Gene Simmons spent Father's Day with Simon Cowell and Britney Spears ... but not by choice -- he joined his daughter at the last minute as she tried out for "X-Factor."

Sources close to "X-Factor" tell TMZ ... Sophie Simmons showed up at the San Francisco auditions today ... saying she wanted a "fair shot" and telling the judges, "This isn't about my dad. This is about my audition."

Of course ... her famous father was in attendance, but we're told he almost didn't make it. Sources say the KISS front man got a surprise call from his 19-year-old daughter the night before ... saying she couldn't come home for Father's Day because she was trying her hand at the talent competition.

We're told Gene decided to hop on a private jet and made it just in time to see his daughter belt out some tunes.

Goldie Hawn is the kind of mom every kid wants -- aside from introducing your hot mom to your friends, she gives her kids houses.

We were digging through some official records and found last month ... Goldie gifted one of her houses to her son, actor Oliver Hudson.

We're told Goldie bought the house in October, 2009, and put both her name and Oliver's on the deed. The house was purchased for $2.09 million. BTW, it's not exactly a starter home -- it's a really cool spread in Brentwood, CA ... 4,000 square feet, 4 bedrooms, etc.

Then on May 21, documents show Goldie filed a "Gift Deed" with the county, giving her son full title. The document specifically says Goldie got no money in return.

Oliver's a successful actor ... he's currently on "Rules of Engagement." But it's nice to have a mom who cares.

Lamar Odom the basketball player and Lamar Odom the reality star are two completely separate people and he likes to keep it that way ... but maybe he should think about merging the two.

Our photog spotted the former Los Angeles Laker out in L.A. yesterday and asked him if Kris Jenner (mega-manager that she is) is handling his basketball career. Lamar explained, "Those are two separate entities -- the basketball player and the guy that's on reality TV ... She handles the reality star."

An interesting statement from L.O. because when he and Khloe pulled the plug on their reality show ... he claimed he was going to focus on his basketball career. Not a good move on Lamar's part to say he's still in the reality TV world ... if he's serious about having a team take him seriously.

Drake's dad says the hip-hop star was destined to be a mega talent even BEFORE he was born ... for one very specific reason.

TMZ caught up with Dennis Graham -- who was once a drummer for the legendary Jerry Lee Lewis -- outside Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills last night, after he broke bread with his famous son.

We also spoke to Drake himself ... who confirmed an upcoming project with his musical dad.

Octomom Nadya Suleman -- who is pulling in $2,000 month in food stamps thanks to California taxpayers -- spent $520 on a Brazilian blowout, and 2 cuts ... TMZ has learned.

Octo's hairstylist Stephanie tells us ... she went to Octo's house on April 18 to cut her hair and do a Brazilian blowout -- a chemical straightening treatment. Octo owed Stephanie for an earlier haircut, and the grand total came to $520. Octo also paid Stephanie $80 for hair products. Mind you -- Octo wrote the check at a time when she was in dire need of welfare.

Stephanie -- who went to cops yesterday and filed a report claiming the 14 kids were living in squalor -- tells us she couldn't believe Octo was spending this kind of loot on haircuts when her plumbing didn't work.

Stephanie says a plumber had been to the house recently and told Octo it would cost $150 to fix the pipes, but Octo declined, saying it was too expensive. As a result, the kids have to use portable training toilets in the backyard.

By the way, Stephanie also says while she was cutting Octo's hair, the mother of 14 locked her kids in the bedroom. Take a look at the pic -- notice the chair she used to keep the door shut.

9:00 AM PT: Octomom just walked one of her kids to a school bus -- we asked about the giant haircut check, but she had no response. PS -- nice Elmo slippers.

TMZ has obtained pictures of Octomom Nadya Suleman's home that have triggered a police and child services investigation into allegations that her 14 kids are living in horrendous conditions and are being grossly neglected.

TMZ broke the story, Octo's hairstylist, Stephanie, went to La Habra cops Tuesday afternoon and filed a formal complaint. A La Habra cop and 3 reps from the Orange County Department of Children and Family Services went to Octo's house Tuesday night to investigate.

One picture shows two children pooping in a portable training toilet in the backyard. We're told the plumbing in the house is shot, and only one toilet is operational.

Another photo shows Octo just after she got her hair done. What's shocking is that she locked her kids in the bedroom by propping a chair against the door so they couldn't get out.

Yet another pic shows the children's bedroom, with 2 cribs and a mattress. Stephanie told cops some of the kids are forced to sleep on the floor.

And there's more ... a pic shows some of the kids in the backyard, barefoot, dirty and wearing no pants.

Stephanie tells TMZ, "The kids are in desperate need of help, and I tried to help and she's not open to anyone helping her." She says the boys are wearing girl's clothes, they are neglected and Nadya is just incapable of caring for them.

The La Habra Police Department and the Orange County Dept. of Family and Children's Services showed up at the home of Octomom Nadya Suleman Tuesday night, after receiving a complaint from her hairstylist that the mother of 14 allows her kids to live in horrendous conditions.

Octomom's hairstylist went to the PD today and she tells us ... she told cops she has been in the house and seen the following:

-- the plumbing is a disaster ... there is only one working toilet in the house
-- some of the kids are pooping on portable training toilets located in their bedrooms and in the backyard
-- the kids appear malnourished and unbathed
-- she observed Octomom locking her kids in a bedroom while she tended to personal matters
-- the house is filthy

The stylist made other allegations as well.

When the cop and 3 Children's Services workers arrived and walked inside, you can hear Octo say, "Excuse the graffiti."

The authorities stayed an hour-and-a-half and left. We're told they determined the kids were not in danger so they weren't removed from the home, but there will be a follow-up with Children's Services.

