Selena Her Murder as Big as JFK Assassination

Published | Updated

Selena's murder 20 years ago today was every bit as big as the death of John Lennon, Elvis Presley and the assassination of John F. Kennedy ... so claims the estate of the former Tejano music queen.

Selena's estate claims in new legal docs her record label is hoarding huge amounts of money that should go to Selena's loved ones. In fact, the estate claims Selena actually became way more popular in death than life.

With 60 million albums sold, the estate is livid that UMG is not honoring the deal -- that the estate gets 50% of net profits for things like ringtones, downloads and other stuff.

Selena was gunned down by the former president of her fan club on March 31, 1995.

'Shark Tank' Star Mayweather Ticket Prices Are Crazy ... Even For Me!

Published | Updated

He's worth a gazillion dollars (or something like that) ... but even super rich "Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec thinks paying $87,500 for a ringside seat to May vs. Pac is nothing short of crazy.

Herjavec was leaving Craig's in West Hollywood Monday night when we asked about the first fight tickets to hit the market -- and his reaction is interesting ... considering he's exactly the kind of guy who could actually consider forking over the dough for a seat.

That being said ... think Mark Cuban will buy a seat?

Mayweather Fight Buyers Lined Up for $87k Tix ... Broker Says

We broke the story ... the guy who runs Precision Concierge New York (PCNY) says he's secured 39 tickets to the fight, including ringside seats, which he's selling for $87,500 each.

Hours after he posted the tix and the prices, Oren Schneider says he's already had real interest from legit buyers looking to throw around some serious dough.

"I've been getting phone calls all day," Schneider says ... but so far, the ringside tickets have not been officially snatched up.

So, how did he get the seats since tickets have NOT gone on sale to the general public? Oren says he knows some very powerful people connected to the fight.

We called reps for the MGM Grand, Top Rank (Pacquiao's promoters) and TMT (Mayweather's people) who all told us the same thing -- it's possible the tickets are legit, but they didn't come from them.

As far as PCNY's legitimacy goes ... they've been registered as a legit business in New York since 2011 ... and we've spoken with several entertainment industry people who vouched for 'em.

That being said, here are some of the other prices:

(2) Lower 13 Row G @ $42,500 each (center ring)
(2) Lower 13 Row M @ $36,500 each (center ring)

Terrence Howard's Ex-Wife Move Over, Cookie ... I'm Taking My Cut of the 'Empire'

Published | Updated

Someone else is digging into Lucious Lyon's pockets -- Terrence Howard's real life ex-wife is demanding a chunk of his "Empire" salary.

Michelle Howard is already supposed to get $5,800 per month from Terrence -- but according to new docs ... she stands to benefit greatly from his astronomical success on the FOX show, and here's why.

The deal is Michelle gets 21% of anything Terrence made over $62,500 in the first 3 months of this year. As we previously reported ... Michelle says Terrence pulls in $125k per episode -- and sources tell us 3 episodes were shot this year.

We did the math, and he needs to cut her a check for about $65k. That's just from his "Empire" money. Remember, Terrence has another show -- "Wayward Pines" -- debuting on FOX this year ... so she'll get some chunk of that.

Bottom line -- they had a nasty divorce, but it's safe to say Michelle's now rooting for Terrence.

Caira -- who starred as an anorexic patient in the teen medical dramedy -- was 17 when she took the gig ... so she had to file a minor's contract with the court system.

According to the docs, Bravo raked in $20k-per-episode ... and the series ran 13 eps ... which according to our calculator app adds up to $260,000.

Not bad for a show hardly anyone watched.

Stan Lee is wheeling and dealing ... unloading one of his mansions and willing to sweeten the deal with Spidey.

Now here's the sweetener ... he's willing to throw in the autographed, life-size Spider-Man statue in the entry, but not for free -- it's $25k extra. The extra cash will go to charity.

Stan snagged the 5,000 sq. ft. house with 5-bedrooms and 7.5 bath for his daughter back in 2012 for $3.4 mil, but she's moved on, so he's cashing in.

Remember, house spiders are good luck.

Prince Sued for Allegedly Poaching 'Voice' Contestant

Published | Updated

Prince shamelessly stole a recording artist away from the producer who discovered Lady Gaga ... and her company is now going after The Purple One in court ... this according to legal docs filed by fame music producer, Jolene Cherry.

Singer Judith Hill made a name for herself on "The Voice" in 2013. Sony got interested in her. Ditto Cherry, who says she also first eyed Lady Gaga. Sony and Cherry partnered and claim they signed her to an exclusive recording deal.

According to the lawsuit ... a few months ago, Cherry heard rumblings that Hill was meeting with Prince for a recording session. Cherry claims she warned Judith to stop earlier this month, only to learn that she and Prince recorded an entire album -- 11 songs -- and released it Monday as a free Internet download.

Cherry is now going after Prince with a vengeance, courtesy of her lawyer Larry Stein, asking not only for regular damages but punitive damages for underhandedness.

