NBA

Master P got another one!

TMZ Sports has learned ex-NBA star Glen "Big Baby" Davis has signed on to play in the Global Mixed Gender Basketball league ... along with 2 other former NBA players.

We're told Davis -- along with Stromile Swift and Tyrus Thomas -- are all on board and will play in the GMGB's first exhibition game on Sept. 23 in Las Vegas.

Stromile was the 2nd overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft. Tyrus was 4th overall in 2006.

"We are thrilled about signing these three for a few reasons,” Miller says.

"They are all former NBA players with a lot of game still in them, former LSU Tigers and all Louisiana guys! It will make for great fan participation to have them on the team."

The owner of the Houston Rockets just pulled out his checkbook -- AGAIN -- for the victims of Hurricane Harvey ... upping his original $4 million donation to a whopping $10 MILLION.

Leslie Alexander told Houston mayor, Sylvester Turner, that he is more than doubling his initial contribution to the city on Tuesday ... according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.

Some good news, bad news for Cleveland fans ...

Good news ... Dwyane Wade tells TMZ Sports he's been talking with LeBron James and is planning to meet with him THIS WEEK.

Bad news ... he's playing it VERY coy about rumors he's leaving Chicago for the Cavs.

Wade had just arrived at LAX after his big European vacation (he asked if we liked his tan!) ... and that's when we asked about his NBA future.

"We text each other," Wade said about LeBron -- but when we asked if he was gonna join him next season he told us, "I'm gonna join him at dinner this week somewhere."

For Wade to land with the Cavs, he would have to negotiate a buyout with the Bulls that could cost him millions of dollars.

The smokin' hot daughter of Bucks co-owner Wes Edens is shootin' HIGH with her NBA future ... saying she's gunnin' to own the most valuable team in the league!!

Spoiler -- it's not the Bucks (sorry, dad).

“I wanna buy the Knicks one day," Mallory Edens told TMZ Sports when we saw her in L.A.

Our photog asked if she was gonna try and trade the franchises in a Kyrie-for-IT-level blockbuster ... but she wasn't having none of that.

“I don’t need to swap -- my dad can keep the Bucks.”

Ouch.

In her defense ... the Knicks are worth a lot more -- Forbes says they're valued at $3.3 BILLION!

In all seriousness, Mallory told us she wants to be a trailblazer for women in the NBA and sports in general ... and we think she can do it.

I mean, she can basically spell Giannis Antetokounmpo. Pretty impressive.

The Kyrie Irving for Isaiah Thomas trade might be on hold right now ... but it's GOING DOWN eventually -- so says Austin Rivers.

Austin hadn't heard of I.T.'s injury holding up the deal ... but told TMZ Sports NBA fans can chill out about it cause the Cavs and Celtics are handlin' business.

"They're just doing their job -- doing their due diligence. I'm sure the deal will go through." Rivers said.

Basically, they'll find a way to make it work -- cause it's a win-win for both squads.

"Hey you ... yeah, you in the thong! Can you come over and take a picture?"

"No, you're not in it -- snap this shot of me and my wife!"

Here's Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union capturing the beauty of Greece in all of it's bathing suit glory.

Dwyane looks hot. Gabby looks hot. The random chick taking the photo looks hot.

Katy Perry just hired a bunch of HUGE athletes for her new music video -- everyone from Rob Gronkowski to Karl-Anthony Towns ... even Joey Chestnut!!!

It's all for Katy's new "Swish Swish" video -- which all takes place at a basketball game, with Bill Walton and Rich Eisen announcing.

Some of the highlights ... Katy "Kobe" Perry takes on the guy who plays The Mountain on "Game of Thrones" while Chestnut slams down hot dogs in the crowd.

Gronk holds a sign. Karl-Anthony busts out the "Backpack Kid" dance.

Good times.

Cleveland Cavs star Derrick Rose just got a brand new family member -- he's adorable, he's furry and he ain't cheap!

TMZ Sports has learned Derrick and GF, Alaina Anderson, brought home a 10-week-old Chocolate Goldendoodle puppy this week from Murphy's Doodles, a high-end breeder in Florida.

We're told ... the couple dropped $4,600 for the pooch -- which they immediately brought out to their home in Beverly Hills.

So far, we're told the dog doesn't have a name -- but they're workin' on it!

Congrats!

