As co-creator of "The Simpsons," Sam Simon amassed an epic collection of memorabilia ... which you can own, if you got the cash.

Simon's estate teamed up with Sotheby's for "The Creative Genius of Sam Simon: A Lifetime of Memorabilia," to auction off serious 'Simpsons' swag, and stuff from his other sitcoms he wrote and produced.

Sotheby's tells us the most sought after items include one of Simon's drawings of Bart, expected to go for $1,500 ... and an animation cell from an episode, estimated to fetch $2,000.

The crown jewel might be concept drawings of 'Simpsons' characters from the early planning stages of the show. Sotheby's thinks that will pull at least $5k.

Ok, so there's no statewide manhunt for the perp or anything like that ... but people in Philly were FUMING after some G-Men fan trolled the city before tonight's Eagles vs. Giants game.

We spoke to the Philadelphia Police Dept. about the situation and the public affairs office told us, "We are aware. There's no video, no surveillance, where we could actively search for who did this."

On whether it was a crime, we were told -- "I'm not sure it's a crime. It's a crime against humanity!"

"As far as us actively investigating, no one has reported it. We're not treating it like a crime. If they wrote on it, spray painted it, that'd be a different story."

“Storage Wars: Miami” star Kevin Pew tackled and wrestled a gun out of his son’s hands after he allegedly shot and killed a family friend … this according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

The story of the shooting surfaced last week, but we've now learned the TV show was the backdrop for the violence.

Pew, his son and others were at a viewing party in Pembroke Pines, FL for the 'Storage Wars' spin-off.

Cops say the Pews and family friend Janel Hamilton were watching when Hamilton left the room to grab a blanket. They heard a gunshot, ran into the room and saw Hamilton on the floor. Kevin’s son, Hashim, allegedly walked over, fired a second shot at her and said, “She’s dead as f***, dawg.”

According to the police report, Kevin tackled his son to the ground, wrestled a .9mm out of his hands and restrained him until cops arrived and took the 23-year-old into custody.

The son has been charged with first degree murder.

Former NBA star Joe Smith is paying lyrical tribute to his fallen friend Lamar Odom ... recording an emotional song for his former Lakers teammate called "If I Die Tonight."

Odom continues to fight for his life after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel Tuesday ... and, although he's shown some signs of improvement recently, a long road remains.

Smith played with Odom on the Lakers in 2010-11 and tells TMZ Sports he recorded the track hoping it would lift the spirits of everyone who cares and loves Lamar.

"I want [the song] to give the people some faith and motivation... empower them. Give them hope that Lamar's going to be okay."

Although the song seems to be asking the question of what the world would do if Odom were to pass away, Smith says reaction has been positive ... even moving some to tears.

Lamar Odom was able to breathe on his own, with the help of a mask rather than a ventilator ... TMZ has learned.

Our sources say doctors are trying to get Lamar functioning on his own, so a few minutes before this story was posted, they took him off the ventilator and put a breathing mask on Odom.

We're told doctors are putting him back on the ventilator and used the mask as a test, and they plan on going back and forth to see if Lamar would be able to breath without heavy life support.

It's another hopeful sign. As we reported, tests Friday morning revealed Lamar's heart has shown some improvement. That said, our sources were quick to add Lamar is not out of the woods by any means, and it's unclear if he'll be able to sustain breathing on his own.

Here's boxing champ Adrien Broner taking a break from spending money on cars and jewelry to donate it to a group that really needs it ... strippers.

Adrien -- who just won the WBA light welterweight title on October 3rd -- is obviously still in celebration mode 'cause he and his manager invaded Stadium strip club in D.C. and spent over $40k!!!

If the name Stadium rings a bell it's probably because it's the same place where Drake famously spilled a bunch of cash while darting into an altercation involving one of his boys last year.

We're told Broner dropped his cash squarely on the ladies ... so much so that at one point he ran out of dollar bills and began to make it rain HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS.

Lamar Odom had hooked up with a personal trainer and was busting his ass in the hopes of making a triumphant return to the NBA ... so says Odom's trainer Fareed Samad.

Samad says he was introduced to Odom through his friend, pro boxer Zab Judah -- and they had been training together in Vegas since June.

"He was down 35 pounds," Samad says ... "We talked to the Knicks about him going back to the NBA."

Kobe Bryant left a Lakers pre-season game in Las Vegas early ... and rushed to the bedside of his former teammate Lamar Odom Tuesday night -- where he prayed with members of the Kardashian family.

Bryant and the Lakers happened to be in Vegas to play the Sacramento Kings -- but when Kobe got word about his friend, he left the MGM Garden Arena and beelined it for the hospital.

Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak was also at the hospital with Kobe.

As we previously reported, Khloe, Kim and Kris Jenner had also rushed to the hospital to be with Lamar -- and when Kobe arrived, they all prayed together.

We're told as of this morning, Odom's condition is essentially the same ... he's in a coma and his heart is failing, but he's still alive.

