Published | Updated

Amanda Bynes was arrested in her NYC apartment Thursday night for marijuana possession and throwing evidence out the window ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources ... a building official called police after spotting Amanda in the lobby with a joint, acting erratically and talking to herself. We're told when cops arrived they knocked at her door and she let them in.

Our sources say when police saw the bong Amanda quickly tossed it out the window ... which fortunately didn't hit anyone on the street below.

Amanda, who was wearing a platinum blonde wig, was placed under arrest and went ballistic, yelling, "Don't you know who I am?"

She was booked for criminal possession of pot, as well as reckless endangerment and FELONY tampering with evidence.

Our law enforcement sources say Amanda was briefly taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation and then taken to the station for booking.

But the cop shop wasn't the last stop. A cuffed Amanda was then taken to night court just before midnight. She's still there in a holding cell, waiting for a judge. She should get a hearing sometime this AM.

Amanda's behavior has become increasingly bizarre over the past year -- with numerous arrests, a complete physical transformation and crazy tweets.

Chief Keef NERDIEST 911 Call Ever 'They Were Rolling Marijuana'

Published | Updated

This. Is. HILARIOUS ... the squarest hotel security guy ever called 911 on Chief Keef yesterday to report that the rapper and some of his black friends were "rolling marijuana" inside their hotel room, and TMZ has the audio.

The call was made from a concerned security guard at the Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter Hotel in Georgia who happened to stumble upon a bunch of nice hotel guests who happened to be partaking in some dope smoking.

During the call, the security guy alerts the 911 operator to "a bunch of gentlemen rolling marijuana and smoking ... all in the room ... the room's filled with smoke."

The security guard seems astonished ... because, "I announced myself as 'security' and they let me in the room AS IF IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER!"

The guy also warns 911 to send cops to the scene ASAP because he feared "those guys may just bolt."

He clearly doesn't understand stoners ... they're not really known for "bolting" anywhere.

Eventually, cops arrived to the room and arrested 17-year-old Chief Keef for the weed ... all thanks to the heroic actions of one really square hotel security guard.

One last thing ... did he really need to call 911? Or couldn't he just have asked the guy to stop smoking? Hmmmmm.

Barbara Walters' Daughter Drunk and Abusive During DUI Arrest

Barbara Walters' daughter was so out of control during her DUI arrest, she had to be "taken to the ground" so she wouldn't run into traffic ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.

We broke the story ... 44-year-old Jacqueline Walters Danforth -- who famously discussed her troubled teenage years on various TV specials with her mom -- was arrested for DUI in Naples, FL on May 19.

According to the report, Jacqueline was in the driver's seat of a Honda Pilot which was stopped by police around 1:24 AM ... after cops received reports about an SUV stopped on the highway without its lights on.

During the encounter, cops say both Jackie and a male passenger -- described as her BF -- appeared to be extremely intoxicated.

Cops say ... they went to place the man in handcuffs -- which pissed Jackie off ... so she grabbed at one of the officers and "began shouting."

The arresting officer states in the report, "I was afraid that the suspect may run into traffic on the highway, so she was taken to the ground due to her unpredictable behavior, then secured in handcuffs."

According to the report, Jacqueline eventually took a breathalyzer test and blew a .218 -- more than TWICE the legal limit.

She was eventually arrested for DUI ... and was released several hours later on $1,000 bond.

Lindsay Lohan Sued Her Druggie Reputation Cost Us $5 Million

Published | Updated

Lindsay Lohan has just been sued for $5 million she doesn't have ... all because of her highly-publicized drug problems, TMZ has learned.

D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries -- a clothing manufacturer -- just filed the countersuit against Lindsay in response to Lindsay's lawsuit against the company.

In her lawsuit, Lindsay says she struck a business deal with D.N.A.M. in 2009 allowing them to manufacture clothes for her "6126" clothing line -- but D.N.A.M. stiffed her on a massive licensing fee. Lindsay wants $1.1 million in damages.

But D.N.A.M. is now coming back at Lindsay for nearly five times that amount, insisting SHE'S the reason their business deal fell apart.

