Lindsay Lohan Arrest Warrant: Paparazzi Defense
We know exactly why Lindsay Lohan is being hauled into court Monday and it's no big deal -- probably.
Here's why an arrest warrant was issued. Lindsay was in an alcohol ed program for more than a year and was in full compliance with her probation. Sources say not too long ago she decided to switch programs. She either was late or missed one of the classes at the new program -- she says because the paparazzi made it impossible for her to show up on schedule. So the program director sounded the alarm last week to the court. And that's why the judge issued a warrant.
Based on what we know this is not a big deal and Lindsay's new lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, should be able to have the warrant 86'd -- no problemo. The only wild card: There's a new judge on the case and she's really tough.
We're told Lindsay will not show for the appearance unless the judge decides she wants her there.
Stay tuned.

Lindsay Lohan Wanted by Cops
A warrant was issued yesterday for the arrest of one Lindsay Lohan.
The Beverly Hills PD says the warrant is for $50,000 and it was issued in connection with her DUI case back in 2007, for which she is on probation. The PD would not specifically say why they want Lohan, but we think it's a good bet it has something to do with violating the terms of probation ... either failing to attend her alcohol ed courses or, perhaps, not taking or failing a drug test.
The PD ominously says, "It is our hope that Ms. Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter can be resolved in a timely manner."
We asked Lindsay about the warrant last night as she left the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
Lindsay is not armed but considered dangerous.
The story was first reported by Hollyscoop.com.
UPDATE 3:00 PM ET: We're told the Judge in the DUI case has set a hearing for Monday Morning. We understand the topic is whether Lindsay violated her probation. She may be required to appear. Stay tuned.
UPDATE 12:09 PM ET: Lohan just issued a statement to PerezHilton.com: "This warrant for my arrest is completely fabricated and its (sic) a horrendous lie. This will make me loose (sic) every single deal that I have right now. Its (sic) horrible."

Billy Zane Cruiser Extraordinaire
You are about to learn something Billy Zane. In an unrelated matter, you are also about to learn about riding a bicycle while intoxicated.
We shot video of B.Z. leaving Villa last night in West Hollywood on his tricked-out bike -- little horn and all. Billy looks totally sober, but it got us thinking ... could a celeb, or you for that matter, dodge a DUI by jumping on a Schwinn rather than hopping in a BMW? The answer: Nope.
We checked with two police departments. In California, at least, there's actually a crime -- Driving Under the Influence on a Bicycle. It's a misdemeanor, cops can demand you take a field sobriety or blood alcohol test, and you can be arrested and jailed.
Still, it's a lot safer than driving a motor home ... wasted.

Hasselhoff -- Someone to Baywatch Over Pam
Oh the irony! David Hasselhoff came to the rescue of Pamela Bach by bailing her out of jail after she was popped for DUI.
In case you forgot, David and Pamela were in one of the most hateful divorces in all of celebredom. Now, with Pam in the pokey after causing a chain rear-end collision, David decided that he had to do something for the mother of his children.
So David contacted a bail bondsman. The bail, which was $100,000, was met and Pam was free as a bird.
Dominic Friesen of Bridge & Tunnel Communications tells TMZ, "Pamela is doing fine and home resting. She is thankful that nobody was injured as a result of the accident and is appreciative of the overwhelming support that she has been receiving."
The Hoff's Ex -- DUI Could be Career Rear Ender
David Hasselhoff's 20 degrees off-center ex-wife, Pamela Bach, was popped for felony DUI last night.
It happened at 9:00 PM in the San Fernando Valley. Cops say Pamela caused a chain rear end collision. Everyone involved complained of minor injuries.
Cops hauled her away to the pokey. She was booked for a felony because people in the crash were injured.
As you surely know, Pam and The Hoff have been involved in an epic and never-ending divorce and custody battle, with each calling the other out of their mind. Score one more for David.
"School of Rock" Kid Guilty in Taco Bell DUI Caper
Joey Gaydos Jr. -- the guitar prodigy from "School of Rock" -- has pled guilty to a misdemeanor impaired driving charge and could actually do some time in the pokey for his crime. WWJBD?
Cops busted Gaydos as he was leaving a Taco Bell at 2:40 AM -- which as far as we know is conclusive proof someone is wasted.
The 17-year-old actor faces up to 93 days in jail. He'll be sentenced in April.

The Los Angeles City Attorney has filed two DUI charges -- driving under the influence and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher.
After his arrest, Rock told TMZ he had been pounding Patron and then flooring it on the 101 Freeway.
Rock, also a comedian in his own right, made the stupid mistake of mocking his arrest and saying he would skip the alcohol ed course. Wrong, if he's convicted. He could also be sentenced to six months in the pokey.

Barkley's Only Jail Complaint? The Food!
Judging by his size, one might think Charles Barkley would eat anything -- and everything -- put in front of him. Not true.
We're told Chuck had a serious problem with the food he was served during his short stint in an Arizona jail. Charles was given sloppy joes, potatoes, pear chunks, zucchini, a bread roll and a slice of margarine.
His reaction: "Man ... this stuff tastes like sh*t."
Chuck's special tent, separate from the other inmates, did not come with access to the vending machines with junk food and candy. So his lawyers were allowed to bring him some junk food and candy from the outside.
You can lock up the man ... but not his sweet tooth.

But the good stuff came after the newser, when inmate P519798 played politician -- shaking hands and even posing for pictures! All within the confines of jail. Oh, and apparently he's aware that TMZ broke the story of his DUI arrest.