Judith's attorney Peter Haviland tells us Cherry's suit is simply a publicity stunt ... since Judith already has a pending lawsuit to confirm she is free from Cherry. He adds, "Prince has done absolutely nothing wrong. Judith was and is absolutely free to perform her music as she has done."

Ray J on 'Love & Hip Hop' Intense Give & Hate Negotiations ... But He's Coming Back

Published | Updated

Ray J wants more love ... "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" producers want more drama -- but they still hammered out a deal to keep him on the show, save his relationship, and line his pockets all at once.

Ray J hashed out his problems with the show's creator, Mona Scott, at dinner Wednesday night ... along with his girlfriend, Princess Love.

As TMZ first reported, Ray J quit the show because he felt it only showed his relationship with Princess Love in a negative light and he thought the show was hurting them.

We're told Ray J asked Mona to show more of the good parts of his and PL's relationship. Mona agreed, but insisted on keeping some drama on cam too. She knows what pays the bills.

In the end, we're told Ray agreed to more balance -- and just to seal the deal, Mona sweetened the pot with a new contract that includes ratings bonuses.

You take the good, you take the bad ... but most of all, you take the money.

Darius McCrary Arrested Child Support Scofflaw

Published | Updated

Darius McCrary was arrested and jailed because he was way behind in child support.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, "The Family Matters" star was in family court Wednesday in Oakland County, Michigan when the judge had him arrested and taken to jail.

Darius was given 2 options -- pay $5,500 in back support, or unpack and relax for 14 days behind bars. Darius chose door number 1.

McCrary was only in for a couple of hours and released later in the day.

The actor has a son ... looks like he's about 7 years old.

'Glee' Star Mark Salling Settles with Former GF In Fight Over Sexual Encounter

Published | Updated

Former "Glee" star Mark Salling has just agreed to pay a woman more than $2.7 million for knocking her to the ground in a furious fight over an alleged sexual encounter ... and the settlement is absolutely bizarre.

Roxanne Gorzela claimed in her lawsuit ... in 2011, she hooked up with Mark and she consented to having sex but he did not want to wear a condom and forced unprotected sex anyway.

Gorzela claimed a few days later she went to Mark's apartment to confront him, worrying she might have contracted an STD. She claims they fought and he threw her to the ground, severely injuring her knees.

Mark claimed she was just a woman scorned and broke into his place, attacked him and he just defended himself. She sued for sexual battery.

The case settled Monday, in the middle of trial. The sexual battery claim was dropped and the only thing Mark admitted to was negligently causing her to fall and injure herself.

Now this is where it gets bizarre. They agreed to her damages:

-- Past medicals $64,155

-- Future medicals $666,000

-- Past non-economic damages $180,000

-- Future non-economic damages (pain and suffering) $1.8 million

Grand total: $2,710,155

But under the settlement, she agreed to ONLY go after Mark's insurance company to get payment -- NOT Salling.

We're told the insurance company -- State Farm -- already rejected the claim, but now there's a settlement signed by a judge.

And get this ... under the settlement, Salling gets a cut of whatever Gorzela gets from State Farm. Yes, in case that didn't compute with you, Salling will get a cut because he believes State Farm owes him something for rejecting his initial claim in bad faith.

Chris Brown I Want My Baby Mama Close So I Can Be a Good Dad

Published | Updated

A lot of rappers run for the hills when they knock up some random chick, but Chris Brown wants to move that random chick to the hills ... the Hollywood Hills, so he can be close to his little girl.

TMZ broke the story ... Chris got Nia Guzman, a 31-year-old Houston woman, pregnant and now he's the proud dad of 9-month-old Royalty. We know Chris has spent time with the baby since finding out he's the father, but it's difficult because Royalty is 1372 air miles away from Chris' L.A. home.

Sources connected with Chris tell us ... he's asked Nia to move to L.A. with their daughter and he'll foot the bill for housing. He's not romantically involved with Nia, but we're told he genuinely wants a meaningful relationship with Royalty. He's saying he'd like to see her every day.

Chris is in "negotiations" with Nia over support. He's paying her more than he's required to under the law, but he got pissed off when she started talking about their relationship and vowed to go to court where a judge would reduce the child support he's informally paying.

Our sources say Chris has told Nia, if she moves to L.A. he won't pull the trigger on a child support court case and she'll continue getting the premium amount, in addition to a place to live.

Nia hasn't decided, but it sounds like a good deal.

Carson Daly Sued Gas Station Fuming Over Chain Link Fence

Published | Updated

Carson Daly may have THOUGHT good fences make good neighbors, but his fence just got him sued.

Carson owns a house in a really nice part of Santa Monica overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There's a Chevron gas station next door -- we know that sounds weird, but it's a whole topography thing.

Seems the gas station believes Carson's fence is sitting on its property, and not by inches -- by feet. The gas station has sued Carson, asking a judge to make it clear to the host of "The Voice" he has to remove the chain link.

But that's not all. The friendly petroleum folks want money, and apparently lots of it.

We've reached out to Carson's rep but no word back.

What would you pay to hear the judge call the case and say, "Chain chain chain, chain chain chain, chain chain chain, chain of fools."
