he deals with a groin injury -- documented the postgame hijinks on his Instagram ... showing the 22-year-old Cal product walking up to his whip as his teammates playfully scolded him for not providing pastries for them to enjoy.

Once Tyson opened his door, he knew just how big of a mistake he made ... discovering a bunch of popped kernels throughout his car's interior.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping to make a fan-favorite phrase their own ahead of the NBA playoffs -- the team submitted paperwork to trademark the term "Cavalanche."

According to the USPTO, the filing was made on Wednesday ... the same day the team beat the Miami Heat to became the first in the Association to punch a ticket to the playoffs this season.

The filing stated it would be used for clothing items -- most likely once the NBA postseason kicks off in a few weeks -- but no additional details were provided.

Donovan Mitchell lost his train of thought during his postgame interview on Thursday ... and it was all thanks to Darius Garland breaking out in song.

The hilarious interaction went down after the Cleveland Cavaliers secured a 110-97 road win over the Brooklyn Nets ... when Spida was trying to weigh in on Evan Mobley's impressive outing -- but Garland had other plans.

During Mitchell's response, Garland was heard in the background jamming to Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Gimme A Hug" .... and it's clear it wasn't the first time he belted out the tune.

9:10 AM PT -- TT got wind of Rajakovic's postgame comments ... and fired back with some words of his own.

"You wanna full court press with under a minute left in the game when you get cracked by 30 this will happen to you," the 2016 champ said. "Lose for draft lottery and be happy buddy boy."

"Hopefully you and most of your guys see the light at the end of [GM] Bobby [Webster] and [team president] Masai [Ujiri] long term plan. Bless up stay warm in MY CITY 😉😁."

Tristan Thompson made the most of his limited time on the court Wednesday night ... putting up four points, grabbing a rebound, dishing out an assist, and nearly fighting half the Raptors team after a last-second dunk!

The scene played out moments after the Cavaliers' 131-108 blowout win over the Raptors in Toronto. The NBA bet got some burn at the end of the game, and TT made the most of his opportunity.

With six seconds left -- the 33-year-old decided to stat pad a bit -- throwing down a dunk when the game was far out of reach. The Raptors didn't take too kindly to the jam.

A Los Angeles home belonging to NBA player Ty Jerome was burglarized last week, and cops tell TMZ Sports they're still on the hunt for the supects.

We're told the break-in happened at around 7:30 PM on Jan. 17 ... when thieves gained entry to the residence through a broken glass window.

Cops say the criminals took off a short time after getting in -- and as of now, it's unclear what -- if anything -- was taken. Jerome has been away from the area in recent days while on the road playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rudy Gobert is addressing his whopping $100k fine for making a money gesture toward officials last week ... telling TMZ Sports he simply reached his boiling point and reacted with his emotions.

Gobert made the Johnny Manziel-esque hand sign at official Scott Foster during the Minnesota Timberwolves vs Cleveland Cavs game on March 8 ... insinuating refs are influenced by sports betting.

The 3-time All-Star also called out the refs during the post-game press conference ... saying he felt gambling has really hurt the sport.

We caught up with the Minnesota Timberwolves center on Rodeo Drive just a few days after the league handed down the 6-figure penalty for his actions and postgame comments ... and although the dude has made more than $217 MILLION over the course of his career, even he had to admit that's a huge hit financially.

"How I feel about the fine? I mean it's a fine. It's a lot of money," Gobert said ... before explaining his actions.

"We human beings at the end of the day. We not always right but everyone's allowed to speak their mind. Also, it's a game with a lot of emotions so sometimes we react off of frustration."

Gobert -- who is averaging 13.7 points and 12.9 rebounds per game this season -- got the maximum fine that a player can get for conduct or statements detrimental to the team or league ... but Charles Barkley believes he should've been suspended for it.

"It will ruin a sport if people thought it was fixed," the ex-NBA star said on "NBA on TNT."

Chestnut -- who's by far the most famous figure in professional eating -- completely wrecked the field ... finishing 39 dumplings in two minutes, while everyone else combined for 23.

Joey looked pretty stuffed after the final buzzer -- his eyes got super wide as he was handed a championship belt.

It's not the first time Chestnut has taken on a trio of Cavs fans -- he previously crushed 47 back in 2022.

Joey was eating fast, but the Kelces were drinking just as quickly ... 'cause Jason and Travis gulped on some beers in the blink of an eye while at the big game.
