Aaron Carter Everyone Got Screwed ... Except the Pooch

Published | Updated

Good news for Aaron Carter ... he doesn't owe anyone money anymore, because his long list of creditors just got royally screwed.

Carter has been relieved of his massive debts by a bankruptcy judge. Just how massive you ask? He owed more than $2 million, and was worth a meager $8K. Even his dog was worthless, valued at zero.

And speaking of zero ... that's exactly what his creditors are going to get -- even his long lost Uncle Sam got the shaft. Aaron's $1.3 million tax debt was also excused.

On the bright side -- Aaron completed a credit counseling class and a course in personal finance management.

So maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks ... unless he's worthless.

Published | Updated

Donald Sterling has filed a lawsuit against the NBA for more than $1 BILLION, claiming he was unconstitutionally bullied out of the league.

Sterling filed a federal lawsuit Friday afternoon ... claiming the NBA booted him from the league based on what he called an illegal recording that was widely publicized ... painting him as a racist.

As you know ... TMZ obtained the recording and posted it on the website.

Sterling also claims the $2.5 million fine was baseless and a violation of antitrust laws.

Shelly Sterling sold the team late Thursday to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion. The deal will almost certainly be ratified by the NBA.

Liberty Ross I Got Guilt Money In My Divorce

Published | Updated

Liberty Ross now has her own chapter in the Silver Linings Playbook -- CHEATING can pay handsomely.

Liberty's divorce from director Rupert Sanders is now settled ... TMZ has learned. We're told Rupert has given Liberty more than half of the marital assets or, as one source said, "He paid her guilt money."

As you know ... Rupert famously cheated on Liberty by banging Kristen Stewart during the filming of "Snow White and the Huntsman" ... which he directed. Liberty played Kristen's mom.

We found legal docs filed May 22 in which Rupert gave Liberty his interest in their $2 million Hollywood Hills home. The other assets were divided up, and we're told she made out very well.

And here's Liberty's ultimate f-you to Rupert. Not only did she get more than half ... she's dating music mogul Jimmy Iovine, who according to Forbes is worth just a hair under 1 BILLION.

Kristen Stewart, Rupert. Really?

L.A. Clippers SOLD!!!

Published | Updated

Shelly Sterling has sold the L.A. Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a whopping $2 billion.

As TMZ Sports reported ... the deal was signed just before midnight Thursday. The NBA must approve the sale, but our sources say NBA commissioner Adam Silver has been well aware of Shelly's negotiations with Ballmer and other potential buyers and will support it.

Donald Sterling has made rumblings he may challenge the sale, but he will almost certainly fail.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Donald gave Shelly sole control over the team -- allowing her to sell it -- and even sent a letter to Silver affirming that Shelly had the reins.

As for Ballmer ... he vowed Thursday night to keep the team in Los Angeles. Ballmer is entrenched in Seattle -- which currently has no NBA team -- and even made a bid to buy the Sacramento Kings and move the team to the Emerald City.

It's pretty remarkable -- just one week ago, it appeared Silver would force an involuntary sale of the team, but Shelly and her lawyer, Pierce O'Donnell, took the initiative to solicit bids and ended up with a buyer pretty much everyone can get behind.

Nicki Minaj Floyd Mayweather Paid Her $50K To Show Up at Daughter's B-Day

Published | Updated

Nicki Minaj doesn't even have to sing to make bank -- sources tell TMZ Floyd Mayweather Jr. paid her $50,000 just to show her face at his daughter's 14th birthday party.

According to sources, Mayweather rented out the entire MGM ballroom in Vegas to celebrate Iyanna Mayweather's birthday last weekend -- and Nicki showed up to surprise her.

We're told Nicki stayed for about an hour -- hanging out with Iyanna, taking pics ... annnd that's pretty much it.

You'll recall, Iyanna's birthday party is essentially what set off the brawl between T.I. and Floyd -- after T.I.'s wife Tiny posted a photo of herself with Iyanna. Tiny was an unpaid guest.

Iyanna's pretty spoiled as far as celeb guests go -- last year, Justin Bieber showed up at her party. Just imagine what her sweet 16 will look like.

'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Cast Jeopardizes Next Season... Fighting for More Money

Published | Updated

More like 'Real GROUSEwives of Beverly Hills' -- Kyle Richards and co. are refusing to sign contracts to film the next season of the show ... effectively staging a holdout until they ALL get more money.

According to sources, 5 cast members have been asked to return for the fifth season -- Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, and Yolanda Foster -- but so far, zero have agreed to come back.

As we reported, Lisa has made it very clear she's on the fence about renewing her contract for personal reasons -- but we're told the other women are, more predictably, holding out for fatter paychecks.

Sources tell us negotiations have been intense, but Bravo is close to finalizing deals for everyone except Lisa, who remains a question mark.

As for who will replace the cast members who got bounced -- Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia -- it's unclear ... but we're told the new fiancee of Yolanda's ex-husband is a front-runner. Wonder why.

Brande Roderick Pulled 6-Figure Con Job ... Claims 'Millionaire Matchmaker' Con Man

Published | Updated

Brande Roderick is being accused of embezzling a ton of cash intended for a new start up company, but what's really rich about this is ... her accuser is sitting in prison for money fraud.

Micheal Anthony Prozer III --
who once lied his way on to 'Millionaire Matchmaker' -- claims the former Playmate of the Year and her husband, Glenn Cadrez, got him to invest $150,000 in 'Financially Hung,' which touts itself as a networking group for business people seeking access to exclusive parties and events.

Prozer claims Roderick and Cadrez took his cash and deposited it into their personal accounts, and never put it toward the business.

Now, a dash of hypocrisy -- Prozer's in a Federal pen after pleading guilty in 2012 to multiple counts of bank fraud ... totaling $3 million. He's expected to be released in 2019.

We think Omar from "The Wire" put it best ... "All in the game yo, all in the game."

We reached out to Brande ... but haven't heard back.

Anna Gunn Ex-Hubby Wants a Piece of Her 'Breaking Bad' Money

Published | Updated

Anna Gunn's estranged husband is so into the last season of "Breaking Bad" -- he wants a piece of it.

Gunn's husband -- Alastair Duncan -- filed for divorce in 2008 and the marriage officially ended the next year. The former couple has 2 kids but Duncan got child support for a short time after the divorce, but then agreed Anna could stop paying.

Things changed during the final season of the show, when Anna raked in more than $1 million ... and the lion's share -- $890,858.83 --- was from "Breaking Bad." By contrast, he only makes $10K a month as a realtor/actor.

Duncan now says financial circumstances have so significantly changed ... it's only fair for him to get child support again. He notes Anna has a new show on Fox -- "Gracepoint" -- and other projects including an off-Broadway show.

By the way ... of the million bucks she made last year ... she paid $92K to her agent, $51K to her business manager, $58K to her personal manager and $31K to her publicist.

Welcome to Hollywood.

At least 5 different people or businesses are claiming they're entitled to royalties from the song -- including the original writer ... according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

Universal Music -- which pays out the royalties -- filed the docs because it's not sure who rightfully deserves the dough ... and wants a judge to figure it out.

It's a nice chunk of change, too ... the song has been recorded by several different artists (including The Swinging Blue Jeans in this 1963 vid) and still gets airplay. In the last 6 months of 2013 the diddy earned $5,368 ... and Universal expects it to rake in at least another $20K in the future.

For goodness sake.