According to D.N.A.M., the company did its darndest to sell their 6126 clothes to high-end third party retailers -- but by spring 2010, no one would touch the brand ... because Lindsay was back in rehab ... and her legal problems were playing out in the media "like a Greek tragedy."

D.N.A.M. claims Lindsay's "drug-addled image" destroyed 6126's reputation, and rendered the clothing line completely unsellable.

D.N.A.M. says it invested millions in 6126 for nothing -- and now it's suing for breach of contract and fraud, demanding at least $5 million in damages.

And the irony ... Lindsay's currently back in rehab yet again.

Lindsay's attorney, Perry C. Wander, tells TMZ ... "The license agreement does not have a morals clause that allows the company to suspend payment for any behavior. The contract is not in LL's name thus she cannot be held personally liable. The cross claim is therefore frivolous and totally without merit and will be defended vigorously."

FYI -- Jacqueline was adopted as an infant by Walters and then-husband Lee Guber in 1968 -- before divorcing in 1976.

As for the DUI arrest, the Collier County Sheriff's Office website says she's been released from custody on $1,000 bond.

Charlie Sheen Brooke Wants Cash for Kids ... That's It

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen's legal team is headed for court this morning ... and he wants to expose what he believes is a crass ploy by ex-wife Brooke Mueller to make her brother the guardian of their kids so she can still get her hands on Charlie's gigantic child support checks.

As we previously reported ... Brooke is gunning to wrestle temporary custody away from Denise Richards, who has been caring for 4-year-old Bob and Max while Brooke tries to get it together at The Betty Ford Center. Brooke wants her brother to get temporary custody until she's sober again.

Charlie believes the almighty dollar is at the root of Brooke's ploy. He claims Brooke will still have access to Charlie's $55,000 monthly child support check if her bro gets the kids, and that's why she wants Denise out of the picture.

What's more ... sources connected to the case tell TMZ ... Denise has written proof -- in the form of text messages -- in which Brooke makes it clear -- she wants and needs those monthly checks.

Sources say Brooke -- through her lawyer -- will counter that Denise is the one who is in it for the money, although our sources say Denise has not asked Charlie for a dime for taking Bob and Max.

We're told Charlie wants Denise to keep the twins until Brooke is sober and able to prove she'll stay that way. Charlie realizes that could mean Denise could have the kids for a year ... and maybe longer. Charlie will tell the judge he would gladly pay Denise support money for her efforts.

Brooke Mueller I'm Connected To the Mafia

Published | Updated

Brooke Mueller was allegedly out of her head -- apparently under the influence and rambling about her "mafia connections" -- when she was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold earlier this month ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... on May 1st, a man who was at Brooke's L.A. home called 911 to report she had assaulted him. When cops arrived, we're told Brooke was rambling about what she claimed were connections to the mafia. Sources say she told cops she had been in constant contact with the FBI for months about Charlie Sheen, saying she was giving them a ton of info that would "bring him down."

Our sources say cops believed Brooke was under the influence and looked as if she hadn't slept for several days. The 4-year-old twins were in the house at the time.

Police then called the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services, which had an open case with Brooke. There was alarm by officials from both departments and we're told steps were immediately taken to 5150 Brooke -- place her on a 3-day psychiatric hold. She was then taken to the UCLA Medical Center -- the same place Britney Spears went when she was 5150'd.

As for the drug that triggered the 5150 ... sources tell us it was Adderall -- the same drug Lindsay Lohan feels she can't do without.

Brooke's people told us ... no comment.

Orlando Brown Another Day Another Bench Warrant

Published | Updated

What's worse -- getting a bench warrant issued for your arrest or having to take a moment to figure out which DUI arrest case the warrant is for?

Case in point ... TMZ has learned "That's So Raven" star Orlando Brown was on the receiving end of another bench warrant last week. Ironically enough, the warrant has nothing to do with Brown's arrest for DUI last month.

Instead, the bench warrant was issued on Wednesday because Brown failed to show for a court date stemming from a 2011 DUI ... in which he was supposed to show he had completed an alcohol program and attended AA meetings as part of his probation for that case.

In the past year, Brown had not one, not two, BUT THREE bench warrants issued against him stemming from the 2011 case.

Calls to Brown's rep were not returned.