Simon Cowell celebrated his 56th birthday with Ryan Seacrest, his GF ... and a 'Real Housewife.'

We're told Cowell's baby mama Lauren Silverman set up everything for the celebration dinner at Sur Lounge in West Hollywood ... where celeb guests included Ryan, designer Rachel Roy, and Lisa Vanderpump. Makes sense, since it's her restaurant -- plus, we're told LV and Silverman are longtime pals.

Seacrest surprised Cowell with a mini Maybach. The ex "American Idol" co-stars have a running joke about Cowell's 5'9" height ... which is funny, coming from Seacrest.

Based on Simon's reaction, size doesn't matter to him. Not on his birthday at least.

Gordon Ramsay had the guts to enter the grueling Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, but he ended up losing those guts ... on the side of a road.

Chef Ramsay had to drop out of the legendary race, but not before completing the 2.4 mile ocean swim. He moved on to the 122 mile bike ride, and that's when he started blowing chunks.

He tried to persevere through the final marathon leg, but went down with dehydration ... which prevented him from finishing. Medics had to come to his aid.

Ramsay's finished the race before ... in 2013 and it took him 14 hours. He says he'll be back next year.

Randy Quaid can't seem to get things right north of the border ... he was just detained in Canada and it could lead to his deportation.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Quaid was picked up in Montreal where he and his wife Evi live. It appears Evi was involved in the incident as well, she tweeted, "i love that Canada needs to learn how to wake up and criticize its crappy government ... ps we got arrested by an actual tall midget."

It's unclear why Quaid was detained but an immigration official tells TMZ he will have a detention review hearing on Thursday.

A law enforcement source in Santa Barbara -- where Quaid has several warrants out for his arrest -- tells TMZ they'll pick him up once he's brought back to the US.

Shannon Briggs is taking some time off from terrorizing Wladimir Klitschko ... to create a new video game he says will feature one of the most famous voices in hip-hop ... DJ Khaled!!!

TMZ Sports spoke with Shannon (always fun) who told us he was banging around in a south Florida gym with Khaled recently when he spit an idea at him ... to play the part of announcer in his new game "Let's Go Champ Boxing."

Briggs says the world famous DJ jumped at the opportunity -- and the two men are hashing out the details as we speak ... as well as working in the gym to give Khaled that championship body.

No word on when the game will be out ... but Shannon says he's got four more video games ... and get this ... a grill of his own in the works.

So, maybe he'll forget about you Wlad ... wait, not a chance.

Pete Rose is betting on himself again ... opening the Pete Rose Bar & Grill in Las Vegas -- where you can definitely watch sports ... but can't bet on them.

Charlie Hustle says the Pete Rose Bar & Grill will open on Las Vegas Blvd. in mid-October ... and says the place will be chock full of TVs so sports fans can booze and eat and watch ANY sporting event they want.

As for the menu ... Rose says it's essentially a love letter to the cities where he played with items like:

-- Cincinnati Chili on Spaghetti for the Cincinnati Reds
-- A classic Philly Cheese Steak for the Philadelphia Phillies
-- And a spin on Poutine for the Montreal Expos, topped with brown gravy and cheese curds.

As for gambling, we're told there will be NONE -- not even those video poker machines at the bar -- because Rose says he really wants to focus on the food and the atmosphere.

Here's how Keira Knightley's Broadway debut went -- the curtain came up, and then the cops came down on a fan who lost it ... screaming at her and throwing stuff onto the stage.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops detained the man outside Studio 54, where Keira is starring in "Therese Raquin." The man was seated in the mezzanine of the theater and just a few minutes into the play, he started shouting at Keira.

He demanded she reply to him, yelling ... "Five seconds is too long to wait for a response!" When ushers ran to remove him, the man threw a bouquet of flowers down onto the stage.

Knightley and her co-stars ignored his shouts, and even kicked the flowers off the stage.

A sports bar near the UCF campus called The Basement Orlando is offering free brews during UCF's game this weekend against Tulane. The team is currently 0-4, and the bar's marketing honcho Jake Whitcare says they thought this would boost fan morale.

Whitcare tells us, they'll be serving up domestic kegs totally gratis until the UCF Knights win a game. He says they're in this for the long haul -- as in 0-12, if it comes to that.

Here's the thing ... we have no doubt the giveaway will boost morale TO DRINK! We're just not sure how it encourages fans to cheer for a win.

Stephanie Pratt had a medical emergency on Thursday -- a spider bite that was so bad, she couldn't feel part of her face ... and not in that fun Weeknd kinda way.

The former 'Hills' star tells us she woke up in London -- where she now lives -- with a nasty bite under her eye, and her face was so swollen it looked like she had a tumor. She immediately went to a hospital to get antibiotics for the swelling, and to drain the puss.

She says doctors determined it was a spider bite, and they believe it could have been a black widow. Stephanie says she was temporarily blinded in her left eye, and lost feeling in her face.