Bobbi Kristina's older brother Landon Brown doesn't sound very supportive of her new relationship with Nick Gordon -- in fact, he sounded like he'd like to have a nice man-to-man chat with Mr. Gordon.

Our photog spotted Brown at JFK yesterday, where he said he wasn't worried in the slightest about his dad's recent arrest for DUI.

But when we asked him about Bobbi and Nick, he sounded more like a concerned older brother, telling us, "You should worry about me and Nick ... My little sister is still a child."

Nicki Minaj's father is completely torn up over the rapper's recent comments -- that she wanted to "kill" him when she was a child -- and now, he wants the world to know he's not some violent monster.

In case you missed her recent "Nightline" interview, Nicki went OFF on her dad Omar -- describing the guy as a drug addict and alcoholic who often threatened to kill her mother ... once even burning down their house.

Nicki said, "I wanted to kill [my dad]. I used to wish he was dead ... 'We were afraid for my mother's life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst he would threaten to kill her."

But family sources tell TMZ, Nicki's anecdotes are grossly exaggerated -- Omar admits he had anger issues when she was a child ... but insists it NEVER reached the point Nicki described in her interview.

Sources tell us, Omar never knew Nicki felt this way about him -- and he's absolutely crushed she decided to air her grievances in the media.

Future NFL Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp has filed for bankruptcy ... claiming he's racked up millions of dollars in debts ... but worst of all, dude claims he LOST his 2002 Super Bowl ring.

Sapp -- who played in the NFL for 12 years -- just filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Florida ... and in the papers he gives a full rundown of his dire financial situation.

According to the docs, Sapp owes more than $6.7 million to various creditors ... including hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support payments and alimony to at least 4 different baby mamas.

Among the debts, Sapp says he owes $853k to the IRS for 2006 and another $89k for 2010. Sapp says he also owes $2,858 in medical bills for "Corrective Speech and Language Therapy."

Sapp says he only has $6.45 million to his name ... and lists all of his assets in the documents ... which include:

-- 240 pairs of Jordan sneakers and sandals
-- Large Nude women painting
-- Lion skin rug (female - lioness)
-- Nike golf clubs
-- De Grisogono watch (scratch on crystal, nicks and scratches on band)
-- A boxing glove signed by Muhammad Ali

But most interestingly, Sapp notes he has LOST two of his most treasured and valuable possessions -- the 2002 Super Bowl ring he won with the Tampa Bay Bucs (example below) and the National Championship ring he won with the Miami Hurricanes.

In the docs, Sapp also lists his current salary as an analyst for the NFL Network as $45k per month ... $540k per year. Sapp says his deal with the NFL Network expires in August and he's not sure if the network will extend his deal.

Octomom is so desperate for money, she did what she swore she would never do -- pose nude for cash.

Nadya Suleman is days away from being homeless ... the house she owns that has been in and out of foreclosure for more than a year will be sold at an auction Thursday ... so Octo needs a new crib for her brood ... stat.

The dilemma -- getting first and last month's rent together, so Octo has gone naked. She posed for the European magazine, "Closer."

Sources tell TMZ ... Octo got $10,000 for the shoot, which is what she needs to rent a new place.

Octo is being very up front now about some misgivings about having 14 kids, saying, "I'm doing that (posing nude) because I need to feed my kids. I need to pay the bills. And I'm still very cognizant of the repercussions of my choices."

It's not the first time Octo has been offered cash for skin ... porn giant Vivid Entertainment offered Suleman a $1,000,000 contract back in 2009 ... which she rejected.

Jeremy Renner suffered a devastating loss last weekend, after his 8-month-old puppy Franklin dropped dead on a baseball field.

Jeremy's friend and business partner Kristoffer Winters was dogsitting the French bulldog last Saturday in Orange County -- and decided to take it to his nephew's little league baseball game.

We're told the dog was running around the field having fun on a very hot day -- near 80 degrees. Then, at around 2 PM, the pup began to vomit and convulse. Kris -- who had left to get a snack -- returned to find Jeremy's dog dead in a woman's arms.

We're told 3 people tried to give the dog mouth-to-mouth to revive the pooch -- to no avail.

French bulldogs notoriously suffer from heart problems, which could be exacerbated by heat.

Talk about ingratitude. Harvey made a passionate case for Uggie -- the dog that stole the show in "The Artist" -- to walk the red carpet at the Oscars. In case you didn't know, he's been snubbed by the Academy.

Warren Sapp denies half of the allegations levied against him by his ex-wife -- saying he's not behind on child support, but maybe a little on the alimony ... sources close to Sapp tell TMZ.

As TMZ first reported, Sapp's ex-wife filed documents in Florida saying the former NFL star owed her $728,100 in back child support and alimony.

But sources close to Sapp tell TMZ he's current on his child support and that to Warren, his kids "always come first."

However, like we've seen with so many retired sports stars, we're told Sapp feels his alimony is too high since his playing days are over and the paychecks he gets as an analyst just don't stack up.

Jack Osbourne's adorable bulldog Lola -- who famously tore up couches and peed all over the place on the family's MTV reality show -- has died at the age of 12.

Lola wasn't just a reality star ... she was a Twitter sensation as well, racking up more than 8,800 followers.

Jack broke the news a few hours ago ... tweeting, "Thank you all for the kind words about @PrincessLolaO it's nice to know she was loved by so many people."

He added, "Lola you were the best friend anyone could ever have. I will love you and miss you always. RIP @PrincessLolaO 00-12."

After hearing the good news about Halle's stalker being re-captured by authorities, the gang hit up Nobu Saturday night.