L.A. Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari tells TMZ Sports the thumb he busted while punching a guy in Italy is healing nicely ... he's almost ready play again!

The 28-year-old suffered the injury last month -- right after he signed his 3-year $65 million deal -- when he socked a player from the Netherlands during a European exhibition game for Italy.

The good news ... Gallinari says the thumb is "very good" -- and he expects to use it to help the Clippers win a championship this year!

They stopped. They dropped. They shut 'em down AND opened up shop.

Usain Bolt and Dwyane Wade went all the way back to '98 at a nightclub in Greece Tuesday night -- grabbing the mic and busting out DMX's legendary "Ruff Ryders' Anthem" ... and it was AWESOME!

D-Wade's in Mykonos for an anniversary trip -- no word on why Bolt's there -- but they met up behind the DJ booth in a Mykonos nightclub and partied like they were old friends.

We're sure DMX woulda loved to have been there too ... if he wasn't on house arrest.

How do Houston Rockets players feel about Beyonce possibly buying the team?

Trevor Ariza says he's all about it.

Kevin Durant's getting Hall of Fame support on his decision to turn down an invitation to Trump's White House -- with NBA legend, Gary Payton, telling TMZ Sports he wouldn't go either.

Just last week, Durant said he wouldn't go to 1600 Penn. with his Golden State Warriors teammates if Trump extended the invite ... telling us he doesn't "f*ck with" POTUS.

So, when we saw "The Glove" leaving Craig's in West Hollywood -- we asked what he would do in the same situation. Trump ain't gonna like his answer.

Blake Griffin thinks LeBron James could end up in NYC -- but that's news to LeBron James.

Bron was leaving Coral Tree Cafe in Brentwood on Sunday when we asked about the prediction Griffin made on the "View From the Cheap Seats" podcast ... that LeBron will leave Cleveland for the Knicks.

"Honestly, I don’t see him coming to L.A. period," Griffin said ... "I could see him going to New York before L.A."

So, how did Bron feel about that?

"I don't even know what you're talking about, shawty," LeBron told our female photog ... right before hopping into his clean white Porsche.

Lonzo Ball says he's incredibly thankful to Jay-Z for ordering 3 pairs of his ZO2 kicks -- but reminds the mogul the shoes ain't coming for another 3 months!

We got Lonzo out in Bev Hills over the weekend -- after dropping some cash at Louis Vuitton -- and asked about Jay publicly and privately throwing his support behind the Big Baller Brand.

"I'm just thankful man," the Lakers rookie said ... "Appreciate it."

Lonzo says he hasn't met with Jay and doesn't know too much about the business side of the shoe line -- "I just play basketball man. I don't handle that."

As for Jay's one complaint ... that he hasn't received any of the shoes yet -- Lonzo reminded Hov that they aren't scheduled to ship until November.

As we previously reported, Jay appeared on "Rap Radar" podcast on Tidal last week and told Elliott Wilson and B.Dot that he's backing the BBB brand because it's important for him to help black owned businesses.

TMZ Sports has obtained injury photos from the man Robert Horry tried to fight at a youth basketball game ... which shows bloody damage to the man's neck.

We broke the story ... Horry is under investigation for allegedly attacking the opposing coach at his 10-year-old son's youth basketball tournament at L.A. Live on August 5.

The opposing coach tells TMZ Sports -- he was a big Horry fan BEFORE the tournament. But Robert was aggressive and out-of-line from the moment he got to the courts.

The coach -- who doesn't want to be named -- says Horry was cussing and talking trash before and during the game and initiated the violent encounter that was captured on video.

The coach says he was"terrified" of Horry and only shoved the 46-year-old to protect himself.

Horry tells a different story ... claiming the coach struck first.

Cops are currently investigating the incident.

Gary Payton -- NBA champion, 9-time all-star, Hall of Famer ... and rap music icon?!

You better believe it!!

The Glove is still "Livin' Legal and Large" 15 years after his lyrical debut as the Too $hort of the NBA ... giving TMZ Sports a super-exclusive rendition of his 1993 hit!!

G.P. and other NBA stars like Jason Kidd, Shaq and Brian Shaw teamed up for the "B-Ball's Best Kept Secret" mixtape back in their playing days ... but it's clear Payton hasn't put his bar spittin' days behind him.

"Comin' up as a youngsta, the G had faith!!!"
